Cash Truck — unlock the road before counting the cargo
Winning tumbles open locked positions before Truck Raider turns landed symbols into a three-spin value board with six distinct modifier behaviours.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Cash Truck by Quickspin starts with five reels at height four, twenty base ways and a locked area above the active grid. Winning symbols tumble away. Every winning tumble unlocks three random positions, so the playable height can expand toward seven.
The public source explains the mechanics and a 25,000× cap. It mentions a 96% configuration for feature purchase but does not publish every standard RTP configuration in its readable page copy. New Zealand operator availability is not confirmed.
Second Chance and Truck Raider
If exactly two Bonus Scatters remain after all tumbles, Second Chance Scatter removes open symbols except those Scatters, unlocks three random positions and drops another set. Three or more Bonus Scatters start Truck Raider; each extra Scatter supplies one additional Expander.
Truck Raider begins with three random Cash Stacks and three spins. Landing a new symbol resets the counter to three; an empty spin reduces it by one. When no spins remain, the displayed values are added together.
Six modifier behaviours
- Expander unlocks three positions.
- Booster adds its displayed value to every other symbol once.
- Super Booster adds value when it lands and again on later spins.
- Doubler doubles its own value whenever a landing resets the counter.
- Grabber adds the values of other symbols to itself once.
- Super Grabber repeats that collection on every spin.
Order matters. A persistent Super Booster or Super Grabber can act several times, whereas the ordinary versions act once.
Purchase options and evidence checks
Quickspin states that purchase options are available only with the 96% RTP configuration and may vary by casino. The listed prices are 90× for a standard feature and 350× for a feature guaranteeing a Doubler on the second bonus spin. Do not assume those controls exist in a New Zealand account.
Before play, open the live game help and record the RTP, version, maximum stake, purchase availability and the exact Target Eliminated rule. On mobile, make sure the upper locked rows, remaining spins and modifier labels stay visible.
Mapping the expanding base grid
Each paid base round begins with five reels, four open positions per reel and a locked region capable of extending the height to seven. The starting twenty ways refer to the open 5×4 state. Every winning tumble removes its paying symbols, drops new ones and opens three randomly selected locked positions.
Use a grid map with five columns and seven rows. Mark the initial twenty cells as open and the upper fifteen as locked. After each winning tumble, record exactly three newly opened cells. The locations are random, so a diagram is more reliable than a statement that “the next row” opened; the expansion need not proceed as a straight horizontal band.
Number stable boards T0, T1 and onward. T0 is the original stop. T1 follows the first removal, drop and three-cell opening. Continue until no new win appears. Keep every state under one paid round because tumbles do not consume another ordinary stake.
The growing field changes the possible ways during the sequence. Do not keep using the starting twenty-way label for a later expanded grid. Let the game history calculate each credited result and record the open-cell pattern alongside it.
Second Chance timing
Second Chance is checked only after all ordinary tumbles have completed and exactly two Bonus Scatters remain in the open area. The feature keeps those Scatters, removes other open symbols, opens three more locked locations and drops a fresh set.
That order prevents two errors. First, two Scatters visible before an unfinished tumble chain do not yet establish Second Chance. Second, the clearing action is not a new paid spin. It is a continuation of the original round designed to create another opportunity for the third Scatter.
Capture the last ordinary tumble state, the two retained Scatters, cleared board, newly opened cells and refill. If the refill produces another win, retain its subsequent tumble states. If it produces the third Scatter, record the transition to Truck Raider under the same parent round.
The published page does not say that Second Chance guarantees bonus entry. Its factual promise is the board operation. A review should never turn that extra evaluation into an assured feature.
Truck Raider starting state
Three or more Bonus Scatters award Truck Raider. The game begins with three Cash Stack symbols at random locations and three spins. Each Scatter beyond the third adds one Expander symbol to the starting setup.
Record the final Scatter count separately from the number of starting Cash Stacks. Four Scatters mean one additional Expander, not a fourth Cash Stack. Five mean two additional Expanders. This distinction affects unlocked positions but does not by itself set the value total.
Every symbol in Truck Raider displays a value in multiples of the base bet. Preserve the multiplier shown, not only a currency conversion. The final award is the sum of current displayed values multiplied by the base bet, subject to the published Target Eliminated cap.
The feature uses a hold-and-reset counter. A spin that lands at least one new symbol resets the counter to three; an empty spin reduces it by one. The reset does not mean three additional spins are immediately added to a separate bank. It replaces the remaining counter with three.
Modifier timing ledger
Create one row for every bonus spin with starting counter, new symbols, newly opened cells, modifier operations, value board after operations and ending counter. Because several modifiers update values, retain the order presented by server history.
Expander opens three random locked positions and has no published direct cash value effect in its description. Booster adds its own displayed value to every other symbol in the unlocked area once, on landing. Super Booster performs that addition on landing and on every later spin until the feature ends.
Doubler behaves differently: it doubles its own value whenever a new landing resets the counter to three. It does not double all Cash Stacks. Mark its value before and after every reset so exponential growth is evidenced rather than inferred from the feature name.
Grabber adds the values of all other unlocked symbols to itself once when it lands. Super Grabber makes the same collection on landing and again after every later spin. To audit either, take a snapshot of the other values immediately before collection, sum them and compare the displayed Grabber update.
Do not apply one modifier’s timing to another. A Super Booster repeats a distribution to other symbols; a Super Grabber repeatedly increases itself; a Doubler reacts to resets. These three persistent behaviours can coexist and must be calculated as separate operations.
Worked counter example
Suppose the feature starts at three. Spin one lands a Cash Stack, so the counter resets to three. Spin two is empty, reducing it to two. Spin three lands a Booster and another Stack, so the counter returns to three after the landing effects. The next three empty spins would move the counter from three to two, then one, then zero, closing the feature.
This example demonstrates counter grammar only; it does not predict frequency or values. Replace symbols and amounts with the actual history. If a Super Booster is already active, include its recurring addition on every later spin even when no new symbol lands and the counter falls.
When a Doubler exists, mark whether a reset occurred, not merely whether a spin contained animation. A new symbol is the published reset condition. An existing modifier acting again does not necessarily count as a new landing.
Target Eliminated at 25,000×
Quickspin says that reaching a total win of 25,000 times bet ends Truck Raider and pays 25,000×. This is an early-stop cap. Once the server total reaches that threshold, the remaining counter or empty positions do not imply that the feature must continue.
Record the base bet, accumulated multiplier total before the final operation, operation that reaches the cap and final ledger credit. Do not add theoretical future modifier actions after Target Eliminated. The cap is a maximum model rule, not a likely or promised outcome.
If a currency display rounds values, perform the audit in bet multiples first, then compare the server’s currency credit. This avoids rounding each intermediate modifier and compounding small display differences.
Comparing 90× and 350× entry
The 90× option buys entry with at least three Bonus Scatters. The 350× option also guarantees at least three and specifies that a Doubler lands on the second bonus spin. The extra price is linked to that guaranteed second-spin event, not to a guaranteed final return.
For either purchase, capture active 96% RTP, selected base bet, quoted cost, confirmation, Scatter trigger and initial feature board. For 350×, preserve the second-spin result showing the Doubler. If the deployed help differs, stop and identify the game version rather than forcing the public rule onto another build.
The provider says Buy Feature may not be available in every market. Its presence at one operator cannot prove access in New Zealand or at another site. Natural bonus mechanics can exist even when purchase controls are disabled.
RTP and stake verification
The page connects Buy Feature to a 96% RTP version but does not list every standard alternative in readable copy. This supports saying the purchase build is 96%; it does not support saying every instance of Cash Truck is 96%.
Open live help and capture the active RTP, Game ID, minimum and maximum stake and currency. If an operator page states different values, preserve both and use the game client for the session-specific configuration. Never convert a foreign-currency limit into NZD and present it as an operator rule.
RTP is a long-run parameter. It cannot be used to calculate the likely result of one Truck Raider feature. The source does not publish hit frequency, average expansion size or probability of Target Eliminated, so those figures remain absent.
Exact reference models in the linked game sheet
The currently linked three-page supplier sheet adds exact reference models to the short HTML description. In particular, this original release includes a cashtruck90 identifier; do not substitute the 87% setting from another Cash Truck-series game.
| Supplier identifier | Base contribution | Free-game contribution | Total RTP | Volatility |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cashtruck |
66.82% | 29.18% | 96.00% | 5 on a 1–5 scale |
cashtruck94 |
66.82% | 27.23% | 94.05% | 5 on a 1–5 scale |
cashtruck90 |
66.82% | 23.23% | 90.05% | 5 on a 1–5 scale |
All three reference pages show €0.20–€100 stakes with a €1 default. These do not establish an operator’s local currency limits or identify which model is presently deployed. Matching title artwork is insufficient to choose a percentage.
Each printed component pair sums to its total: 66.82 + 29.18 = 96.00, 66.82 + 27.23 = 94.05 and 66.82 + 23.23 = 90.05. The first and third reference totals differ by 5.95 percentage points, entirely within the differing printed free-game contributions in this table. That arithmetic does not establish a conditional Truck Raider return, feature frequency or a specific implementation change. It simply compares the supplier’s named model fields.
Each reference page separately labels a 25,000× observation in a 100-million-spin simulation. Preserve that sample label beside the value. It is distinct evidence from the current HTML’s 25,000× terminal rule: agreement in the number does not supply a trigger probability, expected waiting time or reason to keep playing until the target appears.
Count reset events before doubling an object
An invented isolated Doubler sequence illustrates why elapsed spins and resets must not be confused. Suppose D already shows 2 bet units and the counter opens at three. Ignore other value modifiers in this worksheet; a real round containing them requires additional operation rows.
| Next event in this example | Counter before | Counter after | D after the event |
|---|---|---|---|
| No new symbol | 3 | 2 | 2 |
| A new Cash Stack lands | 2 | 3 | 4 |
| No new symbol | 3 | 2 | 4 |
| Two new symbols land together | 2 | 3 | 8 |
| No new symbol | 3 | 2 | 8 |
| No new symbol | 2 | 1 | 8 |
There are six spins here, but only two illustrated counter-reset events. The object’s isolated doubling check is 2 × 2² = 8, not 2 × 2⁶ = 128. Two arrivals on the fourth row cause one counter reset in the stated rule, not one reset for each symbol. Their own values still need separate objects in a full board ledger.
The counter’s return from two to three restores a remaining allowance; it does not add three to two to create five. Likewise, the last row has one remaining spin and is not yet terminal merely because the last two outcomes were empty. Another empty event would take it to zero unless a documented earlier cap stops the feature.
These values demonstrate bookkeeping, not a played round or an offer of money. D’s final 8 units are only one object’s value, not the complete Truck Raider award. Sum the actual current board at settlement and use the recorded base bet once. If a Super Booster changed D between resets, preserve that addition at its actual timestamp before applying the subsequent doubling. Do not try to recover a multi-operation sequence from the final 8 alone.
Mobile feature audit
On a phone, verify that the full seven-row potential area can be inspected as it opens. The top locked positions must not sit underneath a header. During Truck Raider, the counter, values and modifier names should remain readable without relying on colour alone.
Test portrait and landscape, open help, return to the same round and confirm stake remains unchanged. If reduced-motion or turbo options exist, ensure history still records tumbles, expansion and modifier effects.
After a connection loss, reload the current round before pressing spin. A server-side tumble or bonus spin can resolve while the animation is missing. Compare restored counter, locked cells and persistent Super modifiers with the last saved state.
Evidence boundary
The provider confirms layout, twenty starting ways, tumbles, three-cell expansion, Second Chance, Scatter entry, three starting Cash Stacks, three-spin reset, six modifier behaviours, 25,000× cap and two purchase prices.
It does not confirm a New Zealand operator, NZD stakes, local eligibility or every standard RTP model in readable page text. Those facts must remain operator-specific and dated.
Symbol-value reconciliation
At Truck Raider entry, list every Cash Stack and modifier as a separate object with position and current multiplier. After each spin, update only values affected by a documented operation. This produces a running board total that can be compared with the server display.
For a Booster landing with value V and N other unlocked symbols, add V to each of those N values. Do not add V to the Booster itself unless history explicitly does so. For Super Booster, repeat the same comparison after each later spin using the current set of other symbols.
For Grabber, sum other displayed values immediately before landing and compare the increase in its own cell. Super Grabber repeats using the current values after each subsequent spin, so its collection base can change as new symbols land or Boosters alter the board.
Keep Expander actions outside the cash subtotal until new value symbols actually occupy opened cells. An unlocked empty location has strategic significance but no published value by itself.
Distinguishing series titles
Cash Truck, Cash Truck Begins, Cash Truck 2, Cash Truck 3 Turbo and Xmas Delivery are separate releases. Shared characters and hold-and-respin ideas do not make their modifiers, purchase prices or RTP interchangeable.
Verify the exact title and Game ID before attaching this rule set. The original Cash Truck is identified by the 5×4 starting grid with three locked rows, Second Chance Scatter, six listed modifier behaviours and 25,000× Target Eliminated rule.
If a lobby abbreviates the title, open help rather than identifying it from thumbnail art. Internal links to sequels are comparisons, not evidence that one paytable applies to another.
Final review questions
Before closing the article against a live deployment, answer: does the base round begin with twenty ways; does each winning tumble open three cells; is Second Chance checked after all tumbles; which RTP is active; are 90× and 350× controls present; and does the 350× confirmation promise the second-spin Doubler?
Also verify how the client orders simultaneous persistent modifiers. The provider descriptions establish what each does, while detailed history establishes the order in a particular round. Preserve both rather than calculating from animation speed.
Finally, check that Target Eliminated settles at exactly 25,000 times the recorded base bet. The cap should reconcile to the ledger without adding unused spins or hypothetical later modifier actions.
Final round archive
Save the initial 5×4 board, every expansion map, Second Chance state if triggered, Truck Raider entry and final value board. Use filenames that include round ID and sequence number so animations cannot be rearranged accidentally.
Add a machine-readable row containing stake, RTP, entry route, Scatter count, starting Expanders, feature debit if any and final credit. This makes later comparison possible without reopening every image.
For modifier-heavy rounds, retain the arithmetic for each persistent symbol. The archive should show why a Doubler changed, which values a Super Booster updated and what a Super Grabber collected. If server history lacks that detail, label the intermediate values observed rather than confirmed.
Close the record only when the feature total equals the account-ledger credit. A visual total alone is insufficient if it cannot be tied to the round and balance movement.
Keep the archived values in bet multiples as well as currency so the calculation remains readable after a denomination change.
Cash Truck 2 changes the tool set, while Cash Truck 3 Turbo adds its own pace and conditions. Use the Quickspin catalogue guide to separate portfolio evidence from casino availability.

Official source
Bottom line: track unlocked positions, the reset counter and repeating modifiers as three separate parts of the feature.
How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Quickspin, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
