The King by Endorphina: Free Games multipliers and verified settings

A calculation-first explanation of the Lion Scatter, Crown Wild, feature multiplier, optional controls and evidence needed to audit a round.

The King uses five reels, three rows and ten paylines. Endorphina publishes 96.07% RTP, high volatility and a €0.10–€90 supplier stake range. Three or more Lion Scatters start 15 Free Games, feature wins are tripled, and a Crown Wild involved in a winning combination can double its award.

The official product page was checked on 8 October 2026. It documents supplier rules, but it does not prove that a New Zealand operator offers the title or uses the same currency settings. Always compare these values with the authenticated game help.

Supplier specification

Field Official value
Grid 5×3
Paylines 10
RTP 96.07%
Volatility High
Stake range €0.10–€90
Free Games 15 from 3+ Lion Scatters
Feature multiplier 3× all wins
Optional tools Risk Game and Bonus Pop

The ten paylines evaluate matching symbols from the first reel along enabled paths. Royal portraits and crowns outside a credited path have no independent value. Use the line breakdown rather than reading the grid as a cluster game.

Lion Scatter trigger

The Lion is Scatter. Three or more Scatters trigger 15 Free Games, and five Lions are listed at 500 times base bet. The direct Scatter award and the entry into the feature are separate facts; history should reveal every credited component.

Save the trigger grid, number of Lions, total stake and parent round ID before the transition. If the feature fails to load after a connection drop, those fields allow support to locate the server result without relying on a screen animation.

Free Games at three times

All wins during the 15-spin feature are multiplied by three. That multiplier applies to feature outcomes, not the initiating base round. Further Scatters may retrigger the feature, so record the counter before and after every child spin.

Do not multiply the feature summary again if the game has already applied 3× to each child award. The reliable audit order is ordinary paytable amount, any Crown-Wild treatment, feature multiplier, final credited value. Keep the precise order shown in the result detail.

Crown Wild and doubling

The Crown substitutes for all regular symbols except Scatter. Endorphina lists five Crowns at 900 times base bet. Its FAQ also states that one or more Wilds in a winning combination double the win.

The plural wording does not prove that two Crowns create a 4× factor. When several Wilds appear on one line, consult the live calculation and document the single factor the server applies. Also distinguish the direct five-Wild paytable entry from a regular-symbol combination completed by substitution.

Portraits and paytable values

The man and woman portraits are equal highest regular symbols, each paying 75 times base bet for five on a qualifying line. They do not become Wild merely because they are principal characters. Lower royal objects form the remaining tiers.

A 75x combination is not the confirmed maximum win of the title. Several paylines, Wild doubling and a feature multiplier can interact, while a global cap is not established by that single table entry. Use only a cap explicitly displayed in current help.

RTP and high volatility

The published 96.07% return is theoretical and long-run. It does not forecast the next feature or guarantee that 96.07% of a short session comes back. High volatility signals a more uneven distribution on Endorphina’s own scale; it is not a reason to chase a loss.

Record the deployed RTP, game ID and version. If an operator loads another certified profile, report it as a separate configuration. A transparent review preserves the difference instead of replacing the lower value with supplier marketing.

Stake and base-bet definition

The €0.10–€90 range belongs to the supplier page. It does not confirm NZD, a local minimum or a New Zealand operator. Check the final currency amount immediately before every paid spin.

Because multipliers are expressed against base bet, locate that term in the game’s help. It may not equal total stake. Changing denomination, coin value or number of coins can affect the calculation differently, so test one control at a time.

Risk Game and Bonus Pop

The Risk Game places an optional wager after a settled win. Its outcome should be logged separately from the reel result. Save the prize before the risk, amount exposed, choice, result and final balance; declining should leave the original award intact.

Bonus Pop is also listed, but availability may vary by jurisdiction. If a paid shortcut appears, capture its price, confirmation step, starting feature state and any separate RTP disclosure. Never infer access merely from the supplier catalogue.

Mobile check

Endorphina states mobile compatibility. In portrait orientation, verify that all reels, total stake, Lion count, Crown locations and remaining-spin counter can be read. Open the paytable before using quick play, because compressed controls can hide the unit behind a number.

Test rotation and app switching with demo credit. After returning, ensure the round ID and counter match server history. A resumed animation is not the authoritative settlement record.

Feature ledger example

For every Free Game, note the counter at start, grid, winning line, normal table value, Wild participation, applied Crown factor, feature ×3 and final child award. If a retrigger occurs, add awarded spins before recording the new counter.

At the end, sum the final child awards once and compare with the feature summary and wallet movement. Do not add the summary to its own parts. This ledger also reveals whether a disputed difference begins at substitution, multiplication or crediting.

Round-history evidence

A useful evidence pack contains UTC time, operator domain, account currency, opening balance, total stake, parent round ID and every child ID. Add unedited screenshots of the trigger, counters, line drawer and summary.

Preserve originals privately and redact account details before publication. If server history lacks a calculation, ask support for the event record associated with one identified child spin rather than submitting dozens of decorative screenshots.

Common misreadings

Do not present five Lions at 500x as the universal Free Games prize. Do not triple an amount that the history already labels as multiplied. Do not allow the Crown to replace Scatter, and do not assume multiple Crowns compound without explicit evidence.

The other recurring errors are treating 900x for five Wilds as a documented title maximum, copying euro limits into NZD and describing Bonus Pop as universally available. Each goes beyond the cited source.

Responsible session setup

High volatility makes a monetary ceiling especially important. Set loss and time limits before entry and base them on the displayed total stake. Free Games are game outcomes, not a reason to extend a finished budget.

Disable the Risk Game if an extra decision would undermine the plan. A paid feature shortcut should be treated as a separate high-cost choice, not a discount or guaranteed route to the Lion trigger.

Questions for support

Ask which RTP configuration is deployed, whether multiple Crown Wilds create one doubling or more, and in what sequence Wild and feature multipliers apply. Request the exact definition of base bet used by the paytable.

For a missing retrigger, provide the child round, Scatter positions and counters before and after settlement. For territory access, ask the operator directly rather than citing the global Endorphina page.

Multiplier display check

During a demo feature, compare three places: the line-level calculation, the child-spin total and the feature accumulator. The Crown’s doubling and the Free Games factor should leave a trace in at least one detailed view. If only a final number appears, capture it with the grid and ask support for the multiplication sequence. This is more reliable than reverse-engineering the order from sound effects or the size of an on-screen celebration.

Keep the initiating Scatter payment outside that child-spin sum unless history expressly groups it with the feature total. Different interfaces present the same server events in different visual containers; the round IDs, rather than the screen layout, establish which values belong together.

Label every captured value clearly.

Final assessment

The King’s main audit challenge is multiplier order. The Lion starts the feature, the Crown can affect a line, and Free Games add their own 3× stage. Keeping those layers separate prevents the most common arithmetic errors.

Use the supplier figures as a reference and the deployed help as the account-specific record. If those sources diverge, preserve both rather than guessing which is current.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
