Prosperity Fortune Tree rules and Angpau bonus guide
A round-by-round map of the rising base multiplier, three-spin bonus counter, Prize Multiplier values and permanent Golden Angpau additions in PG Soft's r8 rules.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Prosperity Fortune Tree is PG Soft catalogue ID 1312883. This guide uses the supplier’s English version 1.0 r8, updated 8 July 2025. It is a six-reel, four-row collapsing game with 4,096 ways, a rising main-game multiplier and a hold-style Bonus Feature built around Prize Multiplier, Angpau and Golden Angpau symbols.
The verified reference lists 96.77% RTP, high volatility and a 31.19% overall hit rate. It advertises a 20,000x maximum, while the one-billion-spin simulation row reports 1,513x maximum exposure. These values answer different questions and are not interchangeable.

PG Soft assigns 66.04 percentage points of RTP to the main game and 30.73 to the Bonus Feature. The corresponding hit-rate rows are 30.78% and 0.42%. These allocations describe the model, not how a short session must divide its returns.
Main-game multiplier follows a fixed ladder
Every paid spin begins with a 1x win multiplier. A win in the first round raises the next collapse to 2x. A win in that second round moves the third to 3x. A third consecutive winning round raises the fourth and every later round in the same spin to 5x.
The multiplier therefore progresses 1x → 2x → 3x → 5x, rather than increasing without a cap. It resets when the paid spin ends. A useful audit records each collapse separately: round number, winning ways, base award, displayed factor, paid result and next factor.
Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols but not Bonus and appears only on reels two through five. The source does not provide probabilities for the multiplier ladder or Wild placement, so neither should be described as frequent.
Bonus Feature begins with three chances
Three or more Bonus symbols anywhere start the Bonus Feature. Triggering Bonus symbols transform into Prize Multiplier symbols showing values from 1x to 5x. The feature starts with a counter of three bonus spins.
Whenever a new Prize Multiplier, Angpau or Golden Angpau lands, the counter resets to three. This is a reset mechanic, not simply “three extra spins” added to the current number. The feature ends only after the counter falls to zero without a qualifying new symbol.
The record needed here is different from a normal cascade ledger. Save the counter before the spin, new symbols, every displayed value, additions applied, counter after the spin and the running feature total.
Angpau and Golden Angpau do different jobs
An Angpau adds 1x to every other visible symbol and to itself for the current bonus spin. A Golden Angpau performs that same visible 1x addition for the current spin and carries its effect into subsequent bonus spins.
Three Angpau symbols combine into one Golden Angpau. Its prize value is the combined value of those three symbols. That conversion changes both the number of occupied positions and the persistence of the addition, so the state immediately before and after the merge should be captured.
Avoid shortening both symbols to “collectors”. Their documented functions are additions across the visible field, with persistence reserved for Golden Angpau. The PDF does not state the probability of a merge or publish an average bonus value.
Feature Buy is documented, price is live
Version r8 includes a Feature Buy menu and tells the player to use the price shown there. It does not publish one universal purchase multiple in the written rule.
That means the feature’s existence can be verified, but its price, availability and legal status cannot be carried from one deployment to another. If the button appears, capture currency, total stake, displayed cost, RTP and terms before comparing it with a naturally triggered bonus.
Maximum labels must stay separate
The headline maximum is 20,000x. The simulation row reports 1,513x as the highest exposure found in one billion spins. The second figure does not cancel the first, and the first should not be described as observed in the supplier’s stated test.
RTP is also theoretical. A value of 96.77% does not mean a player receives that proportion back from one purchase, one deposit or one session. High volatility signals an uneven model but cannot quantify the next dry spell.
Paytable and stake verification
The active paytable should confirm 4,096 ways, the Wild restriction, Bonus trigger, multiplier ladder and all three bonus symbol types. Save it with the version screen so details are not mixed across builds.
The official EUR range is €0.20 to €100. It is a supplier default, not evidence of NZD limits. Record the live currency and total wager shown by the operator instead of translating those endpoints.
Mobile behaviour
The supplier lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows and specifies a 1080-by-2340 portrait reference. On a phone, the multiplier above the field, the bonus counter and every symbol value must remain legible without cropping.
Turbo mode can hide the order of collapses. Disable it during an audit and use history to reconstruct how the factor moved from 1x to 5x. Platform compatibility does not establish New Zealand or operator availability.
Demo and NZ scope
No demo is hosted on this page. Sponsored CTAs are commercial routes, clearly labelled, and are not evidence that Prosperity Fortune Tree is available after sign-in.
PG Soft confirms the title and reference rules. It does not confirm access through 22Bet, NZD stakes, Feature Buy permission or New Zealand eligibility. Those claims require an authenticated operator check.
Player-fit assessment
Worked bonus-ledger example
Begin with a feature field that has two Prize Multipliers and three spins remaining. If a new Angpau lands, record its own value, the visible symbols receiving the 1x addition and the counter returning to three. Do not carry that ordinary Angpau addition into a later spin unless the live rules explicitly show a different build.
Now consider a later state in which three Angpau are present. Photograph the separate symbols and their values before the merge, then the resulting Golden Angpau. The Golden symbol’s prize should reflect the combined value of the three source symbols. On the following bonus spin, the ledger should show the continuing 1x influence attributed to that Golden Angpau, even if no new ordinary Angpau arrives.
A complete audit line contains: spin number, counter before, starting field, new symbol type, new symbol value, current-spin additions, persistent additions, any three-to-one merge, feature total and counter after. This is longer than saving the final win screen, but it prevents three common errors: treating the counter reset as three spins added, treating ordinary Angpau as permanent, and forgetting that the Golden conversion combines existing prize values.
The ledger is a rules check, not a prediction model. A handful of observed rounds cannot measure how often any symbol appears or validate the 96.77% long-run RTP. Those questions require certified mathematics and a much larger dataset.
This title may suit readers who enjoy tracking persistent state: a short main-game ladder and a more detailed bonus field where Golden Angpau changes later spins. The feature is easiest to understand when the counter and each symbol value are logged rather than judged from the final animation.
It may be a poor fit for anyone uncomfortable with high volatility or tempted to chase the advertised 20,000x figure. Set limits before opening a paid round and consult the responsible gambling guide.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
