Destiny of Sun & Moon rules and dual-multiplier guide
A practical reading of left-to-right and right-to-left wins, separate celestial multipliers, collapsing rounds, free spins and the exact r4 statistics worth checking in Help.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Destiny of Sun & Moon is PG Soft catalogue ID 121. This guide uses the studio’s English version 1.0.r4 game-information file, updated 8 July 2025. The game places six reels in a stepped shape: reels one and six have two positions, reels two and five have three, and the central reels have four. Winning combinations can run from either edge.
The source states 96.80% RTP, medium volatility and a 29.24% overall hit rate. Its advertised maximum is 20,000x; the highest result found in one billion simulated spins was 3,913x. Keeping the two figures apart prevents a theoretical limit from being presented as a typical or observed result.

The base bet shown in the PDF is 20, although the model settles 576 ways. That number is a wager-unit reference, not a count of paylines. The active combination system remains a ways model, with matching symbols required on consecutive reels from an eligible edge.
Winning from both edges
A left-to-right win starts on reel one and continues across adjacent reels. A right-to-left win starts on reel six and continues in the opposite direction. The same symbol arrangement can produce wins from both directions when it satisfies both edge conditions, but an isolated middle cluster does not count simply because identical symbols touch.
The two directions have their own multipliers. The left display applies to combinations that begin on the left; the right display applies to those beginning on the right. When a round contains wins from both directions, PG Soft says the two multipliers are added before wins are paid. That instruction is narrower than “multiply every award twice”.
Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols but not Scatter, and the document limits Wild to reels two through five. Wild cannot establish the required starting symbol on either outside reel. If a loaded build shows a substituting Wild on reel one or six, recheck the title and Help version before relying on this guide.
Sun and Moon multipliers in the main game
At the beginning of each paid spin, both directional multipliers are x1. Every Sun symbol appearing during a round raises the left-side multiplier by one before wins are paid. Every Moon symbol raises the right-side multiplier by one. Several celestial symbols can therefore increase a factor more than once in the same round.
Suppose two Sun symbols and one Moon symbol appear. The left factor moves from x1 to x3, while the right factor moves from x1 to x2. A left-only win uses x3; a right-only win uses x2. If both directions pay in that round, the rule states that both factors are added, producing x5 for the relevant combined settlement.
After a win, contributing symbols disappear and new symbols fall into the grid. The multipliers can continue to develop across those collapsing rounds. They reset when that paid spin ends. A sequence of several cascades is still one wager, and it should appear as one completed result in history.
Free Spins Feature
Three Scatter symbols appearing anywhere trigger ten free spins. Each additional triggering Scatter adds two more. Free spins can retrigger under the official rules.
The feature begins with both multipliers at x2. Sun and Moon symbols become stronger: each Sun adds two to the left multiplier, and each Moon adds two to the right. Direction still matters. A large left factor does not automatically boost a right-to-left-only combination.
This bonus has no evidence of a single shared persistent factor. The interface carries two values because it is modelling two directions. When documenting a result, note which edge formed each combination, both displayed factors before payout and any celestial symbols present in that round.
The r4 file does not publish a fixed number of cascades, a distribution for final multiplier values or the probability of receiving more than ten starting spins. It verifies the rules, not a short-session forecast.
RTP allocation and feature frequency
PG Soft allocates 70.63% RTP to the main game and 26.17% to free spins, totalling 96.80% over the theoretical model. These components do not promise that 70.63 units will return from the base game in any session. They describe long-run contribution under the specified configuration.
The overall hit rate is 29.24%, comprising 28.87% main game and 0.37% Free Spins Feature. The feature figure should not be converted into a countdown. Independent outcomes can cluster or leave long gaps, and the document does not guarantee a trigger inside any particular sample.
The supplier also reports presentation-label frequencies: Big Win at 1 in 636, Mega Win at 1 in 3,748 and Super Mega Win at 1 in 8,208. PG Soft maps those labels to x20–x35, x35–x50 and x50 or above. None of those frequencies is the probability of a 20,000x result.
Maximum-win evidence
The 20,000x advertised value is a theoretical model ceiling. The 3,913x simulated value is the largest exposure recorded in one billion supplier simulations. The simulation confirms that much lower results can be the largest observed even across a very large finite sample.
At the PDF’s €0.20 reference minimum, 3,913x equals €782.60 and 20,000x equals €4,000 by arithmetic. This example only explains multiplier notation. It does not establish a New Zealand cash value, account limit or attainable outcome.
An accurate comparison table should include both columns and describe their evidence type. It should not average the values, turn their difference into a probability or imply that the simulated maximum is a safer expected target.
Worked two-way settlement
Imagine a cascade round starts with the left multiplier at x3 and the right at x2. One Sun and two Moon symbols then land. In the base game, the left factor becomes x4 and the right becomes x4. Suppose ordinary left-to-right combinations total 2.5x and right-to-left combinations total 1.5x before multiplier treatment.
The correct interpretation must follow the Help display. Because wins exist in both directions, the official rule says the two multipliers are added before payout. The combined factor is x8. Record the settled history result rather than separately applying x4 to one side and x4 to the other unless the actual history item explicitly breaks the award down that way.
During free spins, the same three celestial symbols would add two each: the left factor rises by two and the right by four. The starting state is also x2 instead of x1. This is why a screenshot must show whether the game was in the base state or feature state.
Collapsing rounds and history
Once a win pays, its participating symbols collapse out of the grid. Remaining symbols move, replacements enter and the game checks both directions again. New Sun or Moon symbols can alter the relevant factor before another settlement.
The visual sequence can be fast, especially with Turbo Spin. Do not infer the final factor from the last frame alone. Save the initial total stake, each factor state and final history result. If the history panel aggregates all cascades, that is the authoritative account-side record to compare with the animation.
Auto Spin may expose optional stop-loss, stop-win and single-win thresholds described in the generic controls section. Their availability is deployment-specific. They change session controls, not RTP or the order in which directional multipliers are calculated.
Reference stakes and currency
The official package lists bet sizes 0.01, 0.1 and 0.5, levels one through ten, a default EUR minimum of €0.20 and maximum of €100. These values document the supplier’s reference interface, not a promise about an operator’s NZD limits.
Record the final total-bet field together with the currency. Do not convert the EUR figures and present the result as a local range. The live account interface and operator terms are the relevant source for current denomination and limits.
If a build displays a base-bet selector and separate level, the final displayed wager is what leaves the balance. A screenshot of one selector without the total can misrepresent the actual stake.
Mobile presentation
PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows, with 1080 by 2340 as the optimal portrait reference. The stepped grid naturally narrows at the outer reels, so a phone capture should include the complete shape rather than cropping either edge.
Both multiplier displays must remain visible. On a very narrow screen, interface controls may collapse into a menu; that does not alter the rules, but it can hide the current factor while an animation plays. Use History and Help when readability is reduced.
Technical platform support is not territorial evidence. A title can work on iOS and still be unavailable to a particular account because of operator catalogue decisions or local restrictions.
Demo and New Zealand availability
No playable demo is embedded here. The two commercial links are sponsored destinations and should not be interpreted as title availability claims.
PG Soft’s catalogue and r4 PDF verify that the studio documents Destiny of Sun & Moon. They do not prove availability in New Zealand, at 22Bet, in NZD or for a particular user. Confirm those points inside a current authenticated lobby and its terms.
A public studio preview may allow mechanical inspection. It still does not establish real-money access or legality in the reader’s location. Keep rules evidence, operator evidence and jurisdiction evidence in separate notes.
Who the game structure may suit
The design may interest players who like symmetrical systems and want a feature that can be checked direction by direction. The Sun/Moon split gives each outer edge a clear role, while the stepped layout makes the central reels visually prominent.
It may be less suitable for someone who prefers fixed paylines, one simple multiplier or a published forecast for bonus timing. Medium volatility is a supplier classification, not a budget guarantee. Set a hard spend limit before play and consult the responsible gambling guide for control options.
r4 verification checklist
Confirm catalogue ID 121, version 1.0.r4, 96.80% RTP, medium volatility, the 2-3-4-4-3-2 grid, 576 ways, both-way settlement, Wild only on reels two to five, x1 main-game starting factors, +1 celestial increments, x2 free-spin starting factors, +2 bonus increments, ten starting spins and the loaded currency.
The PG Soft catalogue guide explains source priority. Read the editorial methodology for maximum-win labels, and use the corrections policy to submit a documented version mismatch.
FAQ
What RTP does Destiny of Sun & Moon r4 state?
The official document states 96.80%. Always compare that with the loaded Help screen.
Can wins form from either side?
Yes. The 576-way model pays qualifying combinations from the left edge or right edge across consecutive reels.
What do Sun and Moon symbols change?
Sun raises the left multiplier and Moon raises the right. Each adds one in the main game and two during free spins.
How do free spins begin?
Three Scatters award ten spins; every extra triggering Scatter adds two, and retriggers are documented.
Is the maximum 20,000x or 3,913x?
20,000x is the theoretical advertised cap; 3,913x is the highest exposure in one billion simulated spins.
Is the title confirmed at a New Zealand operator?
No. Supplier rules do not establish operator or territorial availability.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
