Santa's Gift: Free Games and Christmas Gifts Bonus guide
Santa's Gift links an eight-spin Free Games round to a second collector triggered by six or more Gifts. The useful question is which symbol starts each stage and how the final award is evidenced.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Santa’s Gift is a five-reel, three-row Endorphina slot with ten paylines. The official product page checked on 8 October 2026 publishes 96.06% RTP, high volatility and a €0.10–€45 reference stake range. Its feature chain begins with Snowball Scatters, moves into eight Free Games and can lead to a separate Christmas Gifts collector.
The supplier profile establishes the design but not availability at a New Zealand operator. Confirm the exact version, currency, RTP and help file in the loaded game. Do not convert the euro reference range and call it an NZD limit.
Published configuration
| Field | Provider value |
|---|---|

Read these as a dated supplier snapshot. If the live help differs, preserve that deployment as separate evidence rather than selecting whichever number is more attractive.
Base symbols and stacked Wild
Santa is the Wild and can appear stacked in both the base game and Free Games. The provider says it substitutes for regular symbols but not Snowball Scatters or Gifts. Five Wilds are published at 30× base bet.
The bell is the highest highlighted ordinary symbol, with five bells listed at 25× base bet. Exact values for remaining symbols and mixed Wild combinations belong to the active paytable. “Base bet” must be defined before translating multipliers to money.
A stacked Wild can cover more than one row and therefore contribute to several lines. Trace each active line independently. Do not count the visible stack as a separate prize in addition to the line settlements.
Snowball trigger and eight Free Games
Three Snowball Scatters on the middle reels—two, three and four—trigger eight Free Games. The same three-symbol combination is published at 25× base bet. The positional rule matters: three snowballs elsewhere should not be assumed to satisfy the trigger.
Capture the complete trigger screen, including reel numbers and stake. Then note whether the 25× Scatter award is shown separately from the feature results. This prevents accidental double counting when the final summary already aggregates both.
The free round uses the same wager context unless the loaded rules say otherwise. Record the starting counter and every added or consumed spin. The public product page should not be used to invent a different stake or multiplier for the feature.
Restricted Free Games symbol set
Endorphina states that only top symbols appear during Free Games: Wild, Scatter and Gifts. That restriction changes the visual pool but does not by itself guarantee a collector trigger or a profitable round.
For each free spin, note the number and coordinates of Gifts. Six or more Gifts trigger the Christmas Gifts Bonus. Because Gifts serve as the bridge into the collector, do not describe them as ordinary line symbols unless current help explicitly gives them a line value.
Snowballs remain Scatters and Santa remains Wild. Keeping those identities separate makes the transition auditable: Snowballs start Free Games, Gifts start the collector, and the stacked Santa supports line substitutions.
Christmas Gifts collector
The collector presents Gifts that can reveal multipliers up to 16× and special prizes up to 150× total bet, according to the public page. Filling all 15 Gift positions is associated with an award up to 5,000× total bet.
The public profile does not provide a complete plain-text counter sequence for this collector. Do not invent a three-attempt reset or assume it behaves like another Endorphina hold feature. Read the current in-game help and record the actual counter, persistence rule and ending condition shown by that build.
“Up to 5,000×” is a ceiling, not a standard full-grid return unless the active rules explicitly state the exact full-grid award. Likewise, a 16× gift and a 150× special prize are different published categories. Record each reveal before the summary combines them.
A clean feature ledger
Use one ledger for Free Games and another for the collector. The Free Games ledger needs spin number, Snowballs, Gifts, Wild stack positions and line settlement. The collector ledger needs reveal order, Gift coordinate, award type, displayed multiplier and running total.
Suppose the sixth Gift arrives on free spin four. Save that screen, note the remaining free-spin counter and record the transition. In the collector, list every revealed 4×, 8× or other displayed value exactly as shown. If a special prize appears, label it as such instead of treating it as a normal Gift multiplier.
At the final screen, compare the feature total with round history. Determine whether the original 25× Scatter payment, Free Games line wins and collector awards are itemised or already aggregated. Never add them again merely because separate animations occurred.
Retriggers and unresolved details
The supplier page confirms the initial eight Free Games and the six-Gift collector threshold. Any retrigger rule, extra-spin rule or collector counter must be taken from the loaded help. Absence from a marketing page does not prove a mechanic is impossible, but it prevents this guide from asserting one as fact.
This distinction matters for support disputes. A timestamped screenshot of the current help carries more weight than a rule borrowed from a similarly themed title. Preserve the version and language of the help file with the round ID.
Classic Risk
Classic Risk may offer up to ten doubling decisions after an eligible win. It is an optional post-win mechanism, not part of the Snowball trigger, eight Free Games or Gift collector.
Record the amount offered to Risk and each decision separately. A Risk outcome should not be used to advertise the base game’s maximum feature value. Availability may vary with operator and jurisdiction.
For the clearest initial test, decline Risk and reconcile the feature first. Optional exposure can be documented later without confusing the underlying settlement.
RTP, volatility and wager range
The 96.06% RTP is a theoretical long-run setting for the identified supplier configuration. It cannot forecast when three Snowballs or six Gifts will land. High volatility indicates the provider’s broad distribution classification, not a schedule of losses and wins.
The €0.10–€45 range is a provider reference. It does not confirm an NZD range, local access or a particular operator’s stake ladder. Record the actual account currency and total-bet control.
Seasonal presentation does not change bankroll mathematics. Set time and spend limits before testing, and do not chase a collector because a previous free round stopped at five Gifts.
Mobile and version checks
On a phone, confirm that all five reels, the Free Games counter, Gift count and final summary fit without obstruction. Find round history before the first spin. If rotating the device reloads the title, avoid changing orientation during a feature.
Before play, save:
- title, provider and version;
- current RTP and wager units;
- ten-line map;
- Snowball positions and award;
- Gift threshold and collector instructions;
- Wild exclusions;
- currency, domain and check date.
If a demo loads on the official supplier page, use it to inspect rules only. Demo access does not establish the same real-money build or New Zealand availability elsewhere.
Settlement questions worth answering
Three short checks make the feature record more useful. First, does history show the 25× Snowball payment as its own line or inside one combined total? Second, does a revealed Gift quote a multiplier of total bet or another wager unit? Third, does the collector return to the remaining Free Games or close the whole feature immediately?
Write down the answer shown by the current build rather than generalising from one session. A reconnect may collapse several stages into one history entry, so preserve the on-screen summary as well. If the balance credit and feature summary differ, record both timestamps and ask support for the settlement breakdown instead of guessing which animation represented cash.
This three-question method also makes later revisions straightforward: a changed collector rule can be updated without rewriting verified Snowball and Wild behaviour.
Common interpretation errors
- Treating Gifts as the trigger for the initial Free Games.
- Ignoring the reel-two-to-four Snowball position rule.
- Allowing Wild to substitute for Scatter or Gifts.
- Assuming all symbols remain in the Free Games pool.
- Inventing a collector counter from another game.
- Presenting “up to” reward figures as guaranteed values.
- Double counting the Scatter award in the final summary.
- Claiming NZ access from an official catalogue listing.
Final assessment
Santa’s Gift is a two-stage audit: Snowballs open eight Free Games, then six or more Gifts can open the collector. The best evidence keeps trigger, line settlements and revealed Gift awards in separate ledgers until the final history entry reconciles them.
The official page supports the layout, RTP, volatility, positional Scatter trigger, initial spin count and published ceilings. The live help must still confirm the complete paytable, collector counter, any retrigger rule and the exact configuration delivered to the account.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
