Diner Delights rules and multiplier-carry guide
A precise review of the eight-symbol win threshold, additive multiplier settlement, Free Spins carry-over and the Feature Buy wording documented in PG Soft's r3 source.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Diner Delights is PG Soft catalogue ID 1372643. The English game-information file checked here is version 1.0 r3, updated 8 July 2025. It documents a 6-by-6 collapsing field, wins from eight or more matching symbols, multiplier symbols valued from 2× to 5× and a Free Spins rule that carries the total multiplier between winning feature spins.
The official reference gives 96.75% RTP, medium volatility and a 5,000× advertised maximum. A separate row reports 2,989× as maximum exposure found in one billion simulated spins. Both labels are retained because neither should silently replace the other.

PG Soft splits RTP into 71.61 percentage points for the main game and 25.14 for Free Spins. The associated hit-rate rows are 28.09% and 0.45%. They describe the reference mathematics, not the expected order of wins in one session.
Eight matching symbols win anywhere
Any group of eight or more matching symbols appearing anywhere on the 6-by-6 field forms a winning combination. The official wording does not require a fixed payline. After a round pays, winning symbols explode, replacements cascade and the game checks the field again.
Additional winning combinations continue within the same paid spin until no more qualify. A useful record gives each collapse its own row: symbol, count, base award, multiplier symbols visible, factor used and field after removal.
Do not assume an adjacent-cluster rule from another grid title. The r3 paytable wording says matching symbols “appear anywhere”. The live Help illustration should be retained because it shows how the deployed client groups positions for settlement.
Multiplier symbols are added, not multiplied
One or more Multiplier symbols valued from 2× to 5× may appear during any spin. At the end of the spin, the values of all Multiplier symbols on the field are added together. The total win for that spin is then multiplied by the resulting sum.
If 2×, 3× and 5× symbols remain, the documented combined factor is 10×, not 30×. The rule links settlement to the end of the spin, so preserve the final field before the values disappear and compare it with the result panel.
The wording does not publish probabilities for 2×, 3×, 4× or 5×. A review cannot responsibly label 5× common or estimate an average factor without distribution data.
Free Spins carry the total to the next winning spin
Three Scatters anywhere award ten free spins. Each additional Scatter in the trigger adds two. During the feature, two Scatters appearing anywhere award five additional spins, and retriggering is allowed.
At the end of every free spin that contains wins, visible Multiplier symbols are added and the free spin total is multiplied by that combined value. After payment, the total multiplier remains until it is combined with the multiplier sum from the next winning free spin.
The word “winning” matters. If a free spin has no win, do not invent a new multiplier contribution. Preserve the carried value and use the live counter to see whether the non-winning spin leaves it untouched.
For example, if a winning free spin settles with a 5× total and the next winning free spin contains multiplier symbols totalling 7×, the interface should show how the existing and new totals combine. The source says they are combined but the safest arithmetic evidence remains the deployed calculation panel.
A feature ledger should record spin number, carried factor before the field, multiplier values on the field, new sum, displayed combined factor, win, factor retained afterwards and remaining spin count.
That sequence also helps separate a genuine carry-over from a fresh field multiplier. Without both the before-and-after counters, a screenshot of the final award cannot show which part came from the earlier winning spin.
Feature Buy exists, but no universal price is stated
Version r3 includes a Feature Buy menu. The rule tells the player to use the price displayed in the active menu and does not publish one fixed purchase multiple in the text.
This page therefore confirms only that the reference document describes Feature Buy. It does not claim the option is lawful or accessible in New Zealand, available through 22Bet, or priced identically across deployments.
If a client shows the menu, capture cost, total stake, currency, active RTP and rules before comparing it with a naturally triggered feature. A marketing screenshot is not enough to establish the local terms.
Maximum labels and model statistics
The advertised maximum is 5,000× while the one-billion-spin simulation row reports 2,989×. The difference is documentary, not something to solve by averaging the values. One is a headline ceiling; the other is the highest exposure reported for the simulation.
RTP of 96.75% is theoretical long-run return for the named model, not a guarantee for one deposit or session. The 28.54% hit rate does not state average win size and cannot be treated as a 28.54% chance of profit on each spin.
Medium volatility is a broad supplier category. Persistent feature multipliers can still produce uneven short-run results, and a larger carried factor does not guarantee that a later free spin will win.
Paytable and stake checks
The active paytable should show the eight-symbol threshold, individual symbol tiers, Scatter rules, multiplier-value range and maximum clause. Capture it with the RTP page and total stake so all evidence belongs to the same build.
The PDF lists EUR €0.20 to €100 as default endpoints. These do not prove NZD limits. Record the live currency and total wager rather than converting supplier defaults into an assumed operator range.
Mobile verification
PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows and gives 1080 by 2340 as the portrait reference. That establishes intended platforms but not territorial availability.
On mobile, all 36 positions should remain visible and 2×-5× values must be readable without zoom. Check whether the feature screen keeps the carried total visible after a non-winning free spin and whether history shows both the field sum and combined factor.
Turbo mode shortens collapse animations. Turn it off when checking which multiplier symbols survived to the final field and when the feature total changed.
Demo and New Zealand limits
This article does not host a Diner Delights demo. Sponsored buttons are external commercial routes and are labelled accordingly. A working redirect does not prove the game or Feature Buy is available to an account.
The official studio sources do not confirm New Zealand access, 22Bet deployment, NZD stakes or local purchase rules. Those require an authenticated lobby, current Help and local terms.
Player-fit assessment
Diner Delights may suit readers who prefer one clear calculation at the end of a spin: add the visible multiplier values, then check the displayed total. The Free Spins carry rule introduces more state because one winning feature round affects the next winning round.
Do not increase stake because a carried multiplier looks valuable. A stored factor does not guarantee another winning field. Set time and spending limits before play and use the responsible gambling guide for practical controls.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
