Spinions Game Day — follow the ball between Passing Wilds

Two Wilds start the exchange. Each additional Wild adds a respin, while the Wild receiving the ball raises its own multiplier by one.

Spinions Game Day by Quickspin is a 5×3, ten-line slot with Passing Wild Respins, Free Spins and progressive Wild multipliers. Quickspin lists three RTP models: 87%, 94% and 96%. The live help must show which version a session uses.

Passing Wild Respins

Landing two Spinion Wilds initiates the Passing Wild Respin feature. The Wilds pass a ball across the reels, and the Wild that receives it increases its multiplier by one. Each additional Wild landing during the sequence awards another respin.

The important detail is that the multiplier belongs to the receiving Wild. It is not automatically a single board-wide value. For a clean record, capture the Wild positions before the pass, identify the receiver, note the new multiplier and only then evaluate the resulting win.

Quickspin describes this as a sticky-oriented model for longer sessions, but that is product positioning rather than a guarantee about duration or return. A respin sequence can end without producing a profit.

Game Day Free Spins

Three Scatters award ten Free Spins. During the bonus, every Wild becomes a Passing Wild and carries a progressive multiplier. Those multipliers do not reset for the duration of the Free Spins feature.

The official overview mentions a Buy feature that gives direct entry to Free Spins, but its readable feature text does not publish the purchase price. Check the live help and local availability rather than importing a price from another Quickspin title.

The provider also describes a higher maximum win than earlier Spinions games without printing that amount in the public text. Do not turn that comparison into a number unless the active paytable supplies it.

RTP, mobile and evidence checks

The published 87%, 94% and 96% options are alternative configurations, not simultaneous returns. Record the value shown in the exact live session. Operator availability, NZD stakes and New Zealand access are not established by the provider page.

On mobile, the ten-line stake, number of remaining respins, ball path, receiver and each Wild multiplier should remain visible. If animation makes the pass hard to follow, use the history or help screen and save consecutive captures.

Separate the ordinary Respin feature from Game Day Free Spins. Both use Passing Wilds, but only the bonus description confirms that every Wild is passing and that multipliers persist throughout the feature.

Eastern Emeralds Megaways combines Wild values in a different way. The Quickspin catalogue guide explains version and availability checks.

Reading the 5×3 and ten-line board

Spinions Game Day uses five reels, three visible rows and ten fixed paylines. Record the original grid, total stake and winning line numbers before a feature animation begins. The ball pass changes Wild states but does not replace the need to evaluate the documented line routes.

For every award, save the symbol combination, Wild positions and raw line subtotal. Apply any Wild multiplier only according to the server’s highlighted result. A visible multiplied Wild that does not participate in a line should not be applied to that award.

Keep the paid spin, attached respins and Free Spins in separate record sections. They use related characters but different persistence rules.

Identifying the two-Wild trigger

Two Spinion Wilds landing in one base spin initiate Passing Wild Respins. Save both coordinates and their starting multiplier labels. Do not substitute ordinary symbols or Scatters for a missing Wild.

The trigger depends on two actual Spinion Wilds, not on two winning lines containing one shared Wild. Count physical symbols on the settled grid.

Record the transition into respins and confirm that the account is not charged another ordinary stake for the attached sequence.

Wild identity through movement

Assign each trigger Wild an identifier such as W1 and W2. Store its reel, row and multiplier before every pass. If it moves, link the new coordinate to the same identifier shown by the animation or history.

This prevents two Wilds crossing paths from being merged into one board-wide multiplier. The receiver’s own value increases; the other Wild retains the value displayed for it.

If a new Wild lands, create W3 or the next identifier rather than overwriting an existing record.

Passing the ball

During the feature, follow the ball from sender to receiver. Record both Wild IDs and the state before the pass. The Wild that receives the ball increases its multiplier by one.

Do not raise the sender, every Wild or the general board multiplier. Only the displayed receiver changes under the published rule.

After the pass completes, capture the receiver’s new label before calculating the line result. A frame taken mid-animation may show the ball but not the settled multiplier.

Adding respins with new Wilds

Each additional Wild that lands during Passing Wild Respins awards another respin. Record the new Wild coordinate, multiplier, counter before and counter after.

An existing Wild receiving the ball is not automatically an additional landing. The respin extension requires a new Wild event shown by the server.

If two new Wilds land on one result, preserve the actual counter change rather than assuming an addition not shown in the history.

Respin counter ledger

Use one row per respin with counter before, opening Wild states, sender, receiver, multiplier change, new Wilds, counter after and line subtotal. This captures both ways the sequence evolves.

The counter can decrease when no new Wild adds a respin and increase or reset according to the displayed feature behaviour when one lands. Use the actual interface rather than importing a reset rule from a hold-and-win game.

Close the feature only when the server counter reaches its terminal state and all passes and awards settle.

Applying a Wild multiplier

For a winning line that contains a multiplied Passing Wild, record the raw paytable amount and the Wild’s current value. Compare the final line award with the game history.

If more than one multiplied Wild participates, do not assume that values add or multiply without the active paytable. Preserve each value and the server calculation.

The public page specifies how a Wild gains +1, but the deployed help should be used for combination treatment when several multiplied Wilds share one line.

Respins versus paid spins

The Passing Wild sequence is attached to the triggering paid result. Check the account ledger: only the original base spin should debit the ordinary stake.

Record the final combined result and every respin subtotal. A long animation is not evidence of multiple paid wagers.

When the feature ends, verify whether Wild multipliers reset before the next paid spin. Base-game persistence should be taken from the live history, not inferred from Free Spins.

Three-Scatter Free Spins trigger

Three actual Scatter symbols award ten Game Day Free Spins. Save all three coordinates and the opening counter. Passing Wilds do not substitute for Scatters.

The ten-spin award is fixed in the public description. Do not invent higher Scatter tiers or retrigger amounts not supported by live help.

Record the feature transition and opening Wild state before the first Free Spin.

Every bonus Wild is a Passing Wild

During Game Day Free Spins, all Wilds use the Passing Wild behaviour. Assign an identifier to each Wild as soon as it appears and store its position and multiplier.

The ball can move among several Wilds over the feature. Keep the identities distinct so each +1 is credited to the actual receiver.

An ordinary-looking Wild should not be excluded from the pass ledger simply because it landed after the initial feature spin; the provider states that all bonus Wilds are Passing Wilds.

Persistent bonus multipliers

Wild multipliers do not reset for the duration of Game Day Free Spins. Carry each Wild’s closing value into the next feature spin when that Wild persists under the game’s state.

Do not create one combined persistent multiplier. W1 can rise while W2 remains unchanged. The board history must show which Wild survives, moves or leaves.

At feature end, record the final values for audit but do not carry them into the next base-game paid spin.

Free Spin counter and Wild state

For each of the ten spins, store counter before, opening Wild list, ball passes, receivers, multiplier increments, new Wilds, line awards and counter after.

The public page does not describe a Scatter retrigger in its readable feature text. If the live game offers another extension, capture its rule directly rather than inventing one from a different Spinions title.

Keep feature-spin awards separate from any additional Passing Wild respin animation attached within the spin.

Buy Feature evidence

Quickspin’s overview confirms that a Buy Feature can give direct access to Free Spins, but the readable page does not publish a price. Record the live price, confirmation and market availability or leave the price unconfirmed.

Do not copy the 90× price from Eastern Emeralds Megaways or the 150× price from Primal Spirits. Purchase terms are title-specific.

After confirmation, verify that the delivered feature begins with the documented ten-spin Game Day state and save the account debit.

Natural and bought entry

A natural entry is proven by three Scatters on a paid spin. A bought entry is proven by the purchase screen and debit. Mark the route in the feature record.

Once Free Spins start, use the same Passing Wild and persistent-multiplier ledger. The evidence proving entry and the cost remain different.

Provider support for a buy does not prove that a New Zealand-facing operator enables it.

RTP configurations

Quickspin lists 87%, 94% and 96% alternatives. Record the exact value and Game ID shown by the live help. These are separate models, not three simultaneous components of one return.

Do not average them or automatically publish 96% for every operator. Date the check because configuration can change while artwork and title stay the same.

RTP does not predict the number of passing sequences, feature duration or multiplier reached in one session.

Maximum-win evidence

The provider says the title has a higher maximum than earlier Spinions games but does not print the number in the readable page. Do not create a figure from that comparison.

If the active paytable or official sheet states a maximum, record it with the exact version and source. A simulation result should be labelled as a simulation rather than a contractual cap.

Keep Spinions Game Day separate from Spinions Beach Party and Spinions X‑MAS Party, whose limits and rules can differ.

Base-feature worksheet

Recommended fields are round ID, stake, RTP, state, W1 position and multiplier, W2 position and multiplier, sender, receiver, added Wild, respin counter, raw line subtotal and final subtotal.

Add columns for W3 and later symbols as needed. A relational list of Wild IDs is safer than trying to fit every state into one combined multiplier cell.

At feature end, reconcile all respin awards with the server round total and account ledger.

Free Spins worksheet

At the feature level record entry route, opening counter, RTP and stake. For each spin list every Wild ID, position, starting value, passes received, closing value and contributing line.

Carry persistent values only for Wilds the server retains. Do not preserve a removed Wild in later rows merely because its multiplier was high.

Sum spin and attached-respin subtotals, then compare with the feature total.

Worked base respin sequence

Suppose W1 and W2 trigger the feature. The ball passes from W1 to W2, so W2 gains one. Record the settled grid and award. If W3 then lands, add a respin and create a new Wild record.

On the next state, a pass to W1 raises W1 only. Do not apply both W1 and W2 increases to every line.

This example explains bookkeeping without claiming a frequency, starting multiplier or payout.

Worked bonus sequence

Suppose one Free Spin begins with two persistent Wilds. Record their opening values. If the ball reaches the first Wild twice through documented passes, add two to that Wild while leaving the second unchanged unless it also receives.

Carry the closing values into the next spin only where the game retains those Wild identities. Record the raw and multiplied awards separately.

The example does not guarantee two passes or any particular result.

Mobile presentation checks

On a phone, all five reels, ball path, receiver label, Wild multipliers and counter should remain visible. A trail effect must not obscure the multiplier after it changes.

Use completed history if animation makes sender and receiver ambiguous. A final screenshot of several Wilds cannot reconstruct the pass order.

Text labels or icons should supplement colour so individual Wild states can be distinguished accessibly.

Support evidence package

Provide title, Game ID, RTP, stake, round ID, original grid and every respin state. Include Wild IDs, coordinates, sender, receiver, multiplier changes and added-respin events.

For Free Spins add entry route, counter and persistent state across spins. For a buy, include the live price confirmation and debit. Passwords and payment secrets are unnecessary.

Source and market scope

Quickspin’s page supports the layout, two-Wild trigger, added respins, receiver increment, ten Free Spins and bonus persistence. It does not establish a New Zealand casino listing, NZD stake range or local buy price.

The football-stadium hero is original editorial artwork rather than a reel capture. Use current game help and server history for deployed facts and date every operator availability observation.

Closing audit for the ball path

Before closing a Passing Wild sequence, compare the opening and final state of every Wild ID. Each +1 must correspond to a documented reception of the ball. A new Wild that extends the respin counter needs its own identity, coordinate and starting value; it must not inherit another Wild’s multiplier.

Then review each winning line separately. List the multiplied Wilds that actually participated and compare the raw line subtotal with the server award. Do not apply the highest visible multiplier to a route that used another Wild or no Wild at all.

For Game Day Free Spins, verify continuity from one spin to the next: retained Wilds carry their values, while removed Wilds leave the ledger. Confirm the initial ten-spin counter, every attached respin and any extension supported by the deployed help. Finally, reconcile all line and respin subtotals with the server feature total and account ledger credit, ensuring no extra normal stake was deducted after the triggering spin.

Retain the feature’s final Wild map beside the completed history. It provides the clearest evidence that each progressive value belonged to one moving Wild rather than to the whole board.

Verify every pass against the recorded receiver.

Bottom line: follow the ball and record the receiving Wild, because that is where the next multiplier increase is applied.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Quickspin, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
