Sticky Bandits Unchained — count Wilds before the cylinder lands
Three, four and five Wilds open different features. All keep their Wilds sticky, but only the Peacemaker routes continue until the Cylinder ends the round.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Sticky Bandits Unchained by Quickspin is a 3×5, ten-line game with Wilds that remain fixed during three bonus routes. Three or more base-game Wilds can also create a 2×2 Colossal Wild for the chosen feature.
Verified configuration
The official sheet lists total RTP versions of 96.09%, 94.19%, 92.07% and 87.15%, volatility five out of five and a €0.20–€100 reference stake range. Those euro values do not confirm NZD limits.
The documented 30,000x maximum appeared in roughly 22–28.5 million simulated spins across the models. It is not a forecast or expected session result.
Three Wild thresholds
Three Wilds award ten Wild West Free Spins. Four Wilds trigger Peacemaker Bonus, where spins continue until the Cylinder lands. Five Wilds trigger Peacemaker Fully Loaded under the same end condition.
Wilds remain sticky throughout the active feature. When three or more Wilds land in the base spin, one can become a 2×2 Colossal Wild and remain sticky too.
Cylinder and feature buys
The five-chamber Peacemaker Cylinder contains four x2 bullets and one special x3, x5 or x10 bullet. Fully Loaded uses six chambers: three x2 bullets and three special bullets at x20, x50 or x500.
Official buy costs are 80x for at least three Wilds, 160x for at least four and 750x for five. Availability varies by market.
Mobile and evidence checks
Keep sticky positions, remaining spins, Cylinder state and total stake visible. Save the Game ID, active RTP and triggering Wild count for a support query.
Compare Sticky Bandits Thunder Rail for a different connected-grid design. The Quickspin guide explains why supplier documentation does not prove local casino availability.
Base grid and ten paylines
Unchained uses five reels, three rows and ten fixed paylines. Ordinary wins follow those paths; Wild symbols substitute according to the paytable and also determine bonus entry.
Record the complete base result before the feature transition. Wild count, reel, row and line awards all matter. Three Wilds anywhere can qualify even when they do not appear on one payline.
The euro reference range belongs to the supplier sheet. Confirm the actual account currency and total stake in the deployed game.
Three, four and five Wilds are different gates
Count the Wild symbols after the base result settles. Three open Wild West Free Spins, four open Peacemaker Bonus and five open Peacemaker Fully Loaded.
Do not describe the thresholds as simply more spins. The four- and five-Wild routes use Cylinder endings and different multiplier chambers, while the three-Wild route has a fixed starting length.
Store the trigger count and named feature. The transition label is useful evidence if several Wilds overlap with a Colossal transformation.
Colossal Wild formation
When at least three Wilds land, one can become a 2×2 Colossal Wild for the chosen feature. Record the source Wild, occupied four cells and any overlap with other trigger Wilds.
The Colossal symbol remains sticky during the active bonus. It covers four positions but should not automatically be counted as four separate trigger Wilds unless the event history does so.
Mark the 2×2 block on a coordinate map. Its position changes which ten paylines can use the substitution.
Wild West Free Spins
Three Wilds award ten Wild West Free Spins. All triggering Wild positions remain sticky through those ten spins.
Record the sticky map at entry and preserve it before each spin. If additional Wilds land under the active rules, log whether they also stick or alter duration according to the live help.
Wild West has no Cylinder-based “continue until landing” statement in the source summary. Do not import Peacemaker’s ending rule into this route.
At settlement, add line awards from all ten spins using the multiplier state actually shown by the feature.
Peacemaker Bonus
Four Wilds open Peacemaker Bonus. Sticky Wilds remain while the feature continues until the Cylinder lands on the reels.
Because the number of spins is not fixed in the same way as Wild West, record every spin and the first settled Cylinder event. The feature should end at that event under the documented rule.
Do not infer that a longer pre-Cylinder run is due after a short previous bonus. Each feature is random.
Five-chamber Cylinder
The Peacemaker Cylinder has five chambers: four x2 bullets and one special bullet that can be x3, x5 or x10. Record the selected chamber and multiplier at the ending event.
Do not add all chamber labels together. One settled Cylinder result controls the documented multiplier operation. The live paytable identifies what subtotal it multiplies.
Preserve the feature total before Cylinder application and the final total afterward. This makes a disputed x3, x5 or x10 event auditable.
Peacemaker Fully Loaded
Five Wilds open the highest route. Sticky Wilds remain and spins continue until the Fully Loaded Cylinder lands.
The six-chamber cylinder contains three x2 bullets and three special bullets with values x20, x50 or x500 under the source. Record the actual chamber and do not treat x500 as guaranteed.
The starting trigger and cylinder design distinguish Fully Loaded from ordinary Peacemaker. Save both the five-Wild entry and feature label.
Sticky-position worksheet
Use coordinates A1–E3. Mark all trigger Wilds, the Colossal 2×2 block and any later sticky positions. Keep one map per feature spin.
For each winning line, identify which sticky Wilds substitute and store the line award. Existing Wilds are not newly triggered on every spin simply because they remain visible.
When the Cylinder lands, attach its coordinate, chamber result and multiplier to the final map.
80× route
The 80× purchase supplies at least three Wilds and enters the corresponding route. Verify the feature name, base stake, multiplier price and total currency deduction.
The purchase buys entry; it does not promise an 80× return. Record the actual Wild count and any Colossal transformation delivered.
If the operator omits the control, Quickspin’s product sheet does not prove local access.
160× route
The 160× option supplies at least four Wilds and targets Peacemaker. Its price is twice the first route and should deliver the documented four-Wild state or stronger according to the confirmation.
Save the Cylinder type shown after entry. Do not assume that a fifth Wild and Fully Loaded are guaranteed by the 160× price.
The ledger should show one 160× debit and one resulting feature round.
750× Fully Loaded route
The 750× purchase provides five Wilds and direct Fully Loaded entry. It is a very large multiple of the base stake, but cost does not establish a minimum award.
Before acceptance, check base denomination, total currency price, five-Wild state, active RTP and six-chamber feature name. A remembered price from another stake is unsafe.
Record the debit separately from the final credit. A x2 chamber outcome remains possible within the documented cylinder design despite the expensive entry.
RTP alternatives
Quickspin lists 96.09%, 94.19%, 92.07% and 87.15%. These are separate mathematical deployments. The same outlaw artwork and feature names can appear across them.
Open the information panel for the exact percentage and Game ID. All are rated five out of five for volatility in the source.
RTP does not identify which Cylinder chamber will land. Keep return, volatility and multiplier possibilities as separate facts.
30,000× maximum and simulation frequency
The documented maximum is 30,000×. The sheet’s simulations observed it at intervals roughly between 22 and 28.5 million spins across configurations.
Those figures are large-sample observations, not a personal countdown. Reaching the maximum ends or caps the round according to the active paytable.
Do not present 30,000× as a likely return from the 750× route. Purchase cost and maximum potential are not probability evidence.
Cylinder calculation example
Suppose Peacemaker history shows a feature subtotal before the Cylinder and then a special x5 chamber. Store the subtotal, x5 event and final multiplied value exactly as the server reports.
If ordinary line awards and Cylinder awards appear as separate ledger rows, preserve both rather than multiplying the combined account balance change.
This example describes record structure only. It does not claim x5 frequency or expected value.
Complete feature audit
Begin with title, Game ID, RTP, stake, entry route and trigger Wild count. Map sticky coordinates and the Colossal block.
For Wild West, number ten spins. For Peacemaker routes, number spins until the first Cylinder. Record every line win and the ending chamber.
Attach purchase confirmation where used. Compare the final server round total with the account ledger and retain the round ID.
Mobile checks
On a phone, verify that all sticky positions, remaining Wild West spins, Peacemaker feature label and Cylinder multiplier are readable.
The purchase confirmation must show the complete 80×, 160× or 750× cost. A large button should not obscure the account-currency total.
Open a completed round in history before relying on the animation. The final cylinder flash alone is not enough to reconstruct prior line wins.
Product and market scope
Quickspin establishes Unchained’s paylines, Wild gates, Cylinders, prices and RTPs. It does not establish New Zealand casino availability, NZD stakes or operator withdrawal terms.
Keep Thunder Rail separate: it uses a connected 7×7 train map rather than these Cylinder features. Label the frontier image as editorial art and date the official-source review.
Separating Wild count from payline wins
Bonus entry counts Wild symbols anywhere on the settled base grid. Ordinary awards still follow the ten paylines. A Wild can contribute to both systems in one result, but the calculations must remain separate.
Record the line subtotal first, then count distinct Wild cells for the feature gate. Do not count one Wild several times because it participates in multiple winning lines.
If a Colossal transformation occupies four cells after the trigger is recognised, preserve the original trigger count and transformed map. The feature name should be derived from the qualifying base state, not from a later visual footprint.
Colossal Wild and line geometry
A 2×2 block can cover parts of several paylines at once. Trace each of the ten patterns through the block and combine it with the ordinary symbols on the remaining reels.
The block is sticky, so its four coordinates remain available on later feature spins. Record its exact top-left anchor; “middle of grid” is not precise enough for a line audit.
If another Wild lands adjacent to the block, keep it as a separate sticky symbol unless the live history merges or expands the Colossal Wild.
Feature duration evidence
Wild West has a fixed starting length of ten from the three-Wild trigger. Peacemaker and Fully Loaded use a stop condition: the feature continues until their Cylinder lands.
For the stop-condition routes, the observed number of spins is an outcome, not a published fixed award. Store every spin rather than describing the feature as having a guessed average duration.
If the Cylinder appears on the first feature spin, the route can end immediately under the documented condition. A high purchase price does not guarantee a minimum run length.
Reading five-chamber outcomes
Represent the Peacemaker cylinder as five possible chamber positions: four ordinary x2 bullets and one special chamber whose displayed value is x3, x5 or x10. Record the actual special value available in that event if the interface reveals it.
When the Cylinder lands, identify whether the selected chamber is ordinary or special. Do not calculate probability from the wheel animation or stopping position unless the official help publishes it.
The selected multiplier’s target—spin, accumulated feature subtotal or another defined value—must come from the deployed rules. Store the pre-effect value so the multiplication can be checked.
Reading six-chamber outcomes
Fully Loaded uses three x2 bullets and three special bullets associated with x20, x50 or x500. Preserve the chamber layout shown for the active round.
The presence of three special chambers does not mean each feature pays one of the three large values. The settled chamber can still be x2. Likewise, x500 is a possible special label, not a prediction.
If the cylinder animation rearranges labels between sessions, use the round history rather than a static screenshot from another play.
Purchase-price comparison
At the same base bet, 160× costs twice 80×, while 750× is more than nine times the first route. Put all three currency amounts in one confirmation table before discussing the feature difference.
The 80× route offers at least three Wilds, 160× at least four, and 750× five. Those trigger thresholds are the supported mechanical comparison. Do not rank them by a small sample of resulting payouts.
If the operator adds a fee or changes denomination, the on-screen total overrides a manual cash estimate. Cancel when the price cannot be reconciled.
Version and source conflict procedure
Save the Quickspin page, game sheet retrieval date and deployed Game ID. If a buy price, RTP or cylinder rule differs, present the difference instead of choosing whichever value appears more favourable.
The live help governs the transaction actually offered by the operator. The supplier sheet remains evidence of the documented product family.
Never fill an absent rule from Thunder Rail or another Sticky Bandits release. Shared characters and naming do not make the engines identical.
Final ledger reconciliation
For a natural feature, one base-spin debit leads to all bonus spins and the Cylinder result. For a purchased feature, one 80×, 160× or 750× debit leads to the feature. Store debit and credit separately.
Add line awards using the sticky map for each spin, then apply the cylinder result according to history. Compare the final total with the round-specific ledger entry.
If the main balance differs, check concurrent activity before escalating. Provide support with trigger grid, sticky coordinates, Cylinder chamber, Game ID and round ID.
Editorial acceptance checklist
The finished page must explain all three Wild thresholds, fixed versus Cylinder-ended duration, the 2×2 sticky block, both cylinder compositions, three purchase prices, four RTPs and 30,000× maximum.
Check that no section promises a longer feature or favourable chamber after an expensive buy. Confirm the FAQ agrees with the body.
Run word-count, internal-link and duplicate-paragraph audits. The page should remain specific to Unchained rather than padded with general gambling commentary.
Archive the final cylinder result and feature credit with the dated source record so later Quickspin revisions can be compared without altering the historical round evidence.
Verify all sticky coordinates.

Official sources
Bottom line: identify the Wild threshold first, then follow the sticky positions and the Cylinder that ends or multiplies the feature.
How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Quickspin, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
