Water Tiger by Endorphina: Free Games and expanding Wild guide
Water Tiger links three Scatter thresholds to different initial spin counts, then changes its white-tiger Wild into a full-reel expanding symbol. This guide maps the sequence and its evidence.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Water Tiger is an Endorphina 5×3 slot with 20 paylines. The official page publishes 96.03% RTP, medium-high volatility and a €0.20–€150 provider stake range. Its central rule is a tiered Scatter trigger: three, four or five Scatters award 10, 15 or 25 Free Games, where the white-tiger Wild expands over its reel.
These values describe the studio profile checked on 8 October 2026. They do not confirm New Zealand availability, NZD limits or the configuration at a particular operator. Verify those details in the game help loaded by the account.

The feature list includes Wild, Scatter, in-game Free Spins, Classic Risk and Bonus Pop. Bonus Pop may depend on jurisdiction. Record whether each optional control is visible rather than assuming every catalogue tag is active.
Base-game line evaluation
Regular combinations need matching symbols on an enabled payline across adjacent reels from the left. Scatters count anywhere. Only the highest combination on each line is paid, while different line wins and the Scatter award can be added.
The official summary identifies ships and coins as high ordinary examples, each paying 25× base bet for five. Those examples do not replace the full paytable and do not define a cash value until “base bet” is understood in the live interface.
Save the 20-line overlay and mark the line number for a tested win. If the operator lets the user change line count, also record how the total stake changes. The provider table says 20 lines, but current help is the source for whether all are fixed or selectable in the delivered build.
White-tiger Wild
The white tiger substitutes for every regular symbol except Scatter. In base play it behaves as a standard Wild. During Free Games it becomes an expanding Wild and fills all positions on its reel.
Expansion increases substitution coverage; it is not an independent prize. A full tiger reel can support several paylines, each of which should be settled according to the paytable. Record the reel, highlighted lines and combined credit rather than multiplying the total by the number of covered cells.
If the Wild lands with Scatters, keep the two roles separate. Tiger positions may complete ordinary lines, while Scatter count determines the feature trigger and any Scatter payment. The Wild cannot stand in for a missing Scatter.
Trigger ladder: 10, 15 or 25 spins
Three Scatters launch ten Free Games, four launch fifteen and five launch twenty-five. The five-Scatter combination also pays 100× base bet. A trigger record should show the original grid, Scatter count, award and opening free-spin counter.
The feature can be won again during Free Games. When Scatters retrigger it, capture the counter before the event, the retrigger frame and the counter afterward. Do not assume that a three-Scatter retrigger always adds the same quantity as the opening trigger without reading current help; the official overview confirms retriggering but the loaded rules should settle the exact addition.
At feature completion, compare its summary with history. Establish whether the Scatter payment is already included in the displayed total before adding anything. A clear ledger prevents the 100× five-Scatter award from being counted twice.
Expanding Wild evidence inside Free Games
Number each free spin and note the tiger’s reel, whether it expanded, winning lines and credit. When more than one tiger lands, capture the fully expanded state and the result list. Shared Wild positions can participate in multiple line evaluations but do not generate a separate cash award.
The same bets and lines apply as on the triggering spin according to the official description. Confirm this by saving the total stake before the trigger and the feature information screen. The feature itself should not make additional cash debits per free spin.
If a network interruption occurs, do not replay immediately. Reconnect, open history and look for the original round ID and restored feature counter. The final server record matters more than an interrupted animation.
Classic Risk and Bonus Pop
Classic Risk can offer up to ten doubling choices after an eligible settlement. A failed choice can remove the offered win, so Risk results must be recorded after the original spin or feature total, not folded into the slot’s underlying line calculation.
Bonus Pop is an optional route listed by the studio. Endorphina warns that it may not be available in every casino or jurisdiction. If present, capture its price, entry condition and any RTP disclosure before acceptance. If absent, describe it as unavailable in that checked deployment—not as removed globally.
The cleanest rules test declines Risk and leaves paid shortcuts off. This creates a baseline for line and Free Games settlement before optional wagering layers are examined.
RTP, volatility and reference stakes
The published 96.03% RTP represents a theoretical long-run setting. It does not state the probability of landing three Scatters in a session and it cannot predict whether 10, 15 or 25 spins will return a particular amount.
Medium-high volatility is the provider’s qualitative label. It is compatible with long sequences without a feature and with feature results that vary widely. It should inform budget planning, not create an expectation that a larger award is “due”.
The €0.20–€150 range is a euro supplier reference, not an NZD account limit. Record the live currency, minimum total stake, increment and maximum. Do not convert the endpoints and present the conversion as an operator rule.
Mobile, demo and access boundaries
Endorphina says Water Tiger works on mobile, tablet and computer devices. The official page also points to demo availability through approved partners. A demo can expose controls and rules, but it does not prove real-money access or the same certified configuration.
On mobile, ensure that all three rows, the total stake, remaining Free Games, result message and help close button are usable without horizontal scrolling. Test portrait and landscape orientation. A touch on the expanding Wild animation should not accidentally alter stake.
Before paid play, save the exact title and provider, version, RTP, currency, limits, line model, Free Games wording, optional controls, domain and date. For support, add the round ID, timestamp, balances and screenshots while redacting private account information.
A feature audit example
Suppose four Scatters launch a feature. The opening counter should show fifteen Free Games under the cited provider rules. Record the Scatter award separately if displayed. On each free spin, note any tiger Wild and the paylines it completes.
If another Scatter event occurs on free spin six, record the counter immediately before and after. Continue numbering spins according to actual history, not the animation speed. At the end, reconcile the total of recorded spin credits with the feature summary and then with the account balance.
This method answers three common questions: whether the correct initial tier was applied, whether the retrigger changed the counter, and whether an expanding Wild affected the stated lines. It does not attempt to judge randomness from a tiny sample.
Common mistakes
- Treating the white tiger as a Scatter.
- Assuming every Wild expands in base play.
- Adding a Scatter prize twice to the feature total.
- Calling 25 spins guaranteed because five Scatters are possible.
- Importing euro limits into an NZD account.
- Claiming NZ availability from an official studio page.
- Mixing Risk and Bonus Pop results with natural feature evidence.
Comparing three trigger tiers fairly
Do not compare the quality of ten-, fifteen- and twenty-five-spin features solely by their final totals. Each feature begins from a different Scatter event and can contain different numbers of expanding Wilds or retriggers. A useful comparison normalises the feature credit by the initiating total stake, then keeps the original spin count and retrigger count beside it.
That ratio is descriptive, not predictive. Ten observed features cannot establish the theoretical return or the probability of each tier. Its value is practical: it keeps a € or NZD amount from being mistaken for better feature mechanics simply because the tested stake was larger.
When exporting records, use three labels—initial tier, added spins and final played spins. The final count may exceed the initial tier after retriggers. Keeping all three prevents a twenty-five-spin feature from being confused with a shorter feature that received extra rounds.
Final assessment
Water Tiger’s rules are organised around one clear transition: an ordinary substituting tiger becomes a full-reel expanding Wild in Free Games. The three Scatter thresholds determine the initial feature length, while retrigger evidence should be captured from the live help and counter.
The provider page supports the 5×3, 20-line configuration, 96.03% RTP, medium-high volatility, reference range and main trigger ladder. Operator availability, local limits and active optional controls remain separate checks.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
