Doomsday Rampage rules, multiplier wheels and RTP
A source-based explanation of Power Clamp counts, wheel upgrades, multipliers from 2× to 100×, the PDF/catalogue RTP conflict and settlement checks.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Doomsday Rampage is PG Soft catalogue ID 1827457, code doomsday-rampg. The English information file is version 1.0 r4, updated 8 July 2025. It has five columns and only one row, then uses Power Clamps on winning symbols to select one of three multiplier wheels.
The PDF states 96.75% RTP, while current catalogue data returned 96.76%. Both sources list medium volatility and a 5,000× cap. The active Help screen is needed to establish which RTP profile is deployed.

One row changes how combinations are read
Any combination of three or more matching symbols appearing anywhere on the five-position row forms a win. The symbols do not need to be described as a conventional left-to-right payline in the PDF.
Winning symbols disappear and replacements can create another round inside the same spin. A Power Clamp matters only during a winning spin, so count clamps attached to symbols that participate in the settled win rather than every decorative device seen during animation.
The paytable sets the ordinary symbol value. A wheel multiplies that reel win; it does not replace the need for a qualifying match.
Three Clamps activate the green wheel
Exactly three qualifying Power Clamp symbols activate the Green Multiplier Wheel. Its outcomes are 2×, 3×, 5×, 10× or Level Up.
If a numeric segment is selected, the reel win is multiplied before payment. If Level Up appears, the Purple wheel activates instead. The upgrade is a new wheel selection, not an additional green numeric factor.
Capture the Clamp count, original win and segment selected. This allows the final cash credit to be reproduced.
Four Clamps use purple
Four qualifying Clamps directly activate the Purple Multiplier Wheel. It can award 10×, 15×, 20× or 30×, or show Level Up to move to red.
Purple can therefore be reached either from a four-Clamp result or an upgrade from green. The route does not alter the listed purple segments, although the screen history may label the event differently.
Do not add a green factor to a purple factor when green landed on Level Up. The documented rule describes progression to the next wheel.
Five Clamps reach red
Five qualifying Clamps activate the Red Multiplier Wheel, whose values are 30×, 50×, 80× and 100×. Red can also follow Purple’s Level Up segment.
There is no further wheel above red in version 1.0 r4. The selected red value multiplies the win on the row before payment and remains subject to the 5,000× total cap.
The catalogue description loosely says three or more Clamps activate the wheel; the PDF supplies the exact three-, four- and five-Clamp mapping. The versioned rules are the stronger source for mechanics.
Worked wheel examples
A 4× ordinary row win with three Clamps and a green result of 5× settles at 20× before any overall cap. If green lands on Level Up and purple selects 15×, the applied wheel factor is 15× under the documented progression.
A five-Clamp 60× base result with a 100× red segment would mathematically produce 6,000×, but the game limit stops settlement at 5,000×. The example explains the cap; it does not predict frequency.
Keep cash denomination separate from bet multipliers. At a total bet of $1, a 20× result corresponds to $20, but only the loaded game can establish currency and exact stake.
The RTP conflict should remain visible
Version 1.0 r4 prints 96.75%, while the audited catalogue entry reports 96.76%. A one-hundredth percentage-point difference should not be hidden by rounding both to 96.8%.
If the game Help screen shows 96.75%, record it as the PDF-aligned profile. If it shows 96.76%, record the catalogue-aligned configuration. If no return value is provided, mark it unavailable rather than assuming the higher figure.
The PDF gives no component split because this game has no separate Free Spins feature. Its overall simulated hit rate is 30.67%. That rate includes any qualifying hit, including awards smaller than the stake.
Maximum win and stake evidence
The reference maximum is 5,000× the bet. Once cumulative winnings in the main-game spin reach the cap, the spin ends.
The PDF’s €0.20–€200 range is a supplier default, not proof of local currency or operator limits. Open the bet menu and capture denomination, level, total stake and maximum before comparing cash outcomes.
There is no documented Feature Buy or Free Spins mode in this version. A third-party page advertising one should not override the primary rules file.
Mobile and animation audit
The single row is easy to fit on a phone, but Clamp icons and wheel segment labels must remain legible. Confirm the colour as well as the wheel name because display filters can make purple and red look similar.
Turbo shortens the collapse and wheel presentation without changing the result. Disable it for evidence collection and capture from the winning row through the selected segment to final credit.
If a connection fails while the wheel spins, reopen the game and consult History. The server result may already exist even when the visual wheel did not finish locally.
Practical assessment
Doomsday Rampage is mechanically narrower than most multi-feature games. Its entire decision tree can be understood through winning symbols, attached Clamps and one of three wheels.
That simplicity makes it suitable for readers who want a compact board with visible multiplier logic. It is not a separate-wheel game in which the multiplier triggers without a reel win.
The primary due-diligence issue is configuration identity: the PDF and catalogue RTP differ, so the loaded Help value deserves a dated screenshot.
Reading the wheel without skipping a step
Doomsday Rampage resolves on a single-row board, but the wheel is conditional. First identify a paying set of at least three matching symbols anywhere on the five positions. Then count how many Power Clamps belong to that winning spin. Three Clamps lead to the green wheel, four to the purple wheel and five to the red wheel. A wheel graphic appearing in an animation is not enough evidence by itself; the qualifying result and Clamp count should exist in the same round record.
The green wheel can show 2×, 3×, 5× or 10×, or advance through Level Up. The purple wheel raises the cash choices to 10×, 15×, 20× or 30× and can also advance. The red wheel is the final cash tier with 30×, 50×, 80× or 100×. Treat Level Up as movement to the next tier, not as an extra multiplier to be multiplied by the eventual segment. This prevents a common overstatement when a replay contains both an upgrade and a cash value.
The two official supplier surfaces currently disagree by 0.01 percentage points: the dated rules PDF displays 96.75%, while the current catalogue record displays 96.76%. Neither value should silently replace the other. The loaded game’s Help panel is the operational reference for a session, and a screenshot should include the game ID or title, RTP line and date. If the client shows a third value, document it as a separate configuration rather than averaging the numbers.
No Free Spins or purchasable feature is described in the checked rules. Readers should therefore avoid importing terminology from other PG Soft titles merely because the interface or promotional artwork looks familiar.
Audit checklist
- Match ID 1827457 and code

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
