Wild Bounty Showdown is PG Soft catalogue ID 135. The checked English source is version 1.0 r3, updated 8 July 2025. It uses a six-reel diamond field with 3-4-5-5-4-3 rows, 3,600 ways, collapsing wins, Gold Framed symbols and a multiplier that doubles after successful rounds.

The official model states 96.75% RTP, high volatility, a 29.04% overall hit rate and a 5,000x maximum. The supplier also reports 5,000x as maximum exposure in its one-billion-spin simulation, aligning the two maximum labels for this build.

RTP allocation is 71.03 percentage points to the main game and 25.72 to Free Spins. Hit-rate rows are 28.60% and 0.44%. They do not forecast the sequence a player will see.

The field pays through 3,600 ways

Reels expand from three positions at the edges to five in the centre, then narrow again. Wins are evaluated through 3,600 ways rather than fixed lines. After a win, paying symbols disappear, new symbols cascade and the same paid spin continues.

Each collapse should be recorded as its own round. Note the symbols involved, base award, Gold Framed positions, multiplier before settlement, multiplier after the cascade and whether another win formed.

Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols but not Scatter. The r3 source does not publish individual symbol probabilities, so visual prominence should never be converted into a frequency claim.

Gold Framed symbols become Wilds after a win

During a spin, ordinary symbols on reels three or four may appear with a gold frame. Wild and Scatter are excluded. If a Gold Framed symbol participates in a winning round, it transforms into a Wild after the new symbols cascade into place.

The timing is important: the symbol must have contributed to the previous win before it changes. A gold frame that did not take part should not automatically be counted as a Wild. Compare the pre-win field with the next collapse to verify the conversion.

Gold Framed positions are restricted to the two centre reels. If a loaded version places them elsewhere, preserve the Help screen and round history because that would indicate a different rule set or display issue.

The base multiplier doubles

Every paid spin begins at 1x. When one or more winning symbols appear, the win is paid, replacements cascade and the multiplier doubles for the next round within that spin. The maximum documented multiplier is 1,024x.

This creates a geometric sequence: 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x and onward, subject to continued wins and the cap. It does not mean the whole session keeps the highest number. A new paid spin begins again at 1x.

Do not report 1,024x as a normal result or as the maximum win. It is the multiplier ceiling. Total winnings remain subject to the separate 5,000x maximum.

Free Spins restart at 8x every spin

Three Scatters anywhere award ten free spins; each additional triggering Scatter adds two. Free spins can retrigger.

At the start of every free spin, the multiplier is 8x. If a winning round occurs, the factor doubles after payment and applies to the next collapse within that free spin. The next free spin returns to 8x rather than carrying the prior spin’s peak.

This distinction separates Wild Bounty Showdown from features with a multiplier persistent across the whole bonus. A clear ledger should include free-spin number, opening 8x, each collapse factor, final factor and remaining spin count.

Feature Buy is configuration dependent

The checked source contains a Feature Buy menu. It tells the player to use the price displayed in that menu and does not state a universal purchase multiple.

The document therefore confirms a reference feature, not its local availability or cost. Record live currency, total stake, price, active RTP and feature rules before evaluating an offer. Do not assume Feature Buy is enabled in New Zealand.

RTP, volatility and the 5,000x cap

The 96.75% RTP is a long-run theoretical figure, not a session return. High volatility warns that results may be uneven, but it cannot predict how many empty rounds will occur before a feature.

The advertised maximum and the billion-spin simulated exposure are both 5,000x. The agreement avoids a documentary conflict but does not provide the probability of hitting the cap.

An overall hit rate of 29.04% counts paying events under the model. It is not a 29.04% chance of profit and says nothing about the average award size.

Stake, mobile and history checks

The PDF lists default EUR limits of €0.20 to €100. These are not verified NZD endpoints. The operator’s live bet panel controls the deployed currency and range.

Supported platforms are iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with 1080 by 2340 as the portrait reference. On mobile, all six reel heights, Gold Frames and the multiplier counter must be visible. Disable Turbo when documenting cascade order.

Demo and New Zealand boundaries

This page does not host a demo. Sponsored links are external commercial destinations and do not establish that Wild Bounty Showdown is in their lobby.

Official PG Soft material confirms the title and rules, not access via 22Bet, New Zealand eligibility, NZD stakes or Feature Buy permission. Verify those points after authentication.

Player-fit assessment

Worked cascade example

Take a paid spin that opens at 1x. The first winning combination pays at that starting factor. After the symbols disappear and replacements arrive, the counter should move to 2x. If the new field also wins, that round pays at 2x and the following collapse moves to 4x. Continue the record until a non-winning field closes the paid spin; the next paid spin should return to 1x.

Gold Framed conversion needs a parallel column in the ledger. Mark every framed symbol on reels three and four before settlement and flag only those that participated in the win. After the cascade, compare that subset with the new Wild positions. A framed symbol outside the winning way should not be counted as converted merely because it was visually close to the match.

During Free Spins, start a fresh sub-ledger for each free spin. Write 8x at the top, then follow 16x, 32x and later values only when consecutive winning collapses justify the doubling. When the following free spin begins, write 8x again. This makes the reset visible and stops the highest factor from one spin being accidentally carried into the next.

Save the round ID, total stake and result history with the screenshots. The exercise confirms rule execution but does not test the probability of long chains, the theoretical RTP or how often the 1,024x multiplier is reached.

Also compare the maximum-win stop with the multiplier counter. The 1,024x factor and 5,000x total-win cap are separate constraints: reaching a large factor does not remove the total cap, and reaching the cap does not prove the multiplier itself reached 1,024x. History should label the final settlement clearly enough to keep those events apart.

The game may suit readers who like visible state changes: framed centre symbols can become Wilds and the multiplier follows a straightforward doubling path. It demands careful distinction between the main-game 1x reset and the 8x reset at the start of each free spin.

High volatility and a dramatic multiplier display can encourage chasing. A larger factor still needs another winning collapse. Set fixed limits before play and use the responsible gambling guide if control becomes difficult.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
