Epic Fish Adventure — map three routes to the Golden Marlin

Every trigger awards twelve spins, but the Wild milestone, sticky behaviour and Golden Fish rules change with three, four or five Bonus symbols.

Epic Fish Adventure by Quickspin is a five-reel, three-row game with ten paylines. Wilds collect the values of visible Fish, while three Free Spins variants change how Wild milestones add spins and stick.

Verified configuration

The official sheet lists total RTP versions of 96.07%, 94.19%, 92.07% and 87.15%. Volatility is 4.5 out of five for the 96% model and four for the other three. The reference stake range is €0.10–€100, not confirmed NZD pricing.

Quickspin’s 100-million-spin simulations found maximum payouts of 5,190x, 5,154x, 5,073x and 4,964x respectively. These are version-specific observations, not expected session outcomes.

Fish Collection and trigger routes

Each Wild collects all visible Fish values. Three or more Bonus symbols start twelve spins and keep Fish Collection active, but the named round depends on the count.

Three Bonuses open Sunrise Spins, four open Hold The Line and five open Golden Marlin. The Free Spins cannot retrigger through Bonus symbols.

Wild milestones and Fortified Wilds

Sunrise adds one spin for every four collected Wilds. Hold The Line adds two and makes each Wild stick for one extra spin. Golden Marlin adds three per four Wilds and also uses Fortified Wilds.

The final mode adds a Golden Fish that can be collected by a Wild on the same spin. Its prize grows each time it appears. Track the visible value rather than assuming a fixed Golden Fish award.

Extra Bet and feature buys

Extra Bet doubles the default bet and increases the chance of Bonus symbols. Quickspin lists feature-buy prices of 40x, 95x and 250x for the three trigger levels, subject to market availability.

Mobile and evidence checks

Confirm that the collected-Wild counter, fortified positions, Golden Fish value and remaining spins remain visible on mobile. Preserve the round ID, active RTP, trigger count and final credit if a collection cannot be reconstructed.

Net of Fortune uses Fish Collection but a different upgrade meter. Winter Catch and Marlin Madness also have distinct rules. Use the exact Quickspin source for each title.

Ten paylines and the base round

The five-reel, three-row window uses ten fixed paylines. Standard symbol combinations follow those line paths. This is not an all-ways game, so a matching symbol outside the active line does not automatically contribute.

Fish symbols display multiplier values for the collection mechanic. A Fish is not paid merely because it appears. A Wild must collect the visible Fish under the documented rule. Keep line awards and Fish Collection in separate rows.

The supplier’s euro stake range is a product reference. Record the denomination and total bet shown in the launched account rather than converting the range into an unsupported NZD claim.

How Fish Collection settles

When a Wild lands, it collects all visible Fish values. If several Wilds are present on the same result, the game history should show how each fisherman applies the visible pool. Preserve the number of Wilds, every Fish multiplier and the final collection.

Use multiplier units during the calculation. Sum the eligible Fish values, apply the number of collecting Wild events according to the live help, and convert the result with the base bet once. Add any ordinary line win separately.

Fish that appear on different spins belong to different collection events unless a feature rule keeps them visible. Do not sum every Fish seen across twelve spins into one pool.

This title’s collection rule should not be replaced with the locked Net Respin sequence from Net of Fortune. The shared fisherman character does not make the mechanics identical.

Three Bonus symbols: Sunrise Spins

Exactly three or more trigger symbols at the first tier open twelve Sunrise Spins. All three named features start with twelve; the trigger count changes the rule set rather than simply increasing the initial length.

Sunrise tracks collected Wilds. Every four collected Wilds add one spin. Create a counter beginning at zero and update it only when the feature records a Wild as collected for the milestone.

At counts four, eight, twelve and so on, the rule can add another spin while the feature remains active. Record spins before the event, the Wild milestone and spins after the addition.

Bonus symbols do not retrigger the feature under the source. The added spins come from Wild milestones and should not be labelled scatter retriggers.

Four Bonus symbols: Hold The Line

Four Bonus symbols open twelve Hold The Line spins. Here, every four collected Wilds add two spins instead of one. Each Wild also remains in its position for one extra spin as a Fortified Wild.

Mark the reel and row where each Wild lands and the following spin for which it persists. A one-extra-spin Wild is not sticky until the end of the bonus. Remove it from the persistent-state table after its documented fortified duration.

The same Wild can collect Fish on its landing result and remain available for the next spin. Store those as two timed states rather than assuming it is a new Wild twice.

When the cumulative count reaches a multiple of four, add the two awarded spins exactly once. Existing fortified Wilds do not advance the milestone again solely because they stay visible.

Five Bonus symbols: Golden Marlin

Five Bonus symbols open twelve Golden Marlin spins, the highest starting route. Every four collected Wilds add three spins, and Wilds use the Fortified behaviour described for the advanced features.

This route also adds the Golden Fish. A Wild must appear on the same spin to collect its displayed award. The Golden Fish value grows each time the symbol appears, so record the visible value on every occurrence.

An uncollected Golden Fish does not automatically pay simply because it appeared. Store appearance, displayed value, collecting Wild present or absent, and settled result.

The growing value is a feature state, not a progressive jackpot published across casinos. Do not present it as a shared balance or guaranteed future collection.

Counting collected Wild milestones

Use a dedicated table with spin number, Wilds collected on that spin, cumulative count, milestone reached and spins added. Sunrise adds one per four; Hold The Line adds two; Golden Marlin adds three.

The phrase “per four Wilds” describes blocks of four. After a milestone at four, the next is eight. Do not add spins on counts five, six and seven unless another documented rule does so.

If several Wilds on one result carry the counter across a threshold, update the cumulative total after the collection event and record the single milestone award for each multiple of four crossed.

Keep this counter distinct from the remaining-spin counter and from Fish values. All three may change during one animated result.

Fortified Wild timing

In Hold The Line and Golden Marlin, a Wild is fortified so that it stays for one additional spin. Label the landing spin as T and its retained spin as T+1. After T+1, it should not be assumed to remain unless another event renews it under the active rules.

If a second Wild lands while the first is retained, track each position and expiry separately. One can leave while the other remains. A final screenshot does not show when each entered the feature.

On the retained spin, the Wild can collect eligible Fish shown with it. Do not count the retained Wild as a newly collected Wild milestone unless the game history explicitly increments the counter again.

Golden Fish value trail

Create a Golden Fish ledger with appearance number, displayed multiplier, collecting Wild and award. The first appearance establishes the starting value shown by the game; each later appearance reflects the documented growth.

Do not invent the increment where the source excerpt does not state a fixed amount. Record the actual displayed value. The game history, not a guessed progression, controls the settlement.

A Golden Fish and ordinary Fish can appear together. Separate the Golden Fish award from the ordinary Fish pool so the growing special value is not accidentally collected twice.

If no Wild appears on the same spin, mark the Golden Fish as uncollected and preserve the new state shown for a later appearance.

Extra Bet mode

Extra Bet doubles the default stake and increases the chance of Bonus symbols. It does not double Fish values or guarantee one of the three features.

Confirm the total amount after enabling the mode. The selection can change the trigger opportunity, but every outcome remains random. Keep Extra Bet rounds identified in the history.

Do not run Extra Bet simultaneously with a feature purchase unless the live interface explicitly allows and prices that combination. The confirmation screen is the source for the actual deduction.

If the control is missing, the provider’s global documentation does not prove it is available for a New Zealand account.

Buying Sunrise Spins

The 40× purchase opens the three-trigger Sunrise route. Verify the feature name, twelve starting spins, base bet and final account-currency price before accepting.

Buying entry does not guarantee a result equal to 40×. The feature still depends on Wild and Fish appearances and the one-spin-per-four-Wild milestone.

Store the purchase confirmation and server round under one case. If the wrong route appears, the feature name and ledger deduction are the relevant evidence.

Buying Hold The Line

The 95× route starts Hold The Line with twelve spins. Its higher price corresponds to two added spins per four collected Wilds and the one-extra-spin Fortified Wild rule.

Check that the confirmation specifically names Hold The Line. A generic “bonus” label is insufficient where three priced routes exist.

The 95× cost is calculated from the active base stake. A changed denomination makes an earlier remembered cash price unreliable.

Buying Golden Marlin

The 250× route starts the Golden Marlin feature. It includes the three-spins-per-four-Wild milestone, Fortified Wilds and the growing Golden Fish rule.

The route does not promise a Golden Fish collection, a particular growth level or repayment of 250×. Record every special Fish occurrence from the resulting history.

Feature buying can be disabled by operator or market. The Quickspin sheet establishes product capability only. The logged-in game determines actual access.

RTP and volatility variants

The four total RTP configurations are 96.07%, 94.19%, 92.07% and 87.15%. They are alternatives. The same art can be deployed with one of several mathematical models.

Volatility is 4.5 out of five for the highest-return model and four for the remaining three. This is the supplier’s relative classification and does not forecast the next Fish collection.

Open the game information panel and record the Game ID and RTP. Do not select 96.07% merely because it appears first in a provider sheet.

Check whether optional routes publish separate returns in the deployed help. Keep those mode-specific figures rather than assuming one number covers everything.

Simulation results in context

The sheet reports peak results of 5,190×, 5,154×, 5,073× and 4,964× across 100-million-spin simulations for the respective versions. These are observed supplier tests, not stated contractual maxima.

Do not convert those values into personal probabilities or a schedule. A sample maximum says what appeared in that simulation, not when a player should expect it.

If the live paytable provides a formal maximum, use that statement for the deployed version and retain the simulation figures only as technical context.

Complete bonus worksheet

Start with title, Game ID, RTP, currency, stake, trigger count and route name. Record twelve initial spins. On each spin, list Wild positions, ordinary Fish values, Golden Fish state where applicable and line-win subtotal.

Update the collected-Wild milestone separately. For Hold The Line and Golden Marlin, maintain Fortified Wild positions and expiry spin. For Golden Marlin, add the special value trail and whether it was collected.

At settlement, sum line awards and Fish Collection events, then compare them with the account history. The worksheet should explain every added spin without using Bonus symbols as a retrigger.

Mobile and source-boundary review

On mobile, verify that the route name, remaining spins, collected-Wild count, fortified positions and Golden Fish value remain readable. Open a completed round history before using a material stake.

Quickspin materials establish mechanics and reference figures, not New Zealand availability or NZD support. Check operator eligibility and currency separately. Label the original page artwork as editorial illustration rather than proof of a live casino lobby.

Separating Adventure from other Epic Fish releases

Adventure is identified by three named twelve-spin routes, milestones at every four collected Wilds, Fortified Wilds in the upper routes and Golden Fish in the five-trigger route. Net of Fortune instead uses Net Respins and six/twelve-Wild tier upgrades. Winter Catch and Marlin Madness have their own collection structures.

When a casino lobby shortens a tile to “Epic Fish”, open the game information before relying on any rule. Record the complete title and Game ID in support correspondence. A shared character, boat or fishing theme does not establish a shared paytable.

Internal links may help readers compare the family, but every numerical claim on this page must remain tied to Adventure’s official sheet.

Pre-publication fact check

Verify the ten paylines, twelve starting spins for all three trigger counts, the one/two/three added-spin milestones, the one-extra-spin Fortified Wild duration, Golden Fish condition, three purchase prices and four RTPs.

Date the product page and game-sheet check. If the deployed help presents a different value, publish the conflict and identify which Game ID was inspected. Do not silently combine old and new versions.

Review the FAQ after the body is updated so its short answers do not contradict the detailed route descriptions. The final page should answer mechanics, version, evidence and market scope without padding the article with unrelated casino advice.

Final settlement check

Compare the complete feature total with the round-specific ledger entry, not merely the account balance. The balance can change through other activity. Preserve the initiating trigger, every added spin and every collection event under one server reference.

If a result cannot be reconstructed from the mobile animation, do not estimate it. Export or screenshot the structured history, note the exact time and ask authenticated support for the server event record. This provides a precise question without exposing payment credentials or unrelated account data.

Verify it.

Official sources

Bottom line: count the trigger symbols first, then apply only the Wild milestone and Golden Fish rules for that route.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Quickspin, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
