Circus Delight rules and cannon-selection guide
A source-led explanation of the 25-line base game, doubled Wild wins, purple and red cannon choices, retriggers and the evidence needed to identify the loaded version.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Circus Delight is PG Soft catalogue ID 80. The checked English game-information file identifies version 1.0 r881, updated 8 July 2025. It documents a five-reel, three-row game with 25 fixed lines, Wild wins doubled and a free-spin feature whose opening spin count and multiplier are selected separately.
The supplier file states 96.70% RTP, high session volatility and an advertised maximum of 100,000×. Those figures belong to r881. They are not evidence that the title is available in New Zealand, that a particular operator carries it, or that another build uses identical settings.
Verified specification
| Field | PG Soft r881 evidence | What to verify in the client |
|---|---|---|
| Catalogue identity | ID 80 | Match title and supplier |
| Layout | 5 reels, 3 rows | Check Help and paytable |
| Win system | 25 fixed lines | Confirm total stake basis |
| RTP | 96.70% | Read the loaded Help screen |
| Volatility | High | Supplier classification |
| Overall hit rate | 30.86% | Long-run model statistic |
| Wild rule | Participating wins pay x2 | Check settlement order |
| Free-spin trigger | 3–5 Scatters | Opens two cannon choices |
| Advertised maximum | 100,000× | Cap, not an expectation |
The mathematical summary allocates 67.86 percentage points of return to the main game and 28.84 to free spins. It gives hit rates of 30.41% and 0.46% for those parts. These values describe a long-run model. They do not say that a feature is due after a certain number of spins.
Reading the 25-line base game
Line wins begin on the leftmost reel and continue across adjacent reels on one of the 25 displayed patterns. Only the highest win on each line is paid. Before comparing an award, open the paytable, identify the symbol count and trace the exact line rather than counting matching symbols anywhere on the grid.
PG Soft lists bet size values of 0.01, 0.05 and 0.4 across ten bet levels, with a base of 25. The reference EUR range is €0.25 to €100. That is supplier documentation, not a promise of NZD stakes. Currency, rounding and the available control steps must be checked in the actual deployment.
The normal Wild substitutes for all symbols except Scatter. Its important extra rule is simple: any win involving a Wild is multiplied by two. The doubling applies to the qualifying win, not automatically to the whole screen. Record the original line award, identify the participating Wild and then verify the x2 result.
Two cannon choices, two different decisions
Three, four or five Scatters anywhere trigger the feature. The opening screen then presents a purple cannon choice for the number of spins and a red cannon choice for the feature multiplier. These are separate random reveals, not a skill decision and not a way to predict the result.
The purple cannon ranges depend on the trigger:
- 3 Scatters reveal 8, 12 or 20 free spins.
- 4 Scatters reveal 12, 16 or 24 free spins.
- 5 Scatters reveal 20, 24 or 32 free spins.
The red cannon reveals x2, x5 or x12. Every free-spin win is multiplied by that selected value. Keep the selected multiplier visible when checking history; it is distinct from the base-game x2 rule for a win involving Wild.
Retriggers and the “32 or more” wording
During free spins, three, four or five Scatters add 8, 12 or 20 spins respectively. That is why the summary describes 32 or more as possible: 32 is the largest initial purple-cannon result, while later Scatters can extend the feature.
Do not read “or more” as an uncapped guarantee or an average. The official file gives the retrigger awards but does not provide an expected feature length. A clean audit records opening spins, spins used, retrigger symbols, spins added and the final remaining counter after each event.
The PDF also says Wild symbols appearing during free spins are collected. The extracted rules do not give enough detail to turn that sentence into an additional numerical payout formula, so this review does not invent one. The displayed client Help should resolve how any collection meter is represented in the exact deployment.
Worked settlement method
Suppose a line contains three matching premium symbols and a Wild. First read the three-symbol line value from the paytable. Apply the stake basis used by the client. Because the Wild participates, apply the documented x2 Wild factor. In free spins, apply the chosen red-cannon multiplier as a separate step.
For example, if the paytable and stake produce an illustrative 4-credit line award, a participating Wild changes it to 8 credits. A selected x5 free-spin multiplier would then produce 40 credits. The numbers are explanatory only; they are not a quoted Circus Delight paytable entry.
Separating the stages matters when several lines settle on one screen. One line may use the Wild and another may not. Capture the line breakdown or round history instead of applying x2 to the total without checking how the client grouped the wins.
Maximum win and simulation evidence
The supplier advertises a theoretical maximum of 100,000× the bet. Its separate one-billion-spin simulation reports maximum exposure of 5,467×. The first is a designed ceiling; the second is the largest exposure observed in the stated simulation. Neither value predicts a session result.
Do not replace the advertised maximum with the simulation result or describe the 5,467× figure as a more likely target. They answer different questions. If a loaded Help screen shows a different cap, record the version and date rather than combining figures from two builds.
Mobile controls and history
PG Soft lists iOS, Android, HTML5, macOS and Windows and gives a 1080×2340 portrait reference. On a phone, check that line selection, total bet, cannon choices, multiplier and remaining-spin counter remain readable without horizontal scrolling.
The documented controls include paytable, rules and history. History should preserve date, stake and result even when the circus animation has already disappeared. If the connection drops during a cannon reveal, reopen history before starting another round; the server result matters more than a repeated animation.
Auto Spin can be configured to stop after specified balance decreases, balance increases or a single win threshold. Those controls do not change RTP. They are budgeting aids, and a manual time limit is still useful because features can extend through retriggers.
Availability and preview boundary
The provider may offer its own preview, but the commercial links on this page are not labelled as the official demo. A catalogue record proves identity and supplier documentation; it does not prove access from New Zealand or availability at any named operator.
Verify territory in the operator terms, then search the authenticated lobby and open the game’s own Help. If ID, version or RTP cannot be matched, treat access as unconfirmed. Do not use location-bypass tools to force a launch.
Who may prefer this design
Circus Delight may suit readers who prefer fixed paylines, a visible x2 Wild rule and a feature with a clear choice screen. The two cannons create different starting profiles without requiring the player to understand a complex cascade state.
It may be less suitable for someone who dislikes high volatility or wants a fixed number of free spins. The choice is a reveal, not control over probability, and the 100,000× headline should not determine a spending limit.
Evidence checklist
A compact cannon worksheet
For one feature, create two columns before the first free spin. The purple column contains trigger count, the three possible spin outcomes shown by the rules and the revealed opening count. The red column contains the revealed multiplier. A third running column records each spin used, any retrigger and the remaining counter.
This worksheet prevents three common errors. First, it stops the initial Scatter count from being confused with the number of spins actually selected. Second, it keeps the red multiplier separate from the ordinary x2 Wild rule. Third, it shows why a feature can finish above its opening count after later Scatter awards.
When checking the final credit, reconcile every winning line before applying its relevant factors. If the client history gives only a combined total, note that the individual calculation could not be independently reproduced. A colourful cannon reveal is useful for identifying state, but it is not a substitute for a numerical breakdown.
Do not compare two feature sessions solely by their opening cannon results. Different symbols, paylines and retriggers make the outcomes incomparable. The worksheet is for verifying settlement, not deciding that one cannon position is “luckier” than another.
- Match catalogue ID 80 and version 1.0 r881.
- Confirm 25 fixed lines and the total-stake display.
- Read RTP in the loaded Help screen.
- Trace each paid line from the leftmost reel.
- Apply x2 only where a Wild participates.
- Record purple and red cannon outcomes separately.
- Track retriggers against the spin counter.
- Save the round ID and final settlement.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify PG Soft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
