Rooster Rumble rules and numbered Wild guide
A mechanics-first explanation of Wild durability, cascading multipliers, the eight-spin feature and the exact r9 data to compare with a live Help screen.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Rooster Rumble is PG Soft catalogue ID 123. The English document used here is version 1.0 r9, updated 8 July 2025. Its six-reel collapsing grid combines a general multiplier with numbered Wilds that can survive several winning combinations before disappearing.
PG Soft reports 96.75% RTP, medium session volatility and a 34.31% overall hit rate. The advertised maximum is 20,000x, while the largest exposure found in the studio’s one-billion-spin simulation is 3,158x. In free spins, the multiplier starts at x2 and numbered Wilds begin with more uses than their base-game counterparts.

The four central reels include an additional position, giving a 4-5-5-5-5-4 shape and 10,000 ways. PG Soft describes the product as six reels and four rows with extra positions, which is more precise than calling it a uniform five-row game.
Base cascades and the win multiplier
Winning symbols disappear and the remaining field collapses. If another paying way forms, the spin continues without a new stake. The main-game multiplier starts at x1 and rises by one after each winning collapse has been paid.
Wild appears only on reels two through five and substitutes for ordinary symbols but not Scatter. Because those are the four reels with extra positions, a Wild can participate in many left-to-right combinations while still being governed by its own durability counter.
The multiplier and Wild number are separate. The global multiplier changes the value of wins in the sequence; the number printed on a Wild controls how many winning combinations can use that symbol before it is removed.
How numbered Wilds are consumed
A base-game Wild may begin with 2, 3 or a blank value. If a Wild showing two or more participates in a win, it remains for the next cascade and its number falls by one. A blank Wild involved in a win is destroyed before the next stage.
The source describes the number as the times the Wild can be used in a winning combination before destroying itself. A Wild that does not participate in the current win should not lose a use merely because other symbols paid. That is the practical point to inspect in a recording.
“Sticky” here does not mean fixed forever. The symbol survives only while its remaining-use rule allows it. Its continued position through collapses can influence later ways, but the counter provides a visible endpoint.
Free spins strengthen both systems
Three Scatters appearing anywhere trigger eight free spins. Each additional triggering Scatter adds two, and free spins can be retriggered.
The feature multiplier begins at x2, not x1. Every winning collapse increases it by two. This is a different step size from the base game, where the multiplier starts at x1 and increases by one.
Every Wild appearing during the feature begins with a value of 5. It can therefore survive more winning uses than a base-game Wild. The combination of longer-lived substitutes and an x2 multiplier step is the bonus’s defining mathematical structure.
The r9 cover wording mentions unused Wilds staying and jumping, while the detailed rules focus on counters and persistence through cascades. When checking a visual movement, use the detailed Help sequence and History rather than assuming the marketing phrase creates a separate award.
Worked Wild-counter sequence
Imagine a base spin lands a Wild marked 3. It contributes to the first paid way, so its value becomes 2 and it remains. It contributes again after the collapse, falls to 1 and remains for the next state. Once its displayed value is blank and it participates in a further win, it is destroyed before the following cascade.
At the same time, the global multiplier started at x1 and increased after each paid collapse. Do not subtract the Wild counter from the multiplier or add the two figures together; they control different mechanisms.
In free spins, repeat the exercise with a Wild starting at 5. If a cascade pays without using that position, check that the Wild’s number stays unchanged. A screen recording at normal speed is the clearest evidence because Turbo can hide the decrement animation.
RTP split and labelled win frequencies
The 96.75% theoretical return is divided into 65.82% main-game RTP and 30.93% feature RTP. These components total the model value but do not guarantee matching returns in a session.
PG Soft states a 33.87% main-game hit rate and 0.44% feature rate, producing 34.31% overall. A hit-rate event may return less than the wager, so it is not equivalent to a profitable spin.
The document lists Big Win at 1 in 315, Mega Win at 1 in 1,139 and Super Mega Win at 1 in 1,706. Those refer to standard studio display bands—x20–x35, x35–x50 and x50 or above—not the probability of free spins or the 20,000x cap.
The two maximum labels
Rooster Rumble has a 20,000x advertised theoretical maximum. PG Soft separately reports 3,158x as the highest exposure in a billion simulated spins. The latter is evidence from a particular large simulation, not a revised mathematical cap.
At the reference minimum stake, €0.20 × 3,158 equals €631.60 and €0.20 × 20,000 equals €4,000. These calculations show scale only. They do not account for operator limits, do not establish euro or NZD access and do not indicate likelihood.
A transparent comparison should show both values. Quoting 3,158x as “the maximum” loses the theoretical statement; quoting only 20,000x omits the best published simulation context.
Paytable and 10,000 ways
The official PDF confirms the ways structure and Wild restrictions. Individual symbol awards are displayed graphically, so this article does not transcribe amounts that cannot be reliably extracted as text. Read them from the active Paytable and save the screen with the selected total stake.
Ways connect matching symbols from the left through adjacent reels. A numbered Wild can substitute where allowed. When multiple ways share the same Wild, the live settlement display is the authoritative calculation; do not decrement the counter once per imagined way without checking how the actual client resolves the win state.
That last point is important because the source says “number of times” the Wild can be used in a winning combination, while the animation determines how grouped ways are treated in one collapse. History plus visual evidence resolves ambiguity better than a secondary explanation.
Reference stakes and account settings
The supplier lists bet sizes 0.01, 0.1 and 0.5, levels one through ten and default EUR stakes from €0.20 to €100. Those are reference-package values. An operator may present different wallet currencies and permitted increments.
Record the final Bet Amount rather than multiplying interface components by hand. If NZD appears, the live selector is evidence of the enabled range. An exchange-rate conversion from the PDF’s euros is not.
Auto Spin can be configured with stop thresholds where available. Turbo shortens the reel movement. Neither setting changes the r9 rules, but normal speed is better for auditing counters and multiplier steps.
Mobile layout
PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows and gives 1080 by 2340 as the optimal portrait resolution. This proves platform support from the studio, not local operator availability.
On mobile, check that the four additional central positions are visible and that the number above each Wild remains legible. The remaining-spins counter, global multiplier and total win should not overlap. If accessibility zoom hides part of the grid, return to a view where the full settlement can be checked.
Capture the title and version before a session, then a numbered Wild before and after use, followed by History. Avoid including personal account information in a shared screenshot.
Theme and responsible context
The title uses a cockfighting theme. The editorial artwork on this page deliberately represents mythical guardians rather than real animal harm. Theme preference is separate from mathematical evaluation; readers uncomfortable with it can choose another documented game without losing access to similar cascade mechanics.
Medium volatility does not define an affordable stake. Establish a hard loss limit, time limit and break plan before play. The responsible gambling guide includes local support and control guidance.
No pattern in the coloured roosters, animation or previous outcomes predicts the next RNG result. A Wild counter is a feature state within the current spin or bonus, not evidence that a win is “due.”
No embedded demo or NZ claim
This page does not contain a Rooster Rumble demo. Its sponsored links are external and should not be used as proof of game availability.
The official PG Soft catalogue establishes title identity and documentation. It does not establish that 22Bet currently carries the game, that it is accessible in New Zealand, that NZD is supported or that a particular user may play. Confirm those points in an authenticated lobby and its terms.
An accessible studio preview and an operator’s real-money deployment are different environments. Rules may be compared, but commercial access must never be inferred from the preview.
Evidence checklist
Verify ID 123, r9, 96.75% RTP, medium volatility, the 4-5-5-5-5-4 layout, 10,000 ways, reels two through five for Wilds, base values 2/3/blank, x1 base multiplier, three-Scatter trigger, eight starting spins, x2 bonus multiplier, +2 winning step, Wild value 5 in the feature, 20,000x advertised cap, 3,158x simulation result, live currency and History.
Use the PG Soft provider guide to understand how official files are prioritised. The editorial methodology explains why a model percentage cannot predict one session. Submit source-backed corrections through the corrections policy.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
