Lucky Piggy is PG Soft catalogue ID 130. This guide uses the studio’s English game-information document version 1.0 r5, last updated 8 July 2025. The game combines a six-reel uneven grid with collapses, an increasing win multiplier and a Scatter Wild that remains in place for longer than an ordinary symbol.

The source states 96.79% RTP, medium volatility and a 27.82% overall hit rate. Its advertised maximum is 20,000x, while the highest exposure found in the supplier’s one-billion-spin simulation is 3,687x. Keeping those labels visible prevents a theoretical limit from being passed off as a routine or observed outcome.

The grid has three visible positions on reels one and two, then four on each of reels three through six. Multiplying those heights gives 2,304 possible left-to-right ways. The game is not using 2,304 fixed paylines; symbol position within a reel is less important than appearing on consecutive reels from the left.

Base-game collapse and multiplier

A paying combination disappears after settlement, symbols above fall into the empty places, and new symbols arrive. If another win forms, the sequence continues without a new paid stake. The multiplier begins at x1 at the start of the paid spin and increases by one after every winning collapse.

The multiplier description should be read sequentially. The first paying stage uses the current value, then the win is paid, the symbols collapse and the multiplier rises for the next qualifying stage. The source does not provide a universal maximum number of collapses, so this article does not invent a multiplier cap.

Ordinary Wild substitutes for all paying symbols except Scatter Wild. Both Wild types appear only on reels three, four, five and six in r5. That restriction aligns with the feature trigger and is worth checking if a visually similar build is presented under the same name.

What makes Scatter Wild different

Scatter Wild substitutes for all symbols, including acting as the feature symbol described by its own rules. When one appears during a base-game spin, it stays on the reels until that spin ends. It therefore survives the collapses created by wins within that paid round.

“Sticky until the end of the spin” does not mean permanent across subsequent paid spins. The reset boundary is the end of the current spin. In free spins, by contrast, triggering Scatter Wilds stay for the entire feature and newly landed ones join them. That difference is central to understanding the bonus.

For a clean audit, take a frame when a Scatter Wild first lands, then another after the next collapse. Its position should remain occupied while ordinary winning symbols are removed. History may show the financial result but not the visual persistence, so a screen recording can provide stronger mechanical evidence.

Free spins: trigger, sticky state and extra spins

Four Scatter Wilds appearing on reels three, four, five and six trigger eight free spins. Each additional Scatter Wild present at the trigger adds two more. All Scatter Wilds that started the feature remain stuck until the bonus ends.

The feature multiplier begins at x1. Each paying collapse raises it by one, and the wording of r5 treats it as the feature’s continuing multiplier rather than a value reset at the start of every free spin. Any additional Scatter Wild that lands during the bonus awards one more free spin and then remains on the grid for the rest of the feature.

This creates two kinds of accumulation: persistent substitutes occupy more positions, while the multiplier rises through wins. A newly landed Scatter Wild also extends the counter once. The official sheet does not say that an already-sticky symbol repeatedly awards extra spins; the award is attached to the additional symbol appearing.

To verify the feature, record the number of triggering Scatter Wilds, starting counter, original sticky positions, every new Scatter Wild, the counter change and the multiplier before and after a paying collapse. Those observations distinguish an actual r5 implementation from a generic bonus description.

Feature Buy has no fixed price in the PDF

PG Soft documents a Feature Buy menu and says the Free Spins Feature can be bought for the price displayed there. It does not state one fixed cost in the PDF. The correct editorial approach is therefore to direct readers to the live confirmation panel rather than quote an unsourced multiple.

Feature Buy may be disabled by operator or jurisdiction. Its presence in a supplier rules package is not proof of availability in New Zealand. If a menu is present, examine the selected total stake, currency, purchase price, feature description and cancellation route before confirmation.

Buying access also does not guarantee profit or the advertised maximum. It changes the method by which the feature begins. Any claim about a different RTP for purchased features would need to appear in the loaded Help or another verified configuration document.

Return allocation and feature frequency

The 96.79% total RTP is divided into 63.66% main-game return and 33.13% free-spin return in the r5 summary. That sizeable feature component is useful for comparing models, but it cannot tell a player how many bonuses will occur in one session.

PG Soft lists a 27.20% main-game hit rate and 0.63% free-spin feature hit rate, together producing the 27.82% overall figure after the model’s own classification. These percentages should not be converted into a guaranteed timetable. Random sequences do not owe a trigger because a calculated average interval has passed.

The supplier’s labelled-event frequencies are 1 in 371 for Big Win, 1 in 1,521 for Mega Win and 1 in 2,247 for Super Mega Win. PG Soft defines the respective bands as x20–x35, x35–x50 and x50 or above. A Super Mega label is not synonymous with the 20,000x maximum.

Two official maximum figures

Theoretical maximum and simulated exposure answer different questions. The 20,000x advertised figure is the model’s stated ceiling. The 3,687x simulated figure is the highest outcome in the studio’s one-billion-spin run. The smaller number does not replace the larger one, and the larger number does not describe what was observed in that simulation.

At the reference minimum of €0.20, 3,687x corresponds arithmetically to €737.40 and 20,000x to €4,000. Those examples simply demonstrate the scale. They are not New Zealand payout claims, do not include operator caps and do not estimate probability.

When comparing reviews, check whether a site labels 3,687x as the game’s “maximum.” That shorthand loses the supplier’s distinction. This page preserves both numbers and their provenance.

Paytable and ways verification

PG Soft’s PDF shows symbol values visually rather than providing searchable prose for every pay amount. This review therefore does not reproduce numbers that cannot be reliably extracted from the current official document. Use the loaded Paytable for exact awards and save it with the version evidence.

The stable rule is that matching symbols must connect from the left across adjacent reels. Wild can substitute subject to the exceptions above. After a win is paid, the collapse can create a new combination at the higher current multiplier.

An evidence worksheet can include the symbol, number of connected reels, base pay, active multiplier and resulting award. This is more useful than copying a decorative paytable image without the total stake or version information.

Bet settings, euros and operator deployment

The r5 reference model lists bet sizes 0.01, 0.1 and 0.5, ten bet levels and a default EUR range from €0.20 to €100. These supplier endpoints establish the package configuration, not a guaranteed range for every account.

If the operator displays NZD, record the NZD selector and total bet. Do not translate €0.20 into NZD and call that a minimum. Currency conversion does not prove how an operator has configured its wallet, increments or limits.

Auto Spin can include stop conditions tied to balance loss, balance gain and a large single result. Turbo reduces animation time. Neither changes the written RTP or makes the next outcome more predictable. Readers who use automated controls should still decide a maximum spend and session time before starting.

Mobile presentation

The studio lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows. Its portrait reference is 1080 by 2340 with a 19.5:9 ratio. That supports mobile rendering at the supplier level but does not establish availability from a New Zealand IP address or account.

On a phone, verify that reels one and two visibly have three rows while the remaining reels have four. The sticky Scatter Wild state, multiplier and remaining-spins counter should be legible together. If a cookie banner or browser bar hides the counter, clear the obstruction before capturing evidence.

History is especially important after a long cascade. It should show the final settled amount even when animations are accelerated. Pair that entry with the Help version because a balance line by itself cannot prove which rule set produced it.

No embedded demo and no territorial assumption

This page does not host a Lucky Piggy demo. The sponsored CTAs are external commercial routes and are not labelled or presented as free play.

PG Soft’s catalogue confirms title identity, catalogue ID and studio documentation. It does not confirm that the game is offered by 22Bet, accessible in New Zealand, denominated in NZD or suitable for a particular account. Those questions can be answered only by the current authenticated lobby and applicable terms.

If the title is absent, avoid using a similarly named pig-themed game as a substitute for verification. Compare the exact ID, title and Help screen. Different games can share imagery without sharing mathematics.

Worked sticky-Wild sequence

Assume four Scatter Wilds land across reels three to six and start eight free spins. The four triggering symbols remain fixed. On the first free spin, the current multiplier is x1. A paying collapse settles, raises the multiplier, and the next paying stage uses the updated value according to the displayed sequence.

On a later free spin, a fifth Scatter Wild appears. It awards one additional free spin and stays for the remainder of the feature. Record the counter immediately before and after that landing. If another new Scatter Wild arrives later, repeat the check; do not count the old sticky symbols as new arrivals.

This example demonstrates mechanics, not expected value. It cannot be used to estimate how often four symbols trigger or how long an actual feature will last. A short manual test cannot validate the 96.79% theoretical return.

Fit and limitations

Lucky Piggy may suit readers who prefer visible accumulation: the bonus state can retain Scatter Wild positions, extend the counter and build a multiplier. Each moving part has an observable record, making the feature comparatively straightforward to document.

It may not suit someone seeking a simple fixed-line spin, a feature without sticky state or a published chance for each possible bonus length. The cheerful artwork does not reduce financial risk. The responsible gambling guide explains deposits limits, breaks and support routes.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
