Ways, Wilds and collapses
The 5×4 grid evaluates 1,024 ways. After a win, symbols collapse and new results may form. Wild substitutes for paying symbols except Scatter and can appear on reels two through five, not reel one.
For a reconstruction, preserve every cascade as a separate grid and record which reels are involved in each way. This is necessary because Anubis activation is tied to reel position, not simply to the number of symbols on the board.
Multiplier Reel activation
At the start of every spin, the Multiplier Reel reveals a value from 3× to 500× beneath each reel. When one or more Anubis symbols appear on a reel, that reel’s multiplier becomes active and remains active until the spin ends.
At settlement, the total win is multiplied by the sum of all active reel values. If Anubis appears on reels two and five with 8× and 20× beneath them, the active sum is 28×. It is not 160× and values under reels without Anubis are ignored.
Multiple Anubis symbols on the same reel do not activate the value multiple times; the rule refers to one or more symbols activating the corresponding reel multiplier. The evidence should therefore map active reels, not merely count Anubis icons.
Per-spin evidence map
Write five multiplier values in a row, then mark which columns contain Anubis. Add only the marked values and save the underlying total win before the factor. Because activation remains to the end of the spin, a reel triggered on an early cascade can still contribute at final settlement.
Free Spins build a persistent bank
Three Scatters anywhere trigger 15 free spins, and every extra Scatter adds three. Multipliers awarded during Free Spins are added to a bank beneath the reels and remain until the feature ends. Free Spins can retrigger.
At the end of each free spin, the total win is multiplied by the sum of currently activated Multiplier Reel values and the persistent bank. Record those as two separate components: current-spin activation and carried feature total. Merging them obscures whether a number was newly triggered or inherited.
The r3 rules document a Feature Buy menu but no universal price. A loaded client must disclose cost, currency, RTP and availability before it can be described.
Stakes and 10,000× cap
The PDF lists bet sizes 0.01, 0.1 and 0.5 across ten levels, yielding default EUR stakes from €0.20 to €100. These are not NZD limits or operator cashier terms.
The completed spin stops at 10,000× the bet. The 500× reel value is one mechanic inside that settlement, not the total ceiling and not a probability statement.
Mobile and history checks
PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with a portrait reference of 1080×2340. On mobile, confirm that all five bottom values, Anubis locations, persistent feature bank, remaining spins, stake and history can be read.
If the connection fails during cascades, reopen history before another spin. Preserve active columns and the persistent feature total; animations may resume at a later state without altering the server settlement.
Demo and New Zealand boundary
The supplier may offer a preview route, but the sponsored buttons here are not an Anubis Wrath demo. Availability can be restricted.
The global listing does not confirm deployment by a New Zealand-facing operator or 22Bet. Check authenticated access and current terms independently.
Who may prefer this structure
The game may suit readers who enjoy reel-specific arithmetic and persistent feature state. It may not suit someone seeking fixed paylines, low volatility or a single multiplier attached directly to one symbol. A 500× possible reel value does not imply frequent large awards.
Worked settlement: five columns, one final sum
Consider a spin whose Multiplier Reel shows 6×, 12×, 3×, 20× and 8× from left to right. An Anubis lands on reel two during the opening grid, while another appears on reel four after a collapse. The activated values are therefore 12× and 20×. Their sum is 32×. The 6×, 3× and 8× values are visible but inactive, so they have no part in the settlement.
Suppose the ways and collapses produce a combined underlying award of 4.5 stake units before the multiplier is applied. The documented rule gives 4.5 × 32 = 144 stake units. It does not give 4.5 × 12 × 20, and two Anubis symbols on reel four would not double the 20× value. This reconstruction captures two mistakes that can inflate an informal calculation: multiplying reel values together and counting characters instead of active columns.
During Free Spins, add a second ledger line for the persistent bank. If the same 32× current activation occurs while the bank already contains 15×, the factor used for that free spin should be checked as 47× according to the displayed state. Keep the 32× and 15× entries separate until settlement. That makes it possible to distinguish an inherited value from a new one if the history screen or animation is disputed.
The cap remains an independent control. Even when the arithmetic would produce more, the rules say the completed spin stops at 10,000×. Record the capped award shown by the client rather than presenting an uncapped reconstruction as payable. A useful screenshot sequence includes the five starting values, the first Anubis activation, any later cascade activation, the feature bank before settlement and the final history entry.
This example explains the mechanism; it is not a forecast or a claim about frequency. Every spin begins with a new random result, while RTP and hit rate describe long-run model behaviour rather than what the next grid must do.
What to verify after a reconnect
If the client closes while the reels are collapsing, do not reconstruct the result from memory. Reopen the completed round and compare its identifier, stake, underlying award, activated reel columns and any carried Free Spins bank. A resumed animation may begin after the moment when Anubis first appeared, so the history entry is stronger evidence than the visible restart point. If the five reel values or bank total cannot be recovered, retain the round ID and ask support for the server-side record instead of inferring missing numbers.
The same discipline applies to Feature Buy. Its presence in the supplier document confirms a menu exists in the reference build, but it does not confirm a price, local availability or identical RTP at every operator. Those fields must be read from the loaded client before purchase. Keeping the mechanic explanation separate from operator deployment prevents a global catalogue fact from being mistaken for a New Zealand offer.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
