Emoji Riches rules, clusters and multiplier guide

A source-led review of the r939d build: how clusters collapse, why non-winning symbols disappear, when Wild multipliers increase and which figures must be checked in the loaded game.

Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Emoji Riches is PG Soft catalogue ID 114. The checked supplier document identifies version 1.0r939d, updated 8 July 2025. It describes a 6×6 combination game in which five or more identical symbols touching horizontally or vertically create a win. That adjacency rule matters: diagonal contact alone does not join a group.

The document reports 96.78% RTP, medium volatility and a 29.42% overall hit rate. PG Soft advertises a 25,000x maximum, while its one-billion-spin simulation produced a highest exposure of 2,992x. These are separate measurements, not two interchangeable versions of the same promise.

The base bet is 20. PG Soft lists bet sizes 0.02, 0.2 and 2 with ten selectable levels. Those controls combine into the total stake displayed by the client. The EUR endpoints are reference settings only; they do not establish an operator’s currency, local minimum or account eligibility.

An unusual collapse direction

Most collapse games remove the winning symbols. Emoji Riches reverses that expectation. After a win, symbols not involved in a winning combination explode, while the winning symbols remain and symbols above drop into the empty positions. New symbols then enter and the grid is evaluated again. The cycle continues while another qualifying group forms.

This design makes the highlighted group essential evidence. A player watching only the explosion can easily assume that the removed pieces were the winners. To audit a round, capture the grid before evaluation, note the outlined cluster, then compare the retained positions after the animation. Each refresh belongs to the same paid spin until no new win remains.

Wild and Scatter symbols are exceptions to the general removal rule: the checked rules say they remain until the spin ends. Their persistence can influence later collapses, but it does not guarantee that the next arrangement pays. When the chain ends, the next paid spin begins with a fresh grid and no saved state.

Wild multiplier timing

The Wild substitutes for ordinary paying symbols. Every Wild visible on the grid adds +2 to the win multiplier before wins are paid. If more Wilds arrive during a later collapse, their contributions change the factor used for that evaluation. The arithmetic is additive at the multiplier-building stage rather than a product of separate x2 factors.

For example, three contributing Wilds imply an increase of six multiplier units under the documented rule. The exact displayed factor and settlement should still be read from history because a screenshot may be taken before the client finishes counting. Do not multiply x2 × x2 × x2 and report x8 unless the actual Help text explicitly shows that different rule.

The supplier PDF does not state that a Wild guarantees a paying cluster. It can persist on a grid where no five-symbol group exists. Nor does persistence turn the Wild into a collection meter carried to a later paid spin.

Free Spins Feature

Four Scatter symbols appearing anywhere award ten free spins. Each additional Scatter on the triggering grid adds two more. The same persistent-symbol logic makes it important to distinguish the initial trigger from later collapse states: the client settles the complete spin and then displays the feature counter.

The checked document attributes 28.42 percentage points of RTP to the Free Spins Feature and 68.36 to the main game. Those components add to 96.78% across the mathematical model. They are not separate return guarantees, and a short feature can settle below its triggering stake.

No universal feature-buy price is documented in the checked file. A review should therefore not invent a purchase multiple or imply that direct entry is enabled. If a live deployment shows an extra control, its price, RTP effect and territorial availability must be read in that deployment.

Hit rate and presentation labels

PG Soft reports 29.42% overall hit rate, divided into 28.92% for the main game and 0.50% for the feature. A hit can return less than the stake. The number does not mean that almost three spins in ten are profitable, nor does a run without a hit make the next spin more likely to win.

The document lists Big Win, Mega Win and Super Mega Win frequencies of 1 in 284, 1 in 915 and 1 in 1,195. These are provider presentation bands. They should not be converted into the probability of reaching the 25,000x headline because the categories cover much lower thresholds.

Paytable reading

The paytable groups ten regular symbols into lower and higher values, then shows awards by cluster size. Since the calculation uses a 20-unit base bet, the displayed symbol values must be interpreted in the format explained by Help. Copying a coin value from another stake or currency can produce a false payout estimate.

Start with the minimum group of five, check which cells are connected, and note whether one symbol touches two apparent groups. The game evaluates the connected arrangement according to its own engine; a reviewer should not split or merge clusters by eye when history provides the settled result.

For a worked audit, suppose the first arrangement pays 1.4x and two Wilds establish the displayed multiplier used by the client. Record the base cluster value, the factor shown at settlement and the resulting credit. On the next collapse repeat the process from the new layout. Add completed stage returns; do not multiply stage totals together.

Maximum-win evidence

The advertised 25,000x figure is the stated model ceiling. The 2,992x exposure is the highest result PG Soft observed in one billion simulated spins. A simulation is finite, so it can fail to produce the theoretical maximum even when that maximum exists in the rules.

At a hypothetical one-unit stake, the labels correspond to 25,000 units and 2,992 units. That illustration explains multiplier notation only. It does not describe an expected return, operator payout limit or amount available to a New Zealand account.

Mobile and platform notes

PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with a 1080×2340 reference resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. This supports studio-level compatibility. It does not prove that Emoji Riches is enabled by a particular casino, permitted in New Zealand or offered in NZD.

On a phone, verify that the entire 6×6 grid remains visible and that cluster outlines do not disappear beneath the stake bar. The Wild count, multiplier and free-spin counter should remain readable during animation. If an overlay hides a value, use round history after settlement rather than guessing from a partial frame.

Demo and availability boundaries

This page does not host an Emoji Riches demo. The two commercial links are sponsored routes and must not be treated as evidence of game availability. The official catalogue and PDF verify the supplier title and model, while an authenticated lobby is needed to verify operator access, currency and the actual deployed RTP.

A public supplier preview may demonstrate controls, but it cannot establish legal availability or account eligibility. If the title is absent, do not bypass territorial controls. Catalogue contents can change, and an operator can deploy a different approved configuration.

Who may prefer this game

The game may interest readers who like cluster evaluation with a visible twist: winning symbols stay while losing pieces are cleared. Persistent Wilds make each collapse easy to follow when the interface highlights them clearly. The 6×6 grid also gives more spatial information than a conventional five-reel line game.

It may be less suitable for someone who prefers fixed lines, a single settlement per spin or a feature with a documented purchase price. The bright presentation does not reduce random risk. Set money and time limits before launch; the responsible gambling guide explains practical controls.

Version checklist

Confirm ID 114, version 1.0r939d, the 6×6 layout, five-symbol adjacency threshold, reverse collapse behaviour, persistent Wild and Scatter symbols, +2 Wild contribution, four-Scatter trigger, ten starting spins, 96.78% RTP and medium volatility. Also record the actual currency, total stake and operator domain.

FAQ

What RTP does Emoji Riches r939d state?

The official document states 96.78%. The live Help panel remains the final configuration check.

What creates a win?

Five or more matching symbols must touch horizontally or vertically. Diagonal-only contact does not qualify.

What is unusual about the collapse?

Non-winning symbols explode while symbols involved in wins stay. Wild and Scatter symbols remain until the spin ends.

How many free spins start the feature?

Four Scatters award ten spins, and every extra triggering Scatter adds two.

Is it confirmed in New Zealand?

No. Supplier evidence verifies the game, not operator or territorial availability.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
