Get the CHEESE — jumping Wild multipliers grow between cascades
Normal and Epic Jumping Wilds increase at different rates, while the three bonus tiers change how many begin on the grid and whether values reset.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Get the CHEESE by Hacksaw Gaming combines cluster wins with Super Cascades and mobile Wild multipliers. The official rules distinguish Normal and Epic Jumping Wilds by both starting value and growth rate.
Super Cascades and Cheese
After a winning combination, every regular paying symbol of each winning type is removed, including matching symbols that were not part of the original cluster. New symbols fall into the empty positions. If a Cheese symbol participates in a winning cluster, nearly the whole grid is removed; FS and Wild Multiplier symbols remain.
Jumping Wild Multipliers
After each cascade, Jumping Wilds move to a new position. A Normal one starts at 1× and gains 1× per jump. An Epic one starts at 10× and gains 10× per jump. No more than four can occupy the grid at once, and they substitute for paytable symbols.
Scatter payments and bonus ladder
Three or more FS scatters in the base game trigger a bonus and also pay according to count: three pay 5× bet, four 10×, five 25× and six 100×. The provider says these scatter payouts do not occur inside bonus games.
Fromage Frenzy begins with eight spins and two persistent Jumping Wilds; their values reset each new spin. Filling the Cheese Meter upgrades it to Take It Cheesy and adds five spins. Take It Cheesy can also start directly from four scatters with ten spins and three persistent Jumping Wilds, and its full meter upgrades to Life’s So Gouda with five more spins.
Life’s So Gouda starts directly from five scatters with twelve spins and four persistent Jumping Wilds, at least one Epic. Here their values do not reset between spins. Three or more extra scatters add five spins in each mode.
Evidence limits
The public source documents mechanics but does not provide readable RTP, stakes, layout details or New Zealand casino availability.
Super Cascades remove symbol types, not only winning cells
After a winning combination, the game removes every regular paying symbol of each winning type. Matching copies that were not part of the original cluster are removed too. This is broader than a conventional cascade that clears only the winning coordinates.
Record the winning cluster and create a list of its regular symbol types. Then mark every visible instance of those types on the pre-removal grid. The complete marked set should disappear before new symbols fall.
FS and Wild Multiplier symbols are governed by separate rules and should not be removed merely because their artwork overlaps a winning group.
Building a cascade ledger
Use one row per cascade with the grid before settlement, winning types, all removed coordinates, new symbols, Jumping Wild positions and Total Win change. The output grid becomes the input to the next cascade.
Do not count several clusters of the same type as several independent removal events if the game resolves them together. Preserve the live event order.
The cascade chain ends when the settled grid produces no new qualifying win. Save that terminal board before the next paid round.
Cheese-symbol participation
If a Cheese symbol participates in a winning cluster, nearly the whole grid is removed. FS and Wild Multiplier symbols remain. Capture the complete board before the event and mark the symbols protected from removal.
“Nearly the whole grid” should not be converted into an invented cell count without the deployed layout. Compare the actual pre- and post-removal grids.
A Cheese symbol merely visible outside a winning cluster does not establish the special clear. Participation must be shown by the evaluated result.
Normal Jumping Wild growth
A Normal Jumping Wild starts at 1×. After each cascade, it moves to a new position and gains 1× per jump. Assign a stable ID and record position and value before and after every movement.
The first displayed 1× is the starting value, not an increment earned by a prior unseen jump. A sequence of three verified jumps would take the same Wild through 2×, 3× and 4×.
Do not merge two Normal Wild values. They remain separate mobile symbols unless the paytable states another operation.
Epic Jumping Wild growth
An Epic Jumping Wild begins at 10× and gains 10× per jump. Track it independently from Normal symbols. After three verified jumps, an illustrative sequence would show 20×, 30× and 40×.
The larger step does not alter the movement rule. Each cascade produces a new position and one value increase.
Use the actual displayed values. The example explains arithmetic and is not a promised feature length or award.
Maximum of four mobile Wilds
No more than four Jumping Wilds can occupy the grid at once. Count stable symbol IDs, not every coordinate they visit. One Wild moving across four cascades is still one active Wild.
If a new symbol appears while four are present, consult the live rules for replacement or blocked entry rather than inventing a fifth state. Record the observed transition.
Their substitution behaviour belongs to the deployed paytable. A high displayed multiplier outside the winning route has no effect on that award.
Applying mobile multipliers
For each settled win, identify which Jumping Wilds substitute on the qualifying cluster or route and apply their values in the order defined by the live help. Keep the base award, participating IDs and multiplier calculation visible.
Movement occurs after the cascade. Do not use a Wild’s new coordinate to settle the grid it just left. The pre-move position belongs to the completed cascade; the post-move position belongs to the next state.
Reconcile the final cascade total with round history.
Scatter payouts in the base game
Three FS scatters pay 5× bet, four pay 10×, five pay 25× and six pay 100× in the base game. Record the complete bet unit and scatter count on the trigger grid.
The provider says these scatter payouts do not occur inside bonus games. Do not add the 5×–100× table to a retrigger result during a bonus.
Keep the scatter cash award separate from the bonus entry and any cascade settlement.
Fromage Frenzy entry state
Three or more FS scatters can start Fromage Frenzy with eight spins and two persistent Jumping Wilds. Save the trigger grid, initial counter, two Wild IDs and starting values.
Their values reset at the beginning of each new Free Spin. They can grow across cascades within that spin, but the next primary spin returns them to the mode’s starting state.
Wild-object persistence and value reset are separate rules. The same active Wild objects remain part of the bonus, but still jump after cascades. “Persistent Wilds” does not mean fixed positions or that their accumulated multiplier values carry into the next Free Spin in this tier.
Cheese Meter in Fromage Frenzy
The meter collects Cheese symbols when they are removed from the grid, not merely when they become visible. When it fills, the mode upgrades to Take It Cheesy and adds five spins. The accessible overview does not supply a numerical meter threshold or a conversion table between removed Cheese and displayed segments.
Record meter before and after the completing event, the tier change and Free Spins counter transition. Do not assume a threshold from visual segments if the live help provides a numerical value.
After upgrade, open a new tier ledger rather than continuing under Fromage Frenzy’s two-Wild assumptions.
Take It Cheesy direct entry
Four scatters can start Take It Cheesy directly with ten spins and three persistent Jumping Wilds. Save all three IDs and verify the reset rule at each primary spin.
This tier can also be reached through Fromage Frenzy’s full meter, where five spins are added. Do not describe the upgraded path as a fresh ten-spin start unless the live counter proves it.
The tier’s full meter upgrades to Life’s So Gouda and adds five more spins.
Life’s So Gouda
Five scatters can start Life’s So Gouda directly with twelve spins and four persistent Jumping Wilds, at least one Epic. Record all four starting symbols and identify the Epic one.
Here multiplier values do not reset between primary spins. Copy every Wild’s accumulated value forward after cascades and movement. This is the defining accounting difference from the lower tiers.
The public rule supports persistence until bonus end, not beyond the feature.
Upgrading into Life’s So Gouda
When Take It Cheesy’s meter fills, record the five-spin addition and tier change. Preserve the active Wild state according to the live transition rather than replacing it with assumptions from direct entry.
Confirm whether an Epic Wild is introduced or an existing symbol changes during the upgrade. The accessible overview guarantees at least one Epic on direct five-scatter entry, but the exact upgraded transition should come from the deployed help.
Open a persistent-value ledger from the moment the highest tier becomes active.
Bonus retriggers
Three or more extra scatters add five spins in each mode. Record scatter coordinates and the counter before and after settlement.
Because base scatter payouts do not occur in bonuses, the event changes duration without automatically receiving the base 5×–100× cash table.
Keep retrigger additions separate from five-spin tier-upgrade awards; both can change the counter for different reasons.
Worked Normal Wild cascade
A Normal Wild starts one spin at 1×. A win produces a cascade; the Wild moves and becomes 2×. A second win produces another cascade; it moves again and becomes 3×. The chain then ends.
In Fromage Frenzy or Take It Cheesy, the next primary Free Spin resets its value under the published rule. In Life’s So Gouda, the 3× state carries forward.
This example supplies no invented payout or probability.
Worked Cheese clear
Suppose Cheese participates in a winning cluster. The audit stores the pre-state, protects FS and Wild Multiplier coordinates, removes the remaining qualifying grid under the live event and then records falling replacements.
Jumping Wild IDs survive in their documented state and move after the cascade. The ledger then settles any new cluster.
This preserves the difference between board clearing and Wild movement.
Worked tier progression
A Fromage Frenzy feature starts with eight spins and two persistent Wilds. Meter completion upgrades it to Take It Cheesy and adds five spins. Later meter completion upgrades it to Life’s So Gouda with another five.
The exact counter depends on spins already consumed and any retriggers. Record transitions rather than adding 8+5+5 as though none were played.
Once the highest tier begins, carry multiplier values across primary spins until feature end.
RTP, stakes and configuration
The provider page does not expose readable RTP, stake interval, default denomination, volatility or overall maximum exposure. Obtain them from the deployed help with title, version, operator, currency and date.
If multiple RTP settings exist, publish only the tested one. Do not combine scatter rules from the provider with numerical data from an unrelated casino.
The four-Wild grid limit and 100× six-scatter base award are feature rules, not a complete maximum-win specification.
New Zealand availability
The global provider page does not prove real-money access in New Zealand. Verify country terms, registration eligibility, authenticated catalogue and successful launch.
NZD support, payments, verification and withdrawals are operator facts. Source them separately and date the check.
A demo is not enough. Do not advise bypassing location controls.
Mobile and accessibility checks
On mobile, the full grid, Cheese Meter, tier label, Wild IDs, values and Free Spins counter must remain visible. Test portrait, landscape and device rotation during a cascade chain.
Normal and Epic Wilds need labels beyond colour. Reduced-motion mode should preserve removal masks, movement order and value changes. Keyboard focus should reach help, paytable and history.
After interruption, compare tier, counters, meter, Wild positions and values, balance and round identifier with server history.
Support-ready evidence
For a cascade issue, provide the winning types, every removed coordinate and protected FS or Wild cells. For a Wild issue, provide stable ID, movement path and value history.
For tier disputes, include scatter trigger, meter transitions, five-spin additions and reset or persistence behaviour. Add operator, version, stake, currency and round identifier.
Never share passwords, one-time codes, private keys or seed phrases. Ask authenticated support to inspect server events.
Session controls
A growing Wild or nearly full Cheese Meter can feel like stored value, but those states exist only inside the active mode. They do not make a future paid trigger due.
Set stake, spend and time limits before play. Do not raise stakes to chase an Epic symbol or top-tier transition.
Understanding the tiers helps verify settlement, not predict outcomes. Use responsible-play tools and stop at the chosen boundary.
Three bonus states, compared without mixing their counters
The same jumping animation can occur in every bonus, but the state carried into the next spin differs. This is why a displayed 40× Epic Wild is not enough to identify the active mode: it could be a temporary value reached during a lower-tier cascade or a value carried from the preceding spin in Life’s So Gouda.
| Bonus state | Direct-entry spins | Starting Wild objects | Value at the next Free Spin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fromage Frenzy | Eight | Two, either type | Resets |
| Take It Cheesy | Ten | Three, either type | Resets |
| Life’s So Gouda | Twelve | Four, at least one Epic | Carries forward |
The provider describes direct-entry scatter thresholds of three, four and five for these respective modes. Those are entry descriptions, not three simultaneous bonus awards from a five-scatter result. The active mode label and awarded counter identify which bonus was opened. The initial ten-spin or twelve-spin award for direct entry should not replace the remaining counter when a Cheese Meter promotes an already-running feature.
Meter promotion changes the tier and adds five spins. That does not retrospectively make all earlier spins part of the higher tier, or prove that their Wild values were retained when the lower tier required a reset. The transition’s actual displayed Wild state matters; the overview does not specify every introduction or conversion of Wild objects at that instant.
A counted progression from eight spins into the highest tier
Take a hypothetical Fromage Frenzy start with eight spins. After three ordinary Free Spins have been consumed, five remain. Suppose the third spin completes the Cheese Meter and the game confirms promotion to Take It Cheesy. Its five-spin addition makes ten remaining. This is an upgrade within the same feature, not a fresh direct-entry award of ten on top of the existing five.
Suppose two more spins are then consumed, leaving eight, and the second fills the next meter. Promotion to Life’s So Gouda adds five, giving thirteen remaining. The feature has now consumed five spins and received ten additional spins: eight initial plus ten added minus five used equals thirteen. Treating the counter as eighteen at this point would forget the spins already played.
One later spin could leave twelve, then produce a confirmed three-or-more-FS retrigger adding five, for seventeen remaining. The retrigger and meter promotion have equal stated additions but different causes. This illustration separates them into different spins; it does not assert a simultaneous-trigger priority rule that the public page does not explain.
| Hypothetical event | Used in this step | Added in this step | Remaining |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fromage Frenzy begins | Zero | Eight initial | Eight |
| Third spin completes first meter | Three total | Five | Ten |
| Two later spins complete second meter | Two | Five | Thirteen |
| Later spin retriggers | One | Five | Seventeen |
These events are assumed for the arithmetic, not a promise that either meter will fill or a measured playthrough. How much Cheese is needed, how likely it is to be removed and how long a cascade continues are not supplied here. A counter calculation explains an already-confirmed sequence; it cannot forecast the length or reward of a feature.
Two Wild objects can grow at different rates in the same spin
Imagine one Normal and one Epic Wild each completing three verified jumps during a spin. The Normal sequence is 1×, 2×, 3×, 4×; the Epic sequence is 10×, 20×, 30×, 40×. Each has moved three times, even though the numerical increases are different. There are still two Wild objects, not six because six movements were observed.
In either lower tier, the next ordinary Free Spin resets their values to the starting values for their types. A screenshot ending at 4× and 40× does not entitle the next spin to begin there. In Life’s So Gouda, the values instead carry forward; a further verified jump by those same objects would take them to 5× and 50×. The carry rule changes the reset boundary, not the +1× or +10× step size.
Their displayed values also do not establish a combined multiplier of 44×, 160× or any other operation for a particular win. Whether both participate in a qualifying cluster, and how the paytable combines participating multipliers, must be shown by the live help and settled award. A Wild outside that cluster is not automatically part of its calculation. Movement and growth are documented rules; a particular payout cannot be inferred merely by adding every number visible on the board.
The maximum of four is a limit on active objects. A Wild leaving one coordinate and appearing at another does not make a vacant “slot” for a fifth Wild while its movement is animated. Persistent objects and moving coordinates need separate identities, particularly in a chain where a new symbol falls during the same transition.
Matching symbols outside the winning cluster still clear
Consider an illustrative grid with a qualifying cluster of a regular symbol A and three other A symbols elsewhere that are not connected to that cluster. Super Cascades removes the winning A symbols and those three remote copies because removal is based on the winning regular symbol type. A conventional cluster-only mask would leave the remote copies and would therefore describe a different mechanic.
This does not mean every visible symbol type clears. If B symbols are present but B is not a winning type in the evaluated result, the A win alone is not evidence that those B symbols should disappear. If another B cluster also qualifies in that same result, B becomes a winning type too. The set of types is determined by the evaluated wins, rather than by how visually similar the symbols appear.
A Cheese win uses the broader clear rule: all symbols except FS and Wild Multipliers are removed. Remote regular symbols of other types can therefore disappear even if they did not win in a separate cluster. Conversely, a Cheese visible outside any winning Cheese cluster does not on its own authorize that broad clear. Presence, participation and removal are three different stages.
For the Cheese Meter, the relevant event is removal. Cheese that falls onto the refreshed grid and remains there has not yet been collected merely by arriving. If a broad clear removes several Cheese symbols, preserve the actual meter change rather than assuming one visual segment per symbol. The public overview describes collection but not that numerical mapping. This distinction prevents a plausible-looking screenshot from being mistaken for proof that an upgrade threshold was reached.
Scatter cash is not a second bonus retrigger payment
At a hypothetical complete bet of €0.20, the published base-game scatter table converts as follows: three FS symbols pay 5B or €1; four pay 10B or €2; five pay 25B or €5; six pay 100B or €20. The euro bet is an arithmetic assumption, not a confirmed operator stake. These are alternative awards according to the actual count, not four amounts added together when six symbols appear.
Inside a bonus, the provider explicitly removes those scatter cash payouts. A three-or-more-FS event adds five spins in the current mode. It should not also receive the €1–€20 reference cash amount merely because its symbols resemble a base-game trigger. Any regular cluster credits settled in that spin are a separate award source and should remain separate from the retrigger counter.
For example, if a bonus result shows four FS symbols and a separately settled 8B cluster award, the documented scatter rule adds five spins, not a further 10B scatter payment. At the hypothetical €0.20 bet, the 8B credit would be €1.60. The example assumes that cluster credit was actually confirmed; it does not invent a symbol paytable or use the extra five spins as a cash value.

Bottom line: identify the active tier first; it controls starting Wild count, spin count and whether multiplier progress persists.
How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Hacksaw Gaming, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
