Secrets of Cleopatra rules and multiplier-gamble guide
A source-led explanation of Infinity Reels, the extra-reel multiplier, free-spin supply and the optional wheel that risks the feature to increase its multiplier step.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Secrets of Cleopatra is PG Soft catalogue ID 90. The checked English game-information document is version 1.0 r914 (printed as 1.0r.914 in the file), updated 8 July 2025. It uses Infinity Reels and adds an optional pre-feature gamble that can increase the multiplier step or end the free spins before they begin.
The supplier gives 96.74% RTP, high volatility and an advertised 100,000× maximum. These statements apply to the referenced build. They do not confirm New Zealand availability, operator configuration or a local currency range.

The return model allocates 65.80 percentage points to the main game and 30.94 to free spins. Their hit rates are 21.87% and 0.50%. These values are not a timing forecast, and the document does not break the feature return into separate figures for each gamble decision.
How the base Infinity Reels sequence works
Every main-game spin begins at a 1× multiplier. The field starts with three four-symbol reels and can extend to the right. Every extra reel added increases the multiplier by one. Once no further reel is added, wins are multiplied by the final value and paid.
Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols but not Scatter and is documented on reels two through five. Because an Infinity result can extend beyond the opening width, record the entire field rather than inferring the sequence from only the first visible reels.
The multiplier is attached to one expanding result. A new paid spin resets to 1×. It should not be carried forward because the previous result reached several reels, and it should not be applied backwards to a state that the loaded game has not yet settled.
For evidence, take a screenshot at the opening state, every added-reel state and the final settlement. The rightmost reel explains why growth continued or stopped; cropping it removes the most useful part of the record.
Trigger and starting free spins
Three Scatters anywhere trigger 10 free spins. Each additional Scatter adds two more. Four Scatters therefore start 12, and five start 14 if those counts are possible in the loaded layout. Free spins can retrigger under the documented rule.
The feature begins with a 1× multiplier. Without accepting any gamble, each added reel increases that multiplier by the default step of +1. This is the baseline option and should be shown alongside the riskier alternatives.
The initial spin count and multiplier step are independent settings. Additional Scatters change spin supply; the gamble changes how quickly the multiplier increases when extra reels are added. Neither action guarantees that a free spin will expand.
The optional multiplier-step gamble
Before free spins, the player may accept the +1 step or gamble for +2, then potentially +3 and +4. On each wheel attempt, landing in a green area succeeds and raises the step by one. Any failed attempt ends the entire Free Spins feature.
That loss condition is the central fact. The gamble does not merely return the player to +1; failure forfeits the triggered feature. A clear consent screen should display the current step, proposed next step and consequence before the wheel is started.
Success changes the increment, not the opening multiplier. Free spins still begin at 1×. With a +3 step, the first extra reel would move the multiplier to 4×; another would move it to 7×. It is incorrect to say the feature begins at 3×.
The supplier document does not publish the green-area probabilities in its text extraction or an expected value for each stopping point. Therefore this guide does not claim that gambling is mathematically preferable. The safe factual comparison is between a retained +1 feature and the possibility of a faster step paired with total feature loss.
A decision tree for the wheel
At the first screen, stop and play for a guaranteed +1 step, or attempt the wheel for +2. If the attempt fails, free spins end. If it succeeds, the player can usually accept +2 or attempt another wheel for +3 under the same failure consequence.
After reaching +3, accepting preserves the feature at that step; another successful attempt reaches +4. There is no documented +5 target. Each decision should be evaluated independently, because success on an earlier wheel does not protect the feature from a later failure.
Record each wheel state and result. A final feature at +4 should have evidence of three successful decisions, while an ended feature should show the failed stage. Without that sequence, the absence of free spins can look like a technical error rather than the documented gamble outcome.
Worked multiplier example
Suppose the player accepts +1. A free spin begins at 1×, adds two reels and settles at 3×. The two reel additions each contribute one. The next free spin starts again at the feature’s documented base state unless the client shows a persistent value.
Now suppose the player successfully reaches a +3 increment. A free spin with two added reels progresses from 1× to 4× and then 7×. The number of added reels is the same, but the selected step changes the size of each increase.
If the wheel fails while attempting +4, there is no free-spin sequence to calculate. The previous successful steps do not generate a consolation feature. This is why promotional descriptions that mention only “up to +4” omit the most important condition.
Maximum, exposure and reference stakes
PG Soft advertises a maximum of 100,000× the bet. The file reports maximum exposure of 8,649× from one billion simulated spins. These are different measures: a ceiling and an observed result in a defined simulation. Neither states a personal probability.
Reference bet sizes are 0.01, 0.05 and 0.1 over ten levels, with default EUR limits of €0.20 and €20. They are not proof of NZD support or an operator’s limits. Confirm currency, stake and any account controls inside the actual client.
High volatility and an optional all-or-nothing decision can produce sharp session swings. The 100,000× cap is not a reason to chase a failed wheel. A failed feature does not make the next trigger or wheel more likely.
Mobile presentation and accessibility
Supported platforms listed by PG Soft are iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with a 1080×2340 portrait reference. On a phone, the wheel must communicate success areas and the loss consequence through more than colour alone. Current step and next target need readable labels.
The expanding field also needs a stable left edge, visible rightmost reel and legible multiplier. If animation speed is reduced, the final state and history must still disclose how many reels were added and which step applied.
After an interruption, open game history and match round ID, stake, trigger, wheel attempts and settlement. If the disconnect occurs on the wheel, do not assume the absence of animation means no decision was resolved server-side.
Demo and territorial boundary
PG Soft may offer an official catalogue preview. The sponsored destinations linked here are not presented as Secrets of Cleopatra demos. The PDF proves the supplier’s rules reference, not access for New Zealand accounts.
Verify an authenticated lobby, territorial terms and in-client Help. If a deployment removes the gamble or displays another RTP, document that exact version. A product name alone cannot establish that all features match r914.
Who may prefer the format
The game may suit readers who enjoy growing reel fields and want an explicit decision about multiplier speed. It may be unsuitable for anyone uncomfortable with forfeiting an already triggered feature, or for players who prefer a bonus without a pre-feature choice.
The wheel should be treated as a genuine risk decision rather than an enhancement button. Set limits before play and decide in advance whether the baseline feature is preferable; making that choice under animation pressure is less considered.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
