Inferno Mayhem: Wild respins, multiplier sums and RTP

A primary-source guide to the 5×5 cluster grid, one-respin-per-Wild rule, persistent bonus Wilds and the settings that still require a live check.

Inferno Mayhem is PG Soft catalogue ID 1950910, code inferno-mayhem. The current English information document is version 1.0 r4, updated 22 July 2026. It describes a 5×5 collapsing grid in which Wilds can carry factors up to 500×, award respins and remain in place.

The reference build reports 96.76% RTP, high volatility and a 25,000× maximum win. These figures identify the documented configuration; they do not confirm New Zealand access, NZD stakes, availability at 22Bet or the presence of either purchase control in an operator account.

The PDF lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with a portrait reference of 1080×2340. Platform support is not the same as operator deployment, so controls and values should still be checked in the active help.

Cluster pay and collapses

A qualifying group needs at least five identical symbols connected through horizontal or vertical edges. Diagonal contact by itself does not join a cluster. Winning symbols are paid and removed, then replacements fall into the empty positions.

Every new arrangement is another round inside the original paid spin. History should group the initial board, respins and collapses under one round ID. Counting each animation as a fresh wager would misstate both turnover and return.

The Wild substitutes for ordinary paying symbols but not Scatter. Cash values in the paytable scale with the selected stake, so a euro screenshot should not be copied into an NZD article as a universal table.

Wilds and awarded respins

One or more Wilds may land without a factor or with a factor from 2× to 500×. Every Wild that appears awards one respin and stays on the board for that respin. If several appear together, each contributes a respin under the supplier’s rule.

When multiplier Wilds are present, their printed factors are added. A qualifying win is multiplied by the sum before payment. Two visible factors of 10× and 25× therefore create a 35× factor under this rule, not 250×.

The no-factor Wild still substitutes and awards a respin but adds nothing to the multiplier sum. A useful audit records location, printed factor, number of awarded respins and the factor shown in the win calculation.

Free Spins entry and persistence

Three Scatters award 10 Free Spins, four award 12 and five award 15. Any Wild appearing in the feature remains until it ends. The persistent collection can therefore change both substitution and the summed multiplier over later spins.

The document does not describe a normal Scatter retrigger within this version. It instead focuses on Wild accumulation. Do not advertise a retrigger unless the live rules explicitly add one.

The ordinary Feature Buy opens the Free Spins feature at the displayed price. Super Feature Buy also buys Free Spins but guarantees that Wilds appearing there carry factors between 2× and 500×. Neither option is guaranteed to be legal or enabled in New Zealand.

Maximum and exposure

The total main-game or Free Spins result is capped at 25,000× the bet. Once reached, the spin ends even if sticky Wilds or remaining spins are visible. A 500× Wild is a component factor, not the maximum award and not a probability statement.

PG Soft labels the game high volatility. Its 23.26% overall hit rate contains 22.86% main game and 0.40% Free Spins under the supplier’s simulation. Those figures cannot predict when a Wild, Scatter or feature will appear.

Mobile evidence test

On a phone, multiplier labels must remain legible on all 25 positions, and a no-factor Wild must be distinguishable from a 2× Wild. Verify that the respin counter, remaining Free Spins and total wager do not overlap.

Interrupt a respin safely by switching apps, then return. Sticky positions, factor sum and server history should agree. If animation resumes differently but history is complete, preserve both screenshots before judging settlement.

Reconstructing one feature

Draw a five-by-five grid for each spin. Mark Wilds with W, add the printed factor, and number each awarded respin. Beneath the grid write the sum used for every paid cluster.

During Free Spins, carry every retained Wild into the next diagram. At the end, compare component awards, cap treatment and wallet change. This process verifies arithmetic; it does not provide a strategy or alter future odds.

What remains unconfirmed

The global studio record cannot prove access from New Zealand, local currency, 22Bet availability, bonus contribution or active buy controls. A provider preview is not the same as an authenticated real-money deployment.

Match the title, numeric ID, code, version and live RTP together. If the operator displays another build, record that evidence rather than applying version 1.0 r4 automatically.

Distinguishing respins from collapses

Inferno Mayhem can move the board in two ways after the first stop. A cluster win removes symbols and causes a collapse within the same round. A newly appearing Wild also awards a respin while remaining on the grid. The history needs to show which transition occurred because only the Wild appearance increases the respin entitlement.

Label the initial board A, its post-win collapse A1, and an awarded respin B. Continue that notation if the respin creates another cluster or Wild. This avoids describing every falling-symbol animation as a respin and prevents the same component from being counted twice.

When more than one Wild arrives together, compare the displayed counter with the number of new Wilds. The rule assigns one respin to each appearance, but already retained Wilds should not be counted as new on every frame. A video capture at normal speed is often more useful than one final screenshot.

Additive multiplier worked example

Suppose one retained Wild shows 5× and a new Wild shows 30×. The documented rule adds them to produce 35× for a qualifying win while both are on the reels. It does not first apply 5× and then multiply that result by 30.

If the board produces no qualifying cluster, the visible sum does not create an award by itself. Likewise, an unfactored Wild contributes substitution and a respin but does not add a hidden 1× unless live help explicitly displays that treatment. Use the factor printed in the round calculation.

For a support ticket, retain the raw cluster amount, each visible factor and the final credited component. The three values let another person reproduce the arithmetic without interpreting the animation.

Super Feature Buy is a configuration, not a recommendation

The Super purchase guarantees that Wilds appearing in its Free Spins carry a factor from 2× to 500×. It does not guarantee a particular number of Wilds, a qualifying cluster or a profitable feature. The full purchase cost can materially exceed a normal spin.

If an operator exposes both purchase choices, record their prices and their separate help descriptions before selecting either. Do not compare only the maximum factor. The relevant evidence includes cost, RTP if disclosed, number of starting spins, Wild condition and maximum-win rule.

Responsible limits should be set in cash before opening the purchase menu. A sequence ending below its purchase cost is an ordinary possible outcome, not evidence that another buy is more likely to recover it.

Version and correction triggers

Recheck this page if the API ID changes, the PDF revision moves beyond 1.0 r4, the catalogue maximum differs from 25,000× or a reader supplies a live help screenshot with another RTP. Cosmetic cover changes alone do not justify rewriting the rules.

When a numerical setting changes, preserve the old value with its source date and publish the new deployment separately. This gives searchers a usable explanation instead of silently editing history.

The same discipline applies to optional controls. A missing Super Feature Buy in one account should be logged with territory and operator rather than presented as a global removal. Product identity, mathematical configuration and local control policy are three separate evidence layers.

Final assessment

Inferno Mayhem combines position-holding Wilds with additive factors and one respin per appearance. Free Spins extend the idea by retaining every Wild, while the 25,000× cap limits total exposure.

Primary evidence is strong for identity, rule order and reference mathematics. Territory, currency, live profile and purchase availability remain account facts that must be verified before play.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
