Garuda Gems is PG Soft catalogue ID 122. The checked English game-information file identifies version 1.0.r.7, updated 8 July 2025. It documents a six-reel, four-row collapsing slot with 4,096 ways and a multiplier that advances when groups of three Wild symbols have been collected.

PG Soft reports 96.77% RTP, medium volatility and a 25.51% overall hit rate. The advertised theoretical maximum is 20,000x, while a one-billion-spin simulation recorded a highest exposure of 3,136x. They are distinct evidence points, not competing versions of one statistic.

The PDF describes a base bet of 20 despite the 4,096-way layout. This is a wager-unit convention, not a claim that the game has 20 paylines. A qualifying ways win starts on reel one and continues through adjacent reels, with each eligible position contributing to the number of combinations.

How 4,096 ways and collapses interact

With four positions on each of six reels, a full-reel match can produce 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 = 4,096 combinations. Ordinary wins do not need to follow drawn paylines. They need the same paying symbol on consecutive reels beginning from the left.

When one or more combinations pay, participating symbols disappear, remaining symbols fall and replacements enter. The refreshed grid is checked again without deducting another stake. The paid spin ends when no new win forms. A result can therefore include several ways counts and multiplier states while remaining one wager.

Wild substitutes for all ordinary symbols except the Free Spin symbol. The official document limits Wild appearances to reels two, three, four and five. This means reel one must provide the natural starting symbol for a ways win, while middle-reel Wilds can help continue it.

Collecting Wilds changes the multiplier

Every Wild visible during a spin is collected. The multiplier starts at x1. Once the counter reaches three collected Wilds, the multiplier becomes x3. Every additional group of three raises it by another three: six collected Wilds produce x6, nine produce x9, and so on.

The thresholds are cumulative within the active spin or feature state. A single Wild does not mean x1 plus one, and two Wilds do not create x2. The counter has to complete a group of three. That makes the feature auditable: record the starting counter, each Wild collected and the factor shown after the threshold is crossed.

The rule sheet says Wilds are collected during any spin. The safest interpretation is the one displayed by the actual interface: follow the counter across every collapse and use History to verify the final settlement. Do not assume that a Wild has to participate in a win unless the loaded Help text adds that condition; the supplier’s r.7 summary says every Wild on the reels is collected.

Free Spins Feature

Three Free Spin symbols appearing anywhere award ten free spins. Each additional triggering symbol adds two more. Free spins can retrigger according to the checked document.

The feature begins with the multiplier at x1. Wild collection continues: three collected Wilds raise it to x3, and every further group of three adds another three. Because the bonus spans several free spins, the displayed collection state and multiplier should be watched throughout the feature rather than inferred from one final frame.

The r.7 document does not publish a maximum multiplier, a fixed count of Wilds per feature or a distribution for retriggers. It verifies the threshold rule. Marketing claims about a “usual” final multiplier would require evidence not present in the official sheet.

When more than three trigger symbols land, note the starting spin count before the first free spin. If another trigger appears during the feature, capture the symbol layout and counter update. This separates additional starting spins from a later retrigger.

RTP contribution and hit-rate context

The 96.77% theoretical return is split into 70.25% main game and 26.53% Free Spins Feature. These values sum to the overall model return. They do not mean the bonus returns 26.53% whenever entered or that the base game will reproduce its component during a short session.

PG Soft reports a 25.51% overall hit rate, with 25.06% attributed to the main game and 0.45% to the Free Spins Feature. A hit is any qualifying win under the model and can return less than the stake. Therefore, hit rate is not equivalent to a chance of profit.

The document lists Big Win at 1 in 325, Mega Win at 1 in 1,025 and Super Mega Win at 1 in 982. The non-monotonic frequencies may look surprising, but they refer to separate presentation bands: x20–x35, x35–x50 and x50 or above. They should be quoted as supplier figures, not rearranged to fit an expected order.

Advertised cap versus simulated exposure

The 20,000x advertised maximum is the theoretical ceiling stated by PG Soft. The 3,136x simulated exposure is the largest result observed in the supplier’s one-billion-spin test. A theoretical edge case may not occur even in a very large finite simulation.

At a reference €0.20 stake, 3,136x is €627.20 and 20,000x is €4,000 by multiplication. That arithmetic illustrates the unit only. It does not establish an NZD maximum, operator payout or likely result.

Never merge the values into a single vague “up to” line. Readers should be able to see which figure comes from mathematical design and which comes from empirical simulation. Neither is a session forecast.

Worked Wild-counter example

Imagine a paid spin begins at x1. The first grid contains one Wild and produces a ways win. After symbols collapse, two more Wilds appear. The total reaches three, so the display advances to x3. Another collapse produces four Wilds: the sixth collected Wild raises the factor to x6, while the seventh begins the next group.

If the ordinary wins before multiplier treatment were 1.2x, 2x and 0.8x across the rounds, the exact application must follow the factor shown at each settlement. Do not apply the final x6 retrospectively unless History and Help state that the end factor covers all earlier rounds. A frame-by-frame record resolves that timing.

The incorrect method is to multiply x3 by x6 or to treat seven Wilds as x7. The feature advances in completed groups of three, and its display is the authoritative indicator of the factor used.

Stake settings and currency

The supplier package lists bet sizes 0.01, 0.1 and 0.5, bet levels one to ten and default EUR endpoints of €0.20 and €100. These are reference settings. An operator can present another currency, use different increments or restrict some controls.

Capture the final total wager and currency sign together. Do not convert the EUR endpoints and call the result a New Zealand range. Only the authenticated client and operator terms can establish current NZD support and limits.

The generic control section describes Auto Spin and optional thresholds for balance loss, balance gain and a single win. Turbo Spin can reduce animation time. Neither changes the documented RTP or Wild collection rule, and both may be absent depending on deployment.

Mobile evidence checklist

PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows and gives 1080 by 2340 as the optimal portrait reference. A phone screen should keep the six-reel grid, Wild counter and multiplier visible enough to follow a complete collapse sequence.

If the counter is hidden by a win animation, wait for settlement or use History. A useful capture set shows title and version, Help-page RTP, total stake, the counter before the third Wild, the threshold update and final history result.

Technical support for mobile platforms is studio-level evidence. It does not prove that Garuda Gems appears in a given New Zealand account or that every feature is enabled there.

Demo and New Zealand availability

This review does not embed a playable demo. Its two commercial buttons are sponsored routes and are not evidence that Garuda Gems is currently available at the destination.

The official PG Soft materials verify the game rules and mathematical settings. They do not prove New Zealand access, 22Bet availability, NZD denomination or account eligibility. Check the authenticated lobby and current terms separately.

A publicly accessible studio preview is useful for reading Help but cannot establish local real-money availability. Keep the supplier source for mechanics and the operator source for deployment as separate evidence layers.

Suitability and limits

Garuda Gems may appeal to readers who like a visible collection objective that can be audited in groups of three. The 4,096-way grid creates many combination paths, while the counter gives the collapsing sequence a clear state to follow.

It may be less suitable for someone who wants fixed paylines, a feature with a guaranteed final multiplier or a known trigger schedule. Medium volatility does not prevent losses or define session length. Use predetermined time and spending limits; the responsible gambling guide explains control and support options.

r.7 version check

Confirm catalogue ID 122, version 1.0.r.7, 96.77% RTP, medium volatility, six reels, four rows, 4,096 ways, collapsing rounds, Wild restricted to reels two to five, three-Wild multiplier thresholds, ten free spins from three trigger symbols, two extra spins per additional trigger, retriggers and the displayed currency.

Use the PG Soft catalogue guide for source priority, the editorial methodology for statistical labels and the corrections policy if a loaded build differs from the documented version.

FAQ

What RTP does Garuda Gems r.7 state?

The checked PG Soft file states 96.77%. Compare it with the value inside the loaded game’s Help panel.

How does the multiplier increase?

The factor starts at x1, becomes x3 after three collected Wilds and rises by three for every additional group of three.

How many ways are active?

The official specification lists 4,096 ways on a six-reel, four-row grid.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
