Valentine's Heart: spreading Wild and bidirectional line rules

Valentine's Heart is a compact fruit game whose important details are directional: combinations can start from the left, right or middle, while a heart Wild spreads into adjacent positions. This guide maps the expansion before counting lines.

Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Valentine’s Heart is a five-reel, three-row Endorphina slot with ten fixed paylines. The official page checked on 8 October 2026 lists 96.03% RTP, medium-high volatility, a €0.10–€200 reference stake range and Approved status. Its defining feature is a diamond-heart Wild that spreads across adjacent positions.

The provider description also allows matching symbols to begin from the leftmost reel, rightmost reel or middle part of the reels. That wording makes current game help essential: ordinary left-to-right assumptions are not enough.

Ten-line map and direction

Save the ten fixed paths from the loaded paytable. A cluster that touches outside those paths does not become a win merely because the Wild animation connects it visually.

For every award, record line number, symbol, sequence length and the direction used. The supplier states that combinations may begin at the left, right or middle; the exact live rule should explain how middle-origin combinations extend and whether both sides are required.

Never pay the same combination twice because it can be described from two directions. Transaction history is the final settlement reference when paths overlap.

Ordinary symbol anchors

The official symbol section lists the top fruit group at 100× base bet for five of a kind. A lower fruit group is listed at 50×. These entries help identify the paytable version but do not establish an overall maximum.

Record the complete table rather than extrapolating missing symbol values. The words “base bet” must remain with each multiplier until the live interface defines the unit.

The broad €0.10–€200 supplier range is not advice to use its upper end. Actual currency, increments and personal limits should be set before play.

Heart Wild substitution

The heart substitutes for ordinary symbols. The product page describes it spreading across adjacent positions to connect potential wins. Determine the original heart cell first, then record every additional cell created by expansion.

Use a before-and-after grid. The first shows actual landed symbols; the second shows the expanded substitution state. This prevents the visual effect from being mistaken for extra reel stops.

Wild substitution does not invent a payout outside the ten-line map. After expansion, re-evaluate only the paths supported by the current rules.

Adjacent-position ambiguity

“Adjacent” can mean horizontal, vertical or another rule-defined neighbourhood. Do not infer the shape from a promotional animation. The loaded help and a recorded result should identify exactly which cells are covered.

When auditing, give every cell a reel-row coordinate. Start at the landed heart and list newly Wild cells in activation order. If expansion stops at an edge, preserve that boundary in the diagram.

If more than one heart lands, document whether the expansions resolve independently, merge or stop on occupied Wild cells. Avoid adding a behaviour that the source does not publish.

Reconciling a spreading-Wild spin

Begin with opening balance, total stake, game version and displayed RTP. Save the untouched 5×3 grid and then the completed expansion state.

For each winning line, note its direction and the cells that participate. Add supported line awards once, compare with round history and then reconcile closing balance.

A celebration counter may show a running total. If the history value is inclusive, do not add the counter and component wins again.

Classic Risk Game

Endorphina lists Classic Risk as available. It is a post-win choice after the line result, not another Wild stage. Record the settled eligible amount before entering and each decision afterwards.

An operator may disable Risk. Its absence does not alter the ten-line grid or 96.03% supplier reference. Declining the option completes the ordinary round.

Risk does not change the probability of later spins and should not be framed as a way to recover previous losses.

No Bonus Pop claim

The official FAQ says Valentine’s Heart does not include Bonus Pop. Therefore a similarly named control seen elsewhere should not be imported into this review.

If a live operator build presents an extra purchase or shortcut, preserve its game ID and help text and treat it as a possible version conflict requiring investigation.

The absence of Bonus Pop also means there is no basis for inventing a purchase price, altered RTP or direct feature entry.

RTP and medium-high volatility

The 96.03% RTP is theoretical over many rounds for the supplier configuration. Medium-high volatility does not tell a reader when a spreading Wild will appear or how long a losing sequence can last.

Check live help for the deployed value. If it differs, present the two figures with their sources rather than choosing the more attractive number.

No RTP can guarantee a personal return. Session budgets and time limits remain more useful than short-run pattern tracking.

Mobile and demo examination

On mobile, verify that expansion cells remain visible after the animation and that line direction can be inspected. Test portrait and landscape orientation, paytable access, total stake and history.

A permitted demo may demonstrate Wild movement, but it cannot prove real-money availability, currency settings or cash settlement. Label the evidence and note the browser and date.

Accessibility review should not depend only on the ruby colour. The heart outline, labels and focus states should remain distinguishable for users with colour-vision differences.

Mistakes that distort the rules

  • Assuming every win must start on the left.
  • Awarding a visual connection outside the ten lines.
  • Treating spread cells as extra reel spins.
  • Applying one path twice from opposite directions.
  • Inventing Bonus Pop terms.
  • Calling a top symbol entry the maximum win.
  • Converting euro metadata into an NZD account limit.
  • Presenting medium-high volatility as a timing signal.

Who may prefer this format

The title may appeal to readers who want a small grid and a single prominent feature rather than layered collectors. Its audit is manageable when before-and-after screenshots are available.

It may be less suitable for anyone who dislikes directional ambiguity or post-win Risk decisions. The romantic theme does not change the underlying random outcome or high-variance possibilities.

Drawing the expansion map

Use a 5×3 coordinate grid labelled by reel and row. First copy the landed symbols exactly as they appear before the heart activates. Circle every original Wild, then use arrows to show each newly affected adjacent cell in the order displayed. Keep this diagram separate from the final line calculation.

Once expansion is complete, overlay the ten fixed paths. For each credited path, identify its origin—left, right or middle—then list the consecutive matching cells and Wild substitutions. If two descriptions refer to the same settled path, retain only the single award shown in history.

This method answers three different questions: where the heart landed, how it spread and which payline paid. Combining them into one screenshot makes an error hard to locate. A two-grid record exposes whether the disagreement concerns expansion geometry or line direction.

Testing middle-origin combinations

The supplier’s wording about the “middle part” deserves direct confirmation. Use the loaded help to determine which central reel or cells can begin a combination, how far it must extend and whether matching symbols are needed on both sides. Do not manufacture a symmetrical rule merely because the artwork is centred.

If game history identifies only line numbers and amounts, match those numbers to the saved payline map. Where the direction still cannot be established, mark it unresolved and avoid publishing a worked currency example.

Evidence for an operator query

Save the exact title, round ID, version, device, currency, total stake, opening balance and displayed RTP. Include both grids, the relevant payline pages and the operator’s final transaction record. If Classic Risk followed the line win, separate its opening amount and later outcome from the original spin.

A neutral request should state the expected line components and the actual credit without claiming that the decorative animation is authoritative. Original files with timestamps are more useful than a heavily annotated crop. Remove personal identifiers from any public copy, while retaining secure originals for account support.

If the loaded build shows a purchase feature despite the official no-Bonus-Pop statement, preserve the help text and game ID as a possible configuration or naming conflict. Do not assume the control’s terms from another game.

Final assessment

Valentine’s Heart is mechanically narrower than the other games in this batch, but its line direction and Wild geometry deserve precise documentation. The useful question is not whether the heart looks large; it is which fixed paths become valid after the recorded expansion.

The official page supports 96.03% RTP, medium-high volatility and no Bonus Pop. The live build must confirm access, exact directions, currency, stakes, RTP and history.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
