Werewolf's Hunt rules, moon bonus and multiplier evidence
A source-led guide to the asymmetric 10,000-way grid, additive reel multipliers, three rechargeable moons and the limits documented in PG Soft's r4 rules.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Werewolf’s Hunt is PG Soft catalogue ID 1615454. This review uses the English game-information file, version 1.0 r4, updated 8 July 2025. It documents a six-reel collapsing game with four visible rows on the outer reels, five rows on the middle four and 10,000 ways.
The reference build states 96.75% RTP, high volatility and a 10,000× maximum win. These values identify the checked supplier configuration. They do not prove that the title, the same RTP or the advertised bet range is available through a New Zealand account.

The PDF assigns 60.00 percentage points of return to the main game and 36.75 to the Bonus Feature. The two components sum to the published RTP, but neither predicts the result of a short session.
Main-game ways and collapses
A qualifying way uses matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left. The taller middle reels create more possible positions than the two four-row edges. When a winning round is paid, its symbols disappear and replacements fall into the open spaces. Another win can therefore occur without a new stake.
Treat every collapse as a separate round inside one paid spin. The interface may display one final total, but the sequence matters because multiplier symbols appearing during the spin are aggregated at settlement. A useful record has the opening grid, each winning group, each replacement grid and the final server result.
Wild substitutes for paying symbols except Scatter and is restricted to reels two through five in the checked rules. A Wild on an outer reel would therefore be a reason to reopen Help and confirm that a different build is loaded.
Additive multiplier reel values
One or more Multiplier symbols valued from 2× to 20× may appear during a main-game spin. At the end of the spin, all visible multiplier values are added, and the spin’s total win is multiplied by that sum.
If 3× and 8× appear during the same settled spin, the documented operation is 3 + 8 = 11×. It is not 3 × 8 = 24×. Record the win before the multiplier and the visible values separately; otherwise a history entry showing only the final amount cannot demonstrate how it was calculated.
The multiplier symbol is not the same as the Prize Multiplier used inside the moon bonus. Keeping those names separate prevents a 20× main-game value from being incorrectly carried into the feature.
How the moon Bonus Feature starts
Four or more Scatters anywhere trigger the Bonus Feature. The Scatters transform into Prize Multiplier symbols showing 1× to 3×, and the game starts with three bonus spins. Only Prize Multiplier, Blue Moon, Red Moon and Yellow Moon symbols appear in this mode.
Every new Prize Multiplier or moon symbol resets the remaining-spin counter to three. This is a reset mechanic, not three spins added to the current counter. The feature ends when the counter reaches zero.
Partial moon symbols can take up to five bonus spins to become full. Once activated, a moon becomes dark and needs another five bonus spins to recharge. A long feature is therefore governed by both the three-spin reset counter and the individual moon progress indicators.
Blue, red and yellow moons do different jobs
The Blue Moon adds 1× to every value on the reels when it becomes full. The Red Moon absorbs all visible symbol values. The Yellow Moon doubles the values of three randomly selected symbols. These are three distinct operations, so a final multiplier total cannot be reconstructed from the moon colour alone.
For a transparent audit, note the board immediately before a moon fills, the exact values then visible, the selected targets for Yellow and the board immediately after the effect. With Blue, count how many eligible values received +1. With Red, preserve the pre-absorption values. With Yellow, identify the three doubled positions rather than assuming the three largest values were selected.
The rules do not say that a particular moon must complete in every feature. Nor does a partial moon guarantee that enough resets will arrive to finish it. The artwork communicates progress, not a promised award.
Worked bonus ledger
Imagine four triggering Scatters become 1×, 2×, 2× and 3× Prize Multiplier symbols. The starting visible total is eight stake units. A new 2× symbol lands and resets the counter to three, while a Blue Moon moves one stage closer to full. On a later reset, Blue completes and adds one to each eligible value.
The correct ledger keeps the original values, the new arrival, the reset event and the Blue adjustment on separate lines. It should not simply state that the feature became “bigger”. If Yellow later doubles three positions, mark precisely which three. If Red then absorbs values, record whether the interface removes, replaces or visually transfers them in that version.
This method makes a replay useful after a disconnect. A screenshot of the final total alone cannot show whether a moon effect, a new Prize Multiplier or both changed the board.
Maximum win, stakes and Feature Buy
The rules cap the total at 10,000× the bet. Once the total reaches that ceiling, the spin or feature ends. The cap is not a separate prize and should never be presented as a probability or typical result.
PG Soft lists bet sizes 0.01, 0.1 and 0.5 across ten levels, producing default EUR stakes from €0.20 to €100. Those are reference values. An operator may use another currency, restrict levels or omit the title, so read the total wager shown beside the Spin control rather than converting the EUR range into a supposed NZD limit.
The r4 document describes a Feature Buy menu but does not prove that it is enabled in every territory or give one universal price. Capture the price, currency, RTP disclosure and confirmation screen from the loaded client before purchase.
Mobile presentation and history
The supplier lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with 1080×2340 as its portrait reference. On a phone, confirm that the six-reel grid, moon stages, remaining spins, accumulated values, total stake and balance can all be read without depending on colour alone.
After an interruption, open game history before starting another spin. Match the round ID, stake, triggering Scatters, collapse stages, moon actions and final settlement. A restored animation can resume after an event has already been decided server-side.
Demo and New Zealand boundary
PG Soft may provide a supplier preview from its catalogue. The sponsored links on this page are not described as a Werewolf’s Hunt demo. A global catalogue record also does not establish availability at 22Bet or to a person in New Zealand.
Use the authenticated lobby, local terms and the loaded Help screen as separate evidence. If Help reports another RTP or rule version, save both records with dates and treat the live configuration as a deployment difference rather than silently changing the supplier reference.
Who may prefer this structure
The game may appeal to readers who enjoy persistent progress, reset-style bonuses and keeping a simple event ledger. It may be a poor fit for someone who prefers one-stage spins, low volatility or a feature whose value is known at the trigger. The three moons add decisions about observation, not control over the random result.
High volatility means outcomes may be uneven. Set a monetary and time limit before opening a paid version, never chase an almost-full moon and stop when the planned limit is reached. A nearly complete indicator has no memory beyond the current feature.
Paytable and version checklist
Open Help before the first wager and preserve the title, game ID if visible, version, 10,000-way layout, Wild restriction, Scatter trigger, multiplier addition rule and all three moon descriptions. Then compare the disclosed RTP and maximum with the r4 source.
When reviewing a disputed round, rebuild it in this order: stake; opening grid; winning ways; collapses; main-game multipliers; feature trigger; starting Prize Multipliers; counter resets; moon progress; moon actions; final cap check. This order stops a feature value from being applied to the wrong phase.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
