Royal Xmass family: identify the version before reading the rules
Four similarly named Endorphina releases use two different game structures. This single guide keeps the shared artwork from hiding material rule differences.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

The Royal Xmass family by Endorphina contains four related titles: Royal Xmass, Royal Xmass Dice, Royal Xmass 2 and Royal Xmass 2 Dice. The first pair uses a 6×4, 4,096-way structure with wreath Wild multipliers. The sequel pair uses a 6×5 cascade structure with accumulating multipliers. Treating all four as one interchangeable game would produce incorrect trigger, grid and payout claims.
This page keeps the family under one URL so a reader can identify the exact version first. It does not establish availability with a New Zealand operator, an NZD range or a particular certified configuration.
Four-version source table
| Version | Grid / evaluation | RTP | Reference bet | Key feature |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Royal Xmass | 6×4 / 4,096 ways | 96.01% | €0.40–€20 | Wreath Wild multipliers |
| Royal Xmass Dice | 6×4 / 4,096 ways | 96.01% | €0.40–€20 | Dice symbols, wreath Wilds |
| Royal Xmass 2 | 6×5 / scatter pays | 96.05% | €0.20–€10 | Cascades and accumulator |
| Royal Xmass 2 Dice | 6×5 / source conflict | 96.05% | €0.20–€10 | Dice symbols and accumulator |
All four pages label volatility High and status Approved. Bonus Pop is listed but can depend on jurisdiction. These are provider-page records checked on 7 October 2026; the loaded help screen remains necessary for any live deployment claim.
Original Royal Xmass
The first game uses 4,096 ways on a 6×4 grid. Wreaths are Wild on reels two through six. Three Bonus symbols award eight Free Games, four award 15, five award 25 and six award 100. During the feature, Wild wreaths can carry x2, x3 or x5 multipliers.
The studio table gives 7.5× base bet for six crowns. Its page also presents a maximum claim of x93,750. A maximum is not a typical result, an expected return or proof of the limit in another build. Preserve the unit printed in live help.
When several multiplied Wilds participate in one win, do not assume whether values add or multiply. The exact combination rule must come from the help screen. Record the grid and multiplier labels before the animation clears.
Royal Xmass Dice
The Dice edition retains the 6×4 grid, 4,096 ways, 96.01% RTP reference, €0.40–€20 range and the same 8/15/25/100 Free Games trigger schedule. Wreath Wild multipliers remain x2, x3 and x5 during the feature.
The material difference is the symbol language: dice faces replace conventional picture-card style values. A familiar layout does not justify reusing a screenshot or product ID from the original. Confirm the title string and identifier because two visually similar integrations may settle from different help files.
Six crowns are again shown at 7.5× base bet. Keep that base-bet unit separate from any total-bet feature statement. A dice combination on adjacent reels still follows the published ways logic; it is not a table-game dice roll.
Royal Xmass 2
The sequel changes the mathematical presentation to a 6×5 field with scatter payouts and cascades. Four or more Bonus symbols award 15 Free Games. Three or more additional Bonus symbols during Free Games add five spins.
After a winning cluster is removed, new symbols fall into the cleared positions. Multiplier gifts can appear after cascades, and their values accumulate during Free Games. The provider says gift multipliers can reach x1,000. Record each cascade as a child state of one paid round rather than counting it as a fresh stake.
Six or more Bonus symbols pay 100× base bet, while 12 or more crowns pay 50× according to the official table. These thresholds belong to the sequel and should not be pasted into the original 4,096-way game.
Royal Xmass 2 Dice and the source conflict
Royal Xmass 2 Dice also displays a 6×5 field and describes scatter payouts and cascades, yet the checked specification field says “20 fixed lines”. Those statements conflict. This guide does not silently choose one. The exact live help must establish how wins are evaluated in the deployment under review.
The source states that four or more Bonus symbols award 15 Free Games and three or more during the feature add five. It lists accumulator multipliers ranging through a broad ladder up to x25,000. Six or more Bonus symbols pay 100× base bet. The symbol copy gives 50× for 12 or more crowns and 25× for the jewel symbol, although one sentence repeats “crowns”; that wording should also be checked against the live paytable.
The conflict is not a cosmetic footnote. “20 fixed lines” and “scatter pays” produce different expectations about adjacency and stake. Save the rules page that shows the evaluation method before attempting to reproduce a result.
How to identify a version in under a minute
Start with rows. Four rows indicates the original pair; five rows indicates a sequel. Next inspect symbols: conventional festive symbols point to the standard edition, while jewel-like dice identify a Dice version. Finally open help and record the full title, RTP and evaluation wording.
Do not identify a build from a lobby thumbnail alone. Operators can crop images or retain older artwork after a technical update. Product ID and in-game help are stronger evidence.
Free Games audit for the original pair
Save the number of triggering Bonus symbols and match it to 8, 15, 25 or 100 starting spins. Number every free round. When a wreath Wild appears, record its reel, multiplier and participating ways. At feature end, compare the summary with transaction history.
If several multipliers appear, quote the live combination rule before calculating. If the counter changes, note whether the cause was an initial award, retrigger or restoration after reconnection. A visually replayed intro should not be recorded as a second award.
Cascade audit for the sequel pair
One paid spin can contain multiple cascade stages. Label the initial grid stage zero, then number each removal and refill. Record any multiplier gift at the stage where it appears and the accumulator after it is applied.
During Free Games, also track the remaining-spin counter. Three or more Bonus symbols should be linked to the five-spin addition described by the provider, not treated as a separate paid trigger. The final history amount is the settlement anchor.
RTP, volatility and Bonus Pop
The two original pages publish 96.01%; the sequel pages publish 96.05%. Neither percentage predicts a short session. An operator may use another certified setting, so never infer the loaded RTP from the family name.
All four are labelled high volatility. That does not mean a cascade, wreath or retrigger becomes due after a losing sequence. Bonus Pop, where present, can have deployment-specific pricing and RTP treatment. Read its own live terms and treat it as optional expenditure.
Mobile and demo checks
A demo can help distinguish grids and locate rules, subject to age, location and site policy. It does not prove real-money access in New Zealand. The demo and operator integration may also differ.
On mobile, inspect whether all six reels, current stake, remaining free rounds and multiplier accumulator are visible without horizontal clipping. Rotate the device during a cascade only after saving the round ID. Confirm that returning from the background resumes the same settlement.
New Zealand boundary
None of the four provider pages alone confirms availability to a New Zealand account. The euro ranges are references, not NZD promises. Check operator terms, account location, currency, product ID and responsible-gambling controls.
An approved supplier status does not substitute for an operator-level decision. If the title is absent or blocked, do not recommend workarounds. Record availability as unconfirmed for that account and date.
Comparing the versions fairly
Do not rank the original against the sequel by largest advertised multiplier. Their evaluation systems, stake ranges and feature structures differ. A fair table compares live minimum debit, visible RTP, rule clarity, mobile readability and the evidence required to reconcile history.
The Dice editions are alternative symbol presentations, not proof of a different return. Their own product IDs and help screens still matter. The 2 Dice source inconsistency deserves special attention rather than an invented resolution.
Common questions
Are there four separate games?
Yes. They have separate official pages and product identities, even where settings overlap.
Which versions use 4,096 ways?
Royal Xmass and Royal Xmass Dice, both on 6×4 grids.
Which versions use cascades?
Royal Xmass 2 and Royal Xmass 2 Dice on 6×5 grids.
Why is 2 Dice marked as a conflict?
Its specification says 20 fixed lines while its description discusses scatter payouts. Live help must resolve the deployment.
Final assessment
Royal Xmass is a version-identification task before it is a feature review. Row count, symbol set and product ID prevent the most serious errors. Only then should a reader apply the correct Free Games, wreath or cascade rules.
Keep the four source records distinct, preserve the 2 Dice conflict and stop at a preset money and time limit. Similar seasonal artwork is never enough evidence to merge mathematical rules.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
