Donny Dough — Multi-Dough values resolve from left to right
Lootlines is an ordered calculation, not a simple sum: early multiplying symbols are treated as additions until a later multiplier acts.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Donny Dough by Hacksaw Gaming uses five reels, four rows and 14 paylines. Its Lootlines mechanic evaluates four types of Multi-Dough symbol: adding, hidden adding, multiplying and hidden multiplying.
Lootlines arithmetic
When a winning line consists of Multi-Dough symbols, values apply from left to right. A multiplying symbol that appears before any value it can multiply is treated as an adding value. The provider’s example—3×, 4×, 1× and 2×—resolves as (3 + 4 + 1) × 2 = 16×, then applies to the bet.
Adding symbols range from 1× to 10×. Hidden adders reveal 15× to 500×; ordinary multipliers range from 2× to 5×, and hidden multipliers reveal 6× to 25×.
Sticky Dough and Strike Gold
Three FS scatters start Sticky Dough with ten spins. Multi-Dough symbols remain until they join a winning payline, then disappear on the next spin.
Four scatters start Strike Gold, also with ten spins. A winning Multi-Dough line lights bulbs above participating reels, one per participating symbol, up to four at once. A Donny’s Hat triggers a respin when bulbs are lit and places matching counts of Multi-Dough symbols on those reels. A Hat is assured on the final feature spin. Both bonuses add two spins for two FS symbols and four for three.
Evidence limits
The official page does not publish a numeric maximum cap, readable RTP, stake range or New Zealand availability. Bonus buys are market-dependent and are not treated as locally available.
Four Multi-Dough types
Adding symbols display 1× to 10×. Hidden adders reveal 15× to 500×. Ordinary multiplying symbols display 2× to 5×, while hidden multipliers reveal 6× to 25×. Record the type and revealed value of every participating symbol.
A hidden symbol should not be assigned a value before reveal. Adding and multiplying marks must remain distinct because their positions change the Lootline expression.
The published ranges are allowed values, not promises that the highest amount will appear.
Read every Lootline left to right
Start at the leftmost participating reel and write each value in order. Maintain a running subtotal. An adder increases it; a multiplier acts on the accumulated value to its left.
If a multiplier appears before any value it can multiply, the provider rule treats it as an addition. This prevents an empty initial product and makes reel order material.
Do not sort values by size or symbol type. Their left-to-right positions are part of the calculation.
Provider example reconstructed
The published sequence 3×, 4×, 1× and 2× resolves as (3 + 4 + 1) × 2 = 16×. The earlier multiplying-looking values are treated as additions until the later multiplier has an accumulated subtotal to act upon.
Record the final 16× and apply it to the documented bet unit. Do not calculate 3×4×1×2 or simply add all four values.
This example demonstrates operation order, not a guaranteed line.
A second ordered example
Suppose a line reads adding 5×, multiplying 3×, adding 2× and multiplying 4×. Following the live operation rules, preserve each intermediate subtotal rather than combining like symbols out of position.
The exact expression should mirror the game’s help. If the interface shows brackets or another precedence convention, record it with the deployed version instead of assuming conventional arithmetic.
Examples in the article should be labelled illustrative and never presented as observed probability.
Fourteen payline map
Obtain all 14 numbered line paths from the live paytable. For every Lootline, store line number, reel coordinates and symbol sequence. Visual adjacency outside a published path does not create a valid Lootline.
Several winning lines can share a Multi-Dough symbol. Settle each according to the paytable while avoiding duplicate credit beyond the game’s line evaluation.
The final round history should reconcile the sum of line awards with the balance credit.
Hidden-value evidence
Capture the grid before reveal and the final value after reveal. Give hidden symbols stable IDs so a later animation cannot be mistaken for another object.
An unrevealed hidden adder or multiplier outside a winning line may remain unknown. Do not publish a guessed value from its range.
For support, preserve both images and the round identifier.
Sticky Dough entry
Three FS scatters start Sticky Dough with ten spins. Save the trigger grid, initial counter and every Multi-Dough symbol present on the first feature state.
Multi-Dough symbols remain until they join a winning payline, then disappear on the next spin. Track each symbol’s position, value, participation and removal boundary.
Persistence alone does not increase a symbol’s value unless the live rules explicitly show an update.
Participating then disappearing
When a sticky symbol contributes to a winning line, mark it used after settlement. It remains available for the current calculation and disappears on the following primary spin.
Do not remove it before its winning Lootline is evaluated. Conversely, do not carry a used symbol into an additional later spin merely because its graphic remains during animation.
Server history and the next stopped grid provide the evidence.
Sticky Dough ledger
Use columns for Free Spin number, persistent symbols at start, new Multi-Dough arrivals, winning paylines, ordered expressions, used IDs, counter changes and final symbol set.
Copy unused symbols forward. Remove used ones at the published boundary. Keep cascade or respin animations attached to their primary spin.
At feature end, reconcile all ten-spin settlements and any extensions with the feature total.
Strike Gold entry
Four scatters start Strike Gold with ten spins. Save the trigger grid, initial counter and unlit bulb state above the reels.
A winning Multi-Dough line lights bulbs above participating reels, one per participating symbol, with up to four lit at once. Record the line, reel set and bulb count.
The bulbs are feature state, not cash values. Their purpose is to control the Hat respin placement.
Bulb mapping
Assign one bulb ledger to each reel. When a Multi-Dough symbol participates, mark the corresponding reel’s bulb under the live rule. No more than four bulbs should be counted for one event.
If several lines share the same participating symbol, do not light duplicate bulbs without an explicit rule. Use unique reel participation and the interface state.
Preserve bulb state until Donny’s Hat resolves it.
Donny’s Hat respin
When bulbs are lit, Donny’s Hat triggers a respin and places matching counts of Multi-Dough symbols on those reels. Record bulb count per reel, Hat event and number of placed symbols.
The Hat is assured on the final feature spin. This guarantees the event opportunity, not a particular value or winning line.
After placement, evaluate the new 14-line grid from left to right and reconcile the respin credit.
Worked Strike Gold example
Suppose a winning Lootline uses Multi-Dough symbols on reels one, three and four. Their bulbs light. A later Hat respin places matching symbol counts on those reels according to the live state.
The audit saves the original ordered Lootline, three-reel bulb map, Hat placement and final settlement. It does not add a bulb on reel two merely because another paytable symbol was present.
Actual values and awards come from the tested round.
Free Spins extensions
In both bonuses, two FS symbols add two spins and three add four. Record scatter coordinates and counter before and after settlement.
Keep these counter additions separate from Hat respins, which are nested feature events rather than ordinary added Free Spins.
The public rule does not specify an award for one FS symbol or more than three. Do not extrapolate.
Comparing Sticky Dough and Strike Gold
Sticky Dough is a persistence-and-consumption mode: Multi-Dough remains until it wins, then disappears on the next spin. Strike Gold is a reel-state mode: winning symbols light bulbs that control Hat placement.
Both begin with ten spins and share +2/+4 extensions, but they require different ledgers. A sticky-symbol map cannot replace a bulb map.
Label the mode on every screenshot and calculation.
Bet definition and settlement
Lootline expressions ultimately apply to the bet. Record the complete round stake and confirm its definition in the live help. Do not confuse coin value, line stake and total bet.
For each line, store the ordered expression and result. Sum all credited lines and compare with round history.
The official page does not publish a numeric overall cap, so do not invent one from the highest hidden value.
RTP, stakes and bonus buys
Readable RTP, stake range, default denomination, volatility and maximum exposure are absent from the public source. Collect them from the exact deployment with operator, currency, version and date.
Bonus buys are market-dependent. Do not state that they are available to New Zealand accounts without direct confirmation.
If multiple RTP versions exist, publish only the tested value.
New Zealand availability
The global provider page does not prove real-money access in New Zealand. Verify country terms, registration eligibility, authenticated catalogue and successful launch.
NZD support, payments, verification and withdrawals belong to the operator. Source them separately and date the check.
A demo is insufficient. Do not advise bypassing location controls.
Mobile and accessibility checks
On mobile, all five reels, 14 line paths, revealed values, bulbs, Hat placements and counters must remain visible. Test portrait and landscape modes.
Adding and multiplying types need labels beyond colour. Hidden reveals and left-to-right order must remain understandable with reduced motion. Keyboard focus must reach help, paytable and history.
After interruption, compare mode, symbol IDs, bulb state, counter, balance and round identifier with server history.
Support-ready evidence
For arithmetic disputes, provide the numbered payline, ordered symbols, revealed values, intermediate subtotal and credited result. For Sticky Dough, add persistence and removal history.
For Strike Gold, provide participating reels, bulb map, Hat event and placements. Include operator, version, stake, currency and round identifier.
Never share passwords, one-time codes, private keys or seed phrases. Ask authenticated support to inspect server events.
Session controls
Persistent symbols and lit bulbs can feel like unfinished value. They exist only inside the active bonus and do not make a future trigger due.
Set stake, spending and time limits before play. Do not increase stakes to chase a hidden 500× adder, 25× multiplier or final Hat event.
Understanding order helps verify settlement, not predict outcomes. Use responsible-play controls and stop at the chosen boundary.
Publication checklist
- Use the 14 deployed payline paths.
- Identify adding, hidden adding, multiplying and hidden multiplying types.
- Reveal hidden values only when the game does.
- Calculate every Lootline left to right.
- Treat a leading multiplier as an addition when no prior value exists.
- In Sticky Dough, remove used symbols on the next spin.
- In Strike Gold, map participating reels to bulbs.
- Record Hat placement before settling the respin.
- Keep +2/+4 extensions separate from Hat events.
- Verify RTP, stakes and New Zealand access from live evidence.
Editorial assessment
Donny Dough is governed by order and state. Lootline values must remain in reel sequence; Sticky Dough preserves unused symbols; Strike Gold converts winning participation into bulb-controlled Hat placements.
A rigorous review writes the expression before applying it to bet and leaves RTP, cap, stake limits, bonus-buy access and New Zealand availability unclaimed until the deployed game supplies primary evidence.

Multiple Lootlines on one grid
When several paylines consist of Multi-Dough symbols, calculate each numbered path independently. A symbol can participate in more than one line, but its value remains at the same reel position in each expression. Do not combine all visible Multi-Dough into one artificial super-line.
Create a table with line number, ordered coordinates, revealed values, expression and result. Sum the line results only after each expression is complete. This preserves the provider’s payline model and makes shared symbols traceable.
If the game applies an overall feature multiplier or cap after line settlement, record that as a later operation from the live help rather than inserting it into every Lootline.
Leading multipliers and zero-state arithmetic
The special treatment of a multiplier before any accumulated value deserves an explicit check. At the left edge, the symbol is treated as an adding value because there is no subtotal to multiply.
Record the running subtotal after every reel. This shows exactly when the calculation changes from addition to multiplication. A compact final number without intermediate states can conceal an order error.
Do not apply conventional precedence by moving every multiplication ahead of additions. Lootlines is a left-to-right feature rule supplied by the provider.
Hidden symbol reveal timing
Hidden adders and hidden multipliers should be revealed only at the point shown by the game. Save their covered state, reveal result and final numeric label. If the symbol never participates and remains concealed, its value is unavailable.
For a support query, identify whether the issue concerns the revealed range, operation type or line settlement. A hidden adder and hidden multiplier can show similar numbers but perform different operations.
The article should always pair a revealed number with its operator symbol.
Final-spin Hat assurance
Strike Gold assures a Donny’s Hat on the final feature spin. Record the counter at one remaining spin, lit bulb map before the event and Hat placement that follows.
The assurance does not guarantee every reel has a bulb, the placed Multi-Dough creates a win or a maximum hidden value appears. It guarantees the named Hat event within the mode’s rule.
If the final spin also receives an extension, use round history to determine the terminal state after the counter change.
Version comparison protocol
Keep every tested build attached to its operator, currency and date. Compare the 14 line map, four value ranges, left-to-right operation, sticky removal boundary, bulb limit, Hat placement and retriggers individually.
Archive one complete Lootline, one Sticky Dough consumption and one Strike Gold Hat respin with the help screen. These reference rounds expose later rule changes.
If primary sources conflict, retain both dated configurations. Do not merge a value range from one build with a payline map or RTP from another.
Practical reader decision points
Before play, confirm live RTP, complete stake, maximum exposure, country eligibility and responsible-play controls. During a Lootline, write the ordered expression before reading the credited result.
In Sticky Dough, ask which symbols remain unused and which disappear next spin. In Strike Gold, ask which reels are lit and how many symbols the Hat places. Those questions do not imply a favourable result is due.
After settlement, clear temporary symbol and bulb states and apply the pre-set session boundary. An unrevealed hidden value or lit reel is not stored account value outside the active feature.
Official source
Bottom line: write the line as an expression before applying it to the bet; do not total the symbols out of order.
How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Hacksaw Gaming, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
