Touching-symbol wins

Three or more identical symbols touching horizontally or vertically form a winning combination. Diagonal contact alone is not sufficient under the PDF wording.

After payment, winning symbols explode and replacements cascade into the empty cells. New groups are evaluated until no further win exists. One paid spin can therefore contain multiple rounds.

A clear audit marks the cells in each group, distinguishes horizontal or vertical contact and follows replacements. Merely counting identical symbols anywhere on the 3×3 board can overstate the result.

Multiplier-bearing symbols

Regular symbols may carry multipliers from 2× to 100×. The factor matters only when that symbol participates in a win. A multiplier printed on an isolated non-winning symbol does not create a payment.

When one or more multiplier symbols join the same winning group, their factors contribute to the total multiplier applied to that round. The PDF describes a total from the winning symbols; the loaded history should be used to confirm its displayed arithmetic.

After payment, the total remains above the reels for later rounds within the same spin. Subsequent winning multiplier symbols increase it until the paid spin ends.

Main-game accumulation is spin-bound

The persistent display can make a large factor look permanent, but the base-game total belongs to the active collapsing spin. A newly purchased spin begins a new result sequence.

For example, if an early round establishes 4× and a later winning symbol adds a documented factor, the display updates before later awards. Record each stage rather than applying only the last factor to every earlier result.

The game’s History screen is the authoritative settlement record. A screen capture should include the stake, current total multiplier, highlighted winning group and final credit.

Free Spins trigger randomly

The ten-spin Free Spins Feature may trigger randomly while the reels are spinning. The PDF does not give a Scatter threshold or meter that guarantees entry after a known number of paid spins.

At feature start, the total multiplier is 2×. Multiplier values collected during any free spin accumulate and remain above the reels until the entire feature ends.

This differs from the base game, where accumulation lasts only for one paid-spin cascade. In Free Spins, progress carries from one free spin to the next.

There is no source basis for saying the feature is due after a dry period. Each recorded trigger should be treated as a random event in the loaded configuration.

Reading accumulated feature awards

Separate three layers: the ordinary touching-symbol payout, multiplier symbols involved in that round, and the persistent total already held from earlier free spins.

If the interface combines them in one animation, use History to recover the final calculation. Do not multiply every printed number on the board; only winning multiplier symbols contribute under the documented rule.

The 2× starting factor is already part of the feature state. It should not be manually added again after the game has settled the result.

RTP and hit-rate context

The 96.71% theoretical return is split into 67.98% main game and 28.73% Free Spins. The supplier reports a 29.41% overall hit rate, with 28.77% main-game and 0.64% feature components.

A hit can return less than the stake. The percentages describe a large simulation and cannot estimate whether a short session will finish ahead.

Medium volatility is a relative classification, not a promise of smooth results. Random feature entry and accumulated multipliers can still produce uneven outcomes.

Maximum and stake limits

The maximum win is 5,000× the bet. Once cumulative winnings in a main-game spin or Free Spins reach that amount, the sequence ends.

The cap includes all multiplier-enhanced awards and is not an extra prize. A 100× symbol is also not the overall maximum; it is one possible component inside the 5,000× boundary.

Euro defaults of €0.20 to €200 belong to the supplier file. Local currency, denominations and operator limits require direct account verification.

Mobile checks

The 3×3 grid fits portrait screens, but touching edges and small multiplier labels must remain legible. Verify that the persistent factor above the reels is not hidden by browser or operator controls.

Turn off Turbo if documenting a long cascade. A continuous recording helps identify which multiplier symbol belonged to which winning group.

If a connection interrupts Free Spins, reopen the same title and compare the resumed counter with History and the account ledger. Preserve the round ID and timestamp before refreshing.

Practical assessment

Mr. Treasure’s Fortune is suited to readers who prefer a small grid and cluster-style evaluation rather than paylines. The difference between spin-bound and feature-wide multiplier persistence gives the game a clear mechanical identity.

It is less suitable for someone who wants a visible trigger target for Free Spins. Entry is random in the checked rules, so there is no source-backed progress bar to track.

The most important evidence is the loaded RTP, touching-group geometry and ordered multiplier history.

Reconstructing a connected win

Use a simple 3×3 diagram when checking a result. Shade cells containing the same symbol and connect only edges that touch horizontally or vertically. Diagonal contact does not join two cells into one group. Once a group contains at least three matching symbols, mark any multiplier values printed on symbols inside that winning group. Multipliers on unrelated cells should not be added merely because they are visible on the same board.

After payment, winning cells disappear and new symbols collapse into the empty positions. Draw a fresh diagram for each collapse rather than extending the old outline. The running multiplier total persists through that paid-spin sequence, so the order of qualifying groups matters. A compact record can list the board number, winning cells, contributing factors, subtotal and displayed persistent total. This is enough to identify whether a disputed factor belonged to a settled group.

Free Spins are a random entry, not a Scatter target

The checked version awards ten Free Spins through a random trigger. The rules do not provide a Scatter-count target, progress meter or purchasable shortcut. The feature starts with a 2× multiplier, and collected multipliers persist across the feature rather than resetting after each spin. That persistence is broader than the base game, where the total survives only within the current paid spin and its collapses.

For comparison, save the opening 2× value, each new contributing multiplier and the total shown before every Free Spin settles. If an animation displays treasure that never joins a paying group, it is decorative for that calculation. A replay should be evaluated from connected symbols and the running total, not from the amount of gold shown in the scene.

The base stake is expressed as ten units in the rules, while the documented money range is €0.20 to €200 for the reference configuration. Currency, stake steps and availability may differ in an operator client, so those elements need a live Help-screen check before play.

Verification checklist

  1. Match ID 1799745 and code mr-treas-fort.
  2. Confirm 96.71% in the loaded Help screen.
  3. Count only horizontal or vertical touching groups.
  4. Include multipliers only from winning symbols.
  5. Distinguish one-spin persistence from feature-wide persistence.
  6. Save the round ID and final account credit.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
