Gemstones Gold rules, blockers and revealed multiplier sums
A source-led guide to eight-symbol clusters, cascading rounds, three-stage multiplier unlocks, the six-value Free Spins reel and verified limits.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Gemstones Gold is PG Soft catalogue ID 1671262. The checked English file is version 1.0 r2, updated 8 July 2025. The PDF filename uses singular “Gemstone”, while the game title and catalogue use plural Gemstones Gold; the ID and rules content resolve the naming difference.
The reference describes a 6×6 collapsing board, wins from eight or more matching symbols, 96.71% RTP, high volatility and a 7,500× maximum.

Eight-symbol combinations and cascades
Any eight or more matching symbols appearing anywhere create a winning combination according to the paytable. Winning symbols explode, those above them fall, and another evaluation follows. The wording differs from an edge-touching cluster rule: use the in-game Help’s exact combination display rather than importing assumptions from another 6×6 title.
Record each cascade as its own round, including symbol count and award. A multiplier blocker is removed based on a win above its column position, so the sequence cannot be audited from the final grid alone.
Three values under three blockers
At the start of a main-game spin, the multiplier reel places three values from 2× to 500× at random positions. Every value begins under three blockers.
When one or more winning symbols appear above a multiplier position, one blocker is removed from that value during the round. Three qualifying removals fully reveal it. A long collapse can therefore progress one value over several rounds while leaving another untouched.
At the end of the spin, all fully revealed multipliers are added together. The total win is multiplied by that sum. Values still behind one or more blockers are excluded.
Worked unlock ledger
Suppose the three values are 5×, 20× and 3×. The first collapse removes one blocker from 5× and 20×. A second qualifying win above 5× removes its second blocker, while 20× does not progress. A third removes the final blocker from 5×. If 20× and 3× remain covered when the spin ends, only 5× applies.
If a later chain fully reveals 5× and 20×, the factor is 25×, not 100×. The source explicitly adds revealed values. Keep position, starting value and blockers remaining in separate columns.
Free Spins alter the multiplier reel
Three Scatters anywhere trigger 10 free spins, with two more for each additional triggering Scatter. At the start of every free spin, six multiplier values appear and each has only two blockers rather than three.
After wins are paid, the total multiplier remains and combines with the total from the next winning free spin. Two Scatters during the feature award five more spins, and the feature can retrigger. This creates persistent state that needs a before-and-after record for every free spin.
Do not assume a value is active merely because only two blockers are used in the feature. It still has to be fully revealed through qualifying wins. Also distinguish extra triggering Scatters in the base game from the specific two-Scatter five-spin retrigger rule.
The r2 rules document Feature Buy but no universal price. Check cost, active RTP, currency and territory in the live client.
Stakes, cap and local configuration
The PDF lists bet sizes 0.01, 0.1 and 0.5 over ten levels, yielding default EUR totals from €0.20 to €100. They are not NZD limits and do not describe a sponsored operator’s cashier.
The completed main game or feature stops at 7,500× the bet. A 500× multiplier value is a component, not the total ceiling and not a measure of how frequently the cap occurs.
Mobile and interrupted rounds
The supported platforms are iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with 1080×2340 as the portrait reference. On mobile, the six values, blocker counts, grid, remaining spins, total stake and history must remain distinguishable.
After a reconnect, reopen history before making another spin. Save the initial multiplier positions, each blocker removal, revealed-value sum and final settlement. A resumed cascade can omit the visual moment when a blocker disappeared.
Demo and New Zealand boundary
The provider may supply a preview, but sponsored calls to action here are not a Gemstones Gold demo. A global catalogue entry does not confirm 22Bet deployment or New Zealand access.
The live Help screen should confirm title, ID, r2, RTP and Feature Buy terms. Report a different build separately rather than overwriting the provider record.
Who may prefer the mechanic
Gemstones Gold may suit readers who enjoy persistent visual progress within cascades and precise state tracking. It may not suit someone looking for fixed paylines, low volatility or instant use of every visible multiplier. A partially unlocked 500× is not an award.
Column-by-column blocker audit
Draw six vertical lanes beneath a copy of the grid and place each multiplier value in its actual bottom position. Although only three values appear in a main-game spin, blank lanes still matter because a win elsewhere must not remove a blocker from the wrong position. For every cascade, mark which winning symbols sit above each populated multiplier lane.
If several winning symbols appear above one value in the same round, the wording says a blocker is removed. Do not remove one blocker per symbol unless the loaded Help explicitly changes that rule. Conversely, simultaneous qualifying wins above two different multiplier positions can advance both positions because they have separate blocker states.
In Free Spins, expand the worksheet to all six values and initialise each at two blockers. Add a separate line for the carried total multiplier after the spin. The persistent total belongs to the feature state, while newly revealed values belong to the current cascade sequence. This separation shows exactly what combined with the next winning free spin.
What a useful screenshot sequence contains
Capture the starting board and multiplier reel, each winning combination before explosion, blocker counts after every collapse, all fully revealed values, pre-multiplier total win and final settlement. During the feature, also capture the remaining-spin counter and persistent total before the next spin begins.
A single celebratory screen showing a large factor cannot demonstrate which blockers were removed or whether all values qualified. If support is needed, round ID plus this sequence is more useful than a cropped final number.
The paytable should also be preserved because an eight-symbol win has a symbol-dependent award. The multiplier changes that underlying total; it does not replace the paytable or turn every eight-symbol combination into the same payment.
When the cap is reached mid-feature, use the settled 7,500× entry instead of extending the visible multiplier bank into a hypothetical uncapped value. The rule ends the sequence at the maximum, so an arithmetic reconstruction beyond that point is illustrative only and must not be presented as money owed.
Feature Buy deserves a separate receipt. Save its quoted price and the total stake before confirmation, then link the purchased feature to the resulting round ID. The existence of the button in r2 does not prove that every currency or territory exposes it.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
