Fruity Candy is PG Soft catalogue ID 1397455. The checked English game-information file is version 1.0 r8, updated 8 July 2025. It documents a five-reel combination game whose starting heights alternate 5-4-5-4-5 and expand after wins.

The provider states 96.75% RTP, high volatility and a 10,000× maximum. Its parameter table lists 2,000 to 25,088 ways, while a paytable heading also references 3,600 ways. Preserve the displayed grid and Help definition when checking a particular round instead of treating one number as universal.

The source assigns 68.63 percentage points of RTP to the main game and 28.12 to Free Spins. The split is part of the theoretical model and does not forecast a short session.

How the alternating grid expands

Every paid main-game spin begins at 5-4-5-4-5 rows with a 1× multiplier. When one or more winning symbols appear, the award is settled and an additional row is added while replacement symbols cascade.

Expansion continues through winning rounds until the grid reaches 8-7-8-7-8. No further row is added at that ceiling. Record the five reel heights after every collapse rather than describing the board only as “larger”.

The active geometry changes the available combinations. A maximum ways figure is therefore not automatically the ways count of the opening grid. Use the number shown by Help or the game state for the exact calculation.

Wild substitutes for paying symbols except the Free Spins symbol. The Wild changes combinations but does not itself add a row unless the round wins.

Main-game multiplier ladder

The opening round uses 1×. A win raises the second round to 2×, another raises the third to 3×, and a third winning round raises the fourth and all later rounds to 5×.

Expansion and multiplier growth occur together after wins, but they are different operations. The added row changes possible symbol routes; the factor changes the value of a settled award. Do not apply the 5× stage to earlier rounds after the grid reaches its maximum size.

A useful ledger includes round, five reel heights, active ways count, base combination award, factor and settled value. This makes a long cascade reproducible.

Worked expansion sequence

Suppose the opening 5-4-5-4-5 board wins. Settle at 1×, then expand and cascade. If the new board wins, settle it at 2× and add another row. The third winning stage uses 3×. From the fourth winning grid onward, use 5× while rows continue to the 8-7-8-7-8 ceiling.

Once maximum height is reached, later wins still collapse and use 5×, but no ninth/eighth alternating row appears. A losing grid ends the paid spin and the next paid spin returns to the starting heights.

Free Spins begin with stronger factors

Three Free Spins symbols anywhere award 10 free spins; each additional symbol adds two. At feature start, the corresponding multiplier stages increase to 2×, 4×, 6× and 10×.

The opening feature round therefore starts at 2× rather than 1×. A second winning stage uses 4×, a third 6× and the fourth or later 10×. Keep this feature ladder separate from the main-game 1×/2×/3×/5× sequence.

The rules state that at the end of every free spin, each Free Spins symbol on the reels awards two more free spins and increases the four multiplier stages by 1, 2, 3 and 5 respectively. This is both a duration extension and an upgrade of future stage values.

Tracking feature-symbol upgrades

Start with the stage set 2×/4×/6×/10×. If one Free Spins symbol appears at settlement, add two spins and update the set to 3×/6×/9×/15×. A second symbol in a later spin applies the same increments again.

If several feature symbols appear in one free spin, record their count and confirm the displayed stages after the animation. The checked rule says the increases apply for each symbol, but the live panel is the clearest evidence of processing order and final values.

Do not confuse these stage values with the number of remaining spins. A symbol affects both, but one counter measures time and the other measures multipliers.

Worked Free Spins ledger

Imagine Free Spin one begins with the default 2× opening stage and contains one feature symbol. Settle any award using the current stage, then add two spins and upgrade the four stages. On Free Spin two, use the upgraded opening stage rather than returning to 2×.

If the spin also produces a cascade, advance through that upgraded four-stage ladder while the grid expands. At settlement, log the reel heights, stage, symbol count, remaining spins before and after, and the next stage set.

A final total alone cannot show whether a high factor came from a deep cascade, repeated Free Spins symbols or both. The dual ledger can.

Reconciling ways references

The parameter table lists 2,000–25,088 ways, while the extracted paytable includes a “3,600 ways” heading. Do not silently replace one with the other. It may refer to a specific grid stage or paytable view.

For a live audit, capture the Help diagram and the ways number displayed at each reel height. State only the range supported by the reference until the precise mapping is visible. Never claim 25,088 ways on every spin.

Maximum, stakes and Feature Buy

The maximum is 10,000× the bet. The spin or feature ends when the cap is reached. The maximum is not a separate multiplier and not evidence that a fully expanded board will reach it.

The r8 file lists bet sizes 0.02, 0.2 and 2 over ten levels, resulting in default EUR stakes from €0.20 to €200. This range is higher than many neighbouring PG Soft references and must not be copied to another game or converted into supposed NZD limits.

The rules describe Feature Buy, but availability and cost are operator-specific. Capture price, currency, selected stake and RTP before confirmation if the control is present.

Mobile and history checks

PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with 1080×2340 as its portrait reference. On mobile, verify that all rows of the 8-7-8-7-8 maximum remain visible and that multiplier stages, feature-symbol count, remaining spins and total stake are legible.

After a disconnect, use server history to match round ID, starting stake, reel heights, collapse stages, multiplier set, extensions and final settlement. A resumed animation may not replay every row addition.

Demo and territorial boundary

The studio may offer an official preview, but the sponsored links here are not labelled as a Fruity Candy demo. Catalogue presence does not confirm access at 22Bet or in New Zealand.

Verify authenticated lobby availability, territorial terms and loaded Help separately. If another RTP, maximum or ways definition appears, report that dated deployment rather than generalising r8.

Player-fit assessment

Fruity Candy may suit readers who enjoy growing grids and can track two simultaneous progress systems. It may not suit someone who wants a constant layout, low volatility or short one-stage results.

Set money and time limits before paid play. A nearly expanded board has no memory after the paid spin ends, and added Free Spins do not guarantee winning combinations.

Evidence checklist

  1. Match ID 1397455 and version 1.0 r8.
  2. Record the starting and maximum five-height patterns.
  3. Capture the active ways definition rather than assuming the ceiling.
  4. Settle the base award before adding a row.
  5. Apply only the current stage multiplier.
  6. Track Free Spins extensions and stage upgrades separately.
  7. Confirm the unusually high €200 reference maximum locally.
  8. Save round ID, stake and server settlement.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
