Alibaba's Cave of Fortune: Coin collection, bonus spins and RTP
A source-led guide to the 243-way base game, Collector payments, three-spin bonus counter and the settings that still need an operator check.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Alibaba’s Cave of Fortune is PG Soft catalogue ID 1940257, code alibaba-cave. The English information document is version 1.0 r10, last updated 7 November 2025. It describes a five-reel, three-row game with 243 ways, Coin values and Collector symbols that can pay those values more than once.
The documented configuration reports 96.77% RTP, high volatility and a 10,000× maximum win. These are supplier settings, not proof that the game is accessible from New Zealand, accepts NZD or appears in a particular 22Bet account. Local deployment must be checked in the live lobby and help panel.

How the base game pays
The main game uses 243 ways rather than fixed paylines. A winning combination follows the active paytable and stake, so a screenshot of euro cash values should not be copied into an NZD comparison. The useful evidence is the symbol pattern, stake and multiplier shown in the same round record.
The Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols but not Coin or Collector symbols. It can appear only on reels two through five. That position limit matters when reconstructing a disputed result: a symbol on reel one should not be labelled as a normal Wild under version 1.0 r10.
Coin and Collector symbols may appear during any paid spin. If at least one of each lands, every Coin reveals a value from 1× to 10× the bet. The displayed Coin values are then paid once for every Collector on the reels. Two Collectors therefore create two collections of the same revealed set, rather than adding an invisible multiplier to a single Coin.
Bonus trigger and three-spin counter
Six or more Coin symbols anywhere trigger the Bonus Feature with three bonus spins. Four Coins have a random chance to add two Coins, while five have a random chance to add one. Those additions are conditional events, not a promise that every near-trigger converts into the bonus.
Inside the feature, only Collector, Coin, Mini, Minor, Major, Grand and blank outcomes are relevant. Existing value symbols remain in place while unoccupied positions spin. A Collector reveals every stored value, pays the full set and then transforms through its own respin into a Coin or one of the fixed-prize symbols.
After a Collector pays and respins, the counter resets to three. If no new Collector appears, the counter falls toward zero and the feature ends. The reset belongs to the Collector event; merely landing another ordinary Coin does not reset the counter under the documented rule.
The values are explicit: Coins reveal 1×–10×, Mini is 20×, Minor 50×, Major 500× and Grand 5,000×. Every Collector pays all visible values, but the total remains subject to the 10,000× game cap.
A practical collection example
Assume the board contains three Coins showing 2×, 5× and 8× plus one Mini at 20×. Their combined face value is 35×. One Collector pays 35×; two simultaneous Collectors pay the same collection twice for 70× before any subsequent Collector transformation is evaluated.
This example demonstrates the order only. It does not estimate frequency or expected profit. A support-ready record should show the board before collection, each revealed value, Collector count, counter reset and final credited total.
When a Collector turns into another value symbol, keep that new symbol separate from the values already paid. A video or consecutive screenshots can show whether the interface credited the collection before the transformation and whether the new symbol remained for later spins.
Maximum-win treatment
The maximum win is 10,000× the bet. If the combined result reaches that threshold in the main game or bonus, the spin ends. The 5,000× Grand is therefore a component value, not permission for unlimited repeated collections.
High volatility and a 33.89% overall hit rate describe the supplier’s simulation. The hit rate includes 33.50% attributed to the main game and 0.38% to the Bonus Feature. It does not mean one bonus must occur in a fixed number of attempts, and it cannot forecast the next Coin arrangement.
The PDF also lists illustrative Big, Mega and Super Mega frequencies. Those interface labels are not jackpot tiers and should not be treated as fixed cash prizes. The actual cash result still depends on stake and the recorded round.
Mobile and history checks
On a phone, verify that all 15 positions remain visible, Coin values do not overlap and the bonus counter is readable without expanding the interface. The total wager, wallet balance and win amount should remain available before a spin is confirmed.
Interrupt a bonus spin by switching apps, then return. Stored value symbols, remaining spins and credited collections should reconcile with server history. If animation resumes from a different frame, the account history is the stronger settlement record.
Turbo mode may shorten animations but must not change results. Compare a normal-speed collection with the final history entry rather than assuming a missed visual effect was a missed payment.
What needs a live account check
The official catalogue proves product identity and global reference settings. It does not establish New Zealand access, NZD denomination, availability at 22Bet, bonus contribution, local feature controls or the exact minimum shown to a logged-in player.
Before play, match the name, ID, code, PDF revision and live RTP. The euro defaults are technical examples. Record the actual stake range and currency displayed in the account instead of converting those examples into local limits.
No separate demo claim is made here. A provider preview can help identify symbols, but it does not prove real-money deployment or local legality. The sponsored route below opens operator terms, not an embedded game demo.
Audit checklist for one bonus
Start with the triggering board and count Coins before any random additions. Record whether four or five Coins were supplemented, then capture the three-spin starting counter. On every spin, list retained values and mark each new Collector.
For each collection, add all visible values once and multiply that sum by the number of Collectors. Note the Collector’s transformed symbol and confirm the counter returns to three. At the end, compare the component total with the history and wallet movement.
This method distinguishes a collection from an ordinary ways win and prevents a transformed Collector from being counted twice. It also creates a compact evidence packet for support without relying on memory.
Version and correction triggers
Recheck this page if catalogue ID 1940257 changes, the PDF moves beyond r10, the live RTP differs from 96.77%, or the maximum shown in help is not 10,000×. A new cover image alone does not prove a mathematical revision.
If a reader supplies another configuration, record operator, territory, currency, date and visible help version. Keep that deployment evidence separate from the global PG Soft reference rather than silently replacing it.
Reading a near-trigger correctly
Four or five Coins can receive a random addition, but the animation must not be described as a guaranteed rescue. A four-Coin board needs two added Coins to reach six; a five-Coin board needs one. If the random event does not occur, the paid spin ends without the Bonus Feature unless another documented condition is met.
Capture the stopped reels before any addition, then the completed board. This establishes whether the trigger came from six naturally landed Coins or from the conditional addition. It also prevents a decorative flash around a Coin from being mistaken for an extra symbol.
Near misses do not raise the chance of the next trigger. Each completed round should be evaluated from its own history entry, with no assumption that several five-Coin results create an entitlement to a later feature.
Final assessment
Alibaba’s Cave of Fortune centres on a clear but potentially easy-to-misread rule: all visible values are paid for every Collector. The three-spin reset and Collector transformation make chronological evidence more useful than a final-board screenshot.
The primary document supports identity, rules, reference RTP and cap. Territory, NZD stakes, operator availability and any promotional treatment remain live-account questions.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
