Riches of Caliph: stacked Wilds and three Free Games tiers
Riches of Caliph awards 10, 20 or 30 Free Games from three, four or five Scatters. Its official page conflicts over which artwork represents Scatter and Wild, so this guide separates confirmed mechanics from labels that require live help.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Riches of Caliph is a five-reel, four-row Endorphina slot with 40 fixed paylines. The official page checked on 8 October 2026 lists 96.07% RTP, medium-low volatility and a €0.40–€140 reference stake range. Three, four or five Scatters trigger 10, 20 or 30 Free Games, and stacked Wilds can appear in both game states.
The provider page supports the mathematical outline but contains conflicting descriptions of the symbol art. One passage calls the tower Scatter and the snake Wild; the symbol summary calls golden snakes Scatter while separately describing Wilds. The loaded help must identify the active artwork before any symbol-specific claim is treated as settled.

Forty-line base game
Ordinary matches use adjacent reels from the leftmost reel on the 40 fixed paths. Copy the actual line map and total-bet definition. Four rows allow several lines to share symbols, so evaluate each qualifying path once and reconcile the combined settlement with history.
The Caliph and the girl are the two highest ordinary examples after Wild, each listed at 10× base bet for five. Their equal five-symbol value does not make them interchangeable; shorter-count payouts and other symbols require the complete paytable.
Scatter wins can count anywhere and are separate from the left-to-right line rule. Keep the Scatter award, line subtotal and feature entry in distinct ledger columns.
Public symbol-label conflict
The long-form description names the tower as Scatter and a snake as Wild. The page’s “main symbols” section then says golden snakes act as Scatter, while its Wild section gives a separate substitution rule without naming matching art. These statements cannot all be mapped confidently from public copy alone.
The correct editorial response is not to choose the most convenient version. Open the current game’s information panel, record the pictured Scatter and Wild, and attach the version number. Until then, discuss the roles as Scatter and Wild rather than asserting which image fills each role.
This conflict is material because Scatter starts Free Games while Wild substitutes on lines. Reversing the artwork could cause a user to misread both the trigger and a paytable result.
Three Free Games tiers
Three Scatters trigger 10 Free Games, four trigger 20 and five trigger 30. Record the exact Scatter count and opening counter. A three-symbol entry should not be described as 30 games, and a five-symbol entry should not be reduced to the minimum tier.
The public page says Scatter symbols count anywhere. Capture every coordinate on the trigger round, the awarded tier and any separate Scatter paytable value. The feature counter provides an independent check that the correct tier was awarded.
If current help permits retriggers, record the trigger count and added games during the feature. The public summary reviewed here does not state a retrigger rule clearly enough to invent one, so active help must support any such claim.
Stacked Wild behaviour
Wild substitutes for all ordinary symbols except Scatter and may appear stacked in the main game and Free Games. Depending on the reel stop, a player may see a complete Wild reel or only the beginning or end of the stack.
A partial stack is not automatically a full-reel Wild. Mark the exact occupied cells on the 5×4 grid and trace only lines passing through those cells. A full stack can contribute to many paths, but the stack itself is not an independent prize.
Five Wilds are published at 50× base bet. Confirm whether this refers to a line combination and how base bet relates to the 40-line total stake before converting it to account currency.
Feature ledger
Open with title, version, current symbol mapping, RTP, currency, total bet and trigger count. Add the correct 10-, 20- or 30-game opening balance. For each Free Game, record counter before, Wild-stack coordinates, Scatter count, line subtotal and counter after.
If the animation shows a long snake or other vertical figure, use the settled cell map rather than assuming the graphic fills all four rows. Save the line overlay for any multi-line outcome.
At feature end, sum round results once and compare them with the feature summary and transaction history. If the summary includes the original Scatter award, note that inclusiveness rather than adding the award twice.
Worked trigger example
Suppose four confirmed Scatter symbols land anywhere on the 5×4 grid. The expected feature tier is 20 Free Games. Save the four coordinates and opening counter. If help separately pays four Scatters, enter that amount as the trigger award.
During the third Free Game, imagine a vertical Wild graphic appears across part of reel three. Mark only the cells that the final reel state treats as Wild, then trace every completed 40-line path. Do not credit an unseen row merely because the artwork appears continuous.
If a support question arises, quote the loaded help’s symbol images rather than the contradictory marketing copy. Include round ID, pre-spin grid, post-spin grid and final history entry.
Classic Risk and Bonus Pop
Classic Risk can offer up to 10 doubling decisions on eligible settled wins. It is optional, separate from the Free Games counter and potentially unavailable depending on deployment. Record the amount entering Risk and every decision.
Bonus Pop is listed on the supplier page but may not be available at all casinos or in every jurisdiction. If shown, record its cost, feature tier and any RTP note from live help. Do not call a purchased or alternative access route a natural Scatter trigger.
Neither option should be added to the game’s theoretical maximum without a complete configured rule set. Their presence does not prove local access.
RTP, volatility and limits
The provider’s 96.07% RTP is a long-run theoretical setting. It does not predict a Scatter tier, stacked Wild or profitable session. Medium-low volatility is a broad distribution label, not insurance against losing sequences.
The €0.40–€140 stake range is a provider reference. Operators may supply different currencies and controls. Record the loaded minimum, maximum and total-bet unit rather than presenting a conversion as an NZD limit.
Choose time and spend limits before play. A 30-game tier offers more rounds than a 10-game tier but does not guarantee a positive feature result.
Mobile and availability checks
On mobile, open help and confirm that Scatter and Wild artwork can be distinguished. Test portrait and landscape views so a partial stack is not mistaken for a full reel. Locate round history before the first paid spin.
The official page says the title is available on mobile devices, but catalogue support is not account availability. Record the operator domain, region, currency and observation date.
If the title or demo does not load, report the specific route and error. One technical failure does not prove a territorial restriction.
Evidence hierarchy for the symbol conflict
Use the current in-game help as the primary evidence for a loaded round, followed by the round-history symbol and settlement breakdown. The official product page remains useful for configuration and feature tiers, but its contradictory artwork labels should be quoted as a conflict rather than used to overrule the live legend.
Create a two-row symbol table headed “role” and “active artwork”. Fill it only after opening help. Then record substitution exclusions beside Wild and the anywhere-on-grid rule beside Scatter. This small table prevents later screenshots from being interpreted through the wrong public caption.
If help itself is missing or unclear, avoid assigning the artwork. A support request can still identify the coordinates, trigger count, awarded game tier and settlement. Those observable facts are sufficient to report what happened without inventing the visual mapping.
Common interpretation errors
- Repeating the provider’s conflicting symbol labels as one certain mapping.
- Awarding 30 Free Games for every three-or-more trigger.
- Treating a partial Wild stack as a full reel.
- Counting the stacked artwork as an extra prize.
- Adding the Scatter award twice after feature settlement.
- Inventing a retrigger rule not confirmed in current help.
- Calling Bonus Pop free or universally available.
- Claiming New Zealand availability from the supplier page.
Final assessment
Riches of Caliph has clear feature arithmetic but unclear public artwork labels. The robust audit counts confirmed Scatters, selects the correct 10/20/30-game tier, maps every Wild cell and lets live help settle which image performs each role.
The official page supports the grid, lines, RTP, tier ladder and stacked-Wild concept. Current help is essential for symbol identification, exact paytable, retriggers, optional controls and local access.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
