Cash Crew by Hacksaw Gaming: Cash zones and Vault evidence
A practical breakdown of adjacent multiplier products, Grab'em collection, activated feature positions, Stopwatch extensions and missing live fields.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Cash Crew is a five-reel, five-row paylines title with two Vault bonus modes. Hacksaw Gaming publishes a 10,000x maximum win. Multiplier symbols act as Wilds, modify paylines they join and multiply collected Cash values inside a surrounding 3×3 zone.
The official page checked on 8 October 2026 does not expose readable RTP, line count, volatility or stake range. Those details and New Zealand availability require live-build evidence.

Ordinary line settlement and Cash collection are different paths. Keep their calculations separate until the server combines the round total.
Multiplier Wilds
Multiplier symbols substitute for paytable symbols. Published values are 2x through 10x, then 15x, 20x and 25x. Values of 4x or more arrive concealed and reveal when Cash is collected.
When multiple Multiplier Wilds join the same payline, their factors multiply together. This differs from games that add Wild values. Record participating coordinates and the product once.
Cash symbols
Cash values can be 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x or 500x. Landing alone does not pay them; a Grab’em Scatter must collect them unless a bonus rule says otherwise.
Save each position and face value before reveal or collection. Do not apply a nearby factor outside its defined zone.
Grab’em collection
A Grab’em Scatter collects visible Cash when at least one Cash symbol is present. Every Multiplier symbol affects Cash in the 3×3 area centred around it. If several multipliers are adjacent to one Cash, their values multiply against that Cash.
Build a coordinate map for each Cash. List all adjacent multipliers, calculate their product and apply it once. Then sum collected values according to the displayed bet unit.
Payline versus Cash arithmetic
A Multiplier on an ordinary winning line multiplies that line. The same symbol may also affect nearby collected Cash. These are parallel effects, so record a line-factor column and a Cash-zone column.
Do not apply the line’s entire multiplier product to every collected Cash unless each factor is actually within that Cash symbol’s 3×3 area.
The Vault
Three FS Scatters trigger six Free Spins. Cash and Multiplier symbols with higher values become more likely. Every position where a Multiplier lands is activated for the rest of the feature; a random multiplier lands on that position on each remaining spin.
Track activated coordinates and their activation spin. They persist as positions, not necessarily as the same multiplier value.
High-Security Vault
Four FS Scatters trigger nine spins. It uses activated Multiplier positions and sets every landed Cash symbol to at least 5x. This minimum does not guarantee collection.
Maintain both the position ledger and Cash-value list. A Cash can satisfy the minimum while receiving no award if collection conditions are absent.
Stopwatch extensions
In either bonus, a Stopwatch awards one to six extra spins according to its display. Record the revealed number and counter change. It does not multiply a win.
Counter reconciliation is initial spins plus all Stopwatch additions minus completed primary spins. Respins or animations should not be counted as extra feature spins unless history labels them that way.
Missing RTP and stakes
The public page does not provide readable RTP, minimum stake, maximum stake, line count or currency. Capture them from the active information panel with game version, operator and date.
Do not infer an RTP from the 10,000x cap or from another Hacksaw release. These fields measure different things.
Maximum win
Hacksaw states that 10,000x bet can be achieved in all game modes. Verify the deployed cap mechanics and total-bet definition. A maximum is not an expected outcome.
If a calculated zone collection exceeds the cap, server history should show the credited amount and feature closure. Preserve that record.
Mobile verification
On mobile, all 25 positions, concealed Multiplier states, 3×3 zones, activated positions and spin counter must be readable. Test portrait and landscape.
After interruption, confirm that activated coordinates and remaining spins match the server. A visual reload must not duplicate collection.
Audit worksheet
For each spin, save ordinary payline subtotal, Multiplier Wild product, Cash coordinates, adjacent factors, Grab’em state and Cash subtotal. Add Stopwatch and activated-position changes in separate columns.
Compare final round credit with balance movement. Keep every child spin beneath the feature’s parent ID.
Common mistakes
Do not add adjacent multipliers; multiply them for affected Cash. Do not collect Cash merely because it landed. Do not carry one revealed multiplier value across all future activated-position spins.
Avoid publishing an invented RTP or line count, guaranteeing a Vault trigger or presenting 10,000x as typical.
Responsible play
Activated positions can create a sense of accumulated progress, but they exist only inside the current feature. They do not make another paid trigger due. Set a monetary and time limit beforehand.
Assess every spin by full total bet. Stop at the chosen boundary regardless of recent Cash values or near misses.
Questions for support
Ask for active RTP, line count, stakes, 3×3 edge handling and calculation order when one Multiplier affects a line and Cash simultaneously. Include round IDs and coordinate maps.
For New Zealand access, request operator terms rather than relying on the studio page.
Coordinate-by-coordinate example
Number rows and reels, then place every Cash and Multiplier on a 5×5 worksheet. For a Cash in the centre, inspect the eight surrounding cells plus its own position according to the live 3×3 definition. At an edge, include only positions that exist on the grid; do not wrap the zone to the opposite side.
Suppose a 10x Cash is adjacent to 2x and 5x Multiplier symbols. The documented rule multiplies adjacent factors, so that Cash’s modifier product is 10x before the bet unit is applied. A different Cash touching only the 2x receives a different treatment. Use actual history for final arithmetic.
Separately list ordinary paylines containing Multiplier Wilds. Their product applies to that line and must not automatically be copied into the Cash zone. The final row adds the line subtotal and collected-Cash subtotal once.
Activated-position ledger
During a Vault feature, mark the spin on which each Multiplier position activates. On subsequent primary spins, record the fresh random multiplier placed there. An activated coordinate persists; its earlier numeric factor does not.
For High-Security Vault, verify each Cash value is at least 5x. Record Stopwatch additions only after the counter changes. This creates a complete history of positions, values and duration without relying on rapid animations.
Version and publication checks
On every update compare line count, Cash set, Multiplier set, concealed threshold, zone geometry, feature triggers, initial spins, Stopwatch range and 10,000x handling. Do not import missing fields from another Cash Crew review.
If the live panel later supplies RTP, volatility or stakes, publish them with operator, build, currency and date. Keep previous unavailable status in the change log rather than pretending the number always applied.
Practical reader questions
Before play, confirm full wager, readable zone boundaries, collection trigger and account history. If overlapping 3×3 areas cannot be audited on mobile, pause and use a larger display or request support data.
Understanding adjacency helps verify settlement, not predict symbols. A large uncollected Cash value has no stored influence on the next independent round.
Preserve one screenshot before reveal and one after reveal whenever a concealed 4x-or-higher Multiplier affects Cash. Pair those images with the server calculation so the hidden state, revealed factor and applied zone are connected. A reveal animation without a matching transaction is not sufficient proof of settlement.
When reporting a discrepancy, name the Cash coordinate and every adjacent factor. This lets support reproduce one calculation without interpreting the whole 5×5 scene.
Also state whether the Cash was collected by Grab’em or by a feature-specific rule.
Keep that distinction explicit in the final report.
Short answers
What collects Cash? Grab’em, subject to a Cash symbol being present.
How large is a Multiplier zone? A 3×3 area around it.
How do adjacent factors combine? They multiply.
How many Vault spins? Six, or nine in High-Security Vault.
Is RTP publicly readable here? No.
Is NZ access confirmed? No.
Final assessment
Cash Crew is a coordinate problem: every Cash value has its own adjacent multiplier set, while ordinary paylines use a separate factor path. Vault modes add persistent positions and counter extensions.
The official source supports those mechanics and the cap. Live help is still required for RTP, stakes, line count and local access.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Hacksaw Gaming, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
