Multistar Fruits: outer-reel stars and expanding-symbol rules
Multistar Fruits uses two star states on reels one and three: Purple Stars open 20 Free Games, while Golden Stars expand and apply different modifiers depending on whether one or both outer reels are covered.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Multistar Fruits is a three-reel, three-row Endorphina slot with five paylines. The official page checked on 8 October 2026 publishes 96.04% RTP, high volatility and a €0.05–€50 reference stake range. Purple Stars on both outer reels trigger 20 Free Games with a selected expanding symbol.
The supplier listing documents the public mechanism, not a promise of access in New Zealand. The active operator build determines currency, stake steps, RTP and optional controls. Save its help and version before relying on a setting.

Endorphina also lists Classic Risk and Bonus Pop. Bonus Pop may be unavailable in some jurisdictions, and neither optional control should be assumed present without checking the loaded interface.
Base paylines and seven value
The compact grid uses five paylines. Record the actual map, line stake and total bet. A symbol that looks horizontally aligned may not belong to an enabled diagonal or other path; the help overlay decides.
Sevens are the highest ordinary paying symbols, with three listed at 60× base bet. Lower fruit values belong to the current paytable. Do not reconstruct missing multipliers from the artwork or another Endorphina classic.
The provider describes Purple and Golden Stars as Wild/Scatter-type symbols, but their roles change by game state. Separating base Purple Stars from Free Games Golden Stars is essential to explaining the title correctly.
Purple Star trigger
Purple Stars appear only on reels one and three. When they appear simultaneously on both outer reels, they turn gold and trigger 20 Free Games. A random ordinary symbol is selected as the special expanding symbol for the feature.
Capture both Purple Star coordinates, the selected symbol and the starting counter. One Purple Star on only one outer reel is not the published trigger. A star on the middle reel should not be assumed possible under the public rule.
Free Games retain the initial bet and lines according to Endorphina. Record those settings before entry and verify they remain unchanged in the feature summary.
Selected expanding symbol
The feature chooses one ordinary symbol and gives it expanding behaviour. Record the selection before the first Free Game. When that symbol lands on an appropriate reel, use the final expanded layout shown after animation to trace paylines.
An expanding-symbol win is still evaluated through the line system. The expansion creates symbol coverage; it is not an extra cash award by itself. Mark which cells were original and which were filled by expansion if a settlement needs to be reproduced.
Do not assume the selected symbol persists across separate feature entries. Start a fresh ledger for each trigger and copy the selection displayed for that sequence.
Golden Star modifiers
During Free Games, Golden Stars appear on reels one and three and expand vertically. If a Golden Star covers one outer reel, wins from special expanding-symbol combinations receive a 2× modifier. If Golden Stars cover both outer reels, the published modifier is 5×.
The wording ties these factors to special expanding-symbol combinations, not necessarily every win on the screen. Identify the qualifying combination in live help and history before multiplying unrelated fruit lines.
Record Golden Star coverage as left only, right only or both. Then record the underlying qualifying line amount, applied modifier and final settlement. A both-reel 5× event should not also receive a separate 2× factor unless current rules explicitly stack them.
Fifteen-game retrigger
Golden Stars appearing simultaneously on reels one and three trigger 15 additional Free Games with the same bet and lines. This event may overlap visually with the both-reel 5× condition, so keep the counter addition and prize modifier in separate ledger columns.
Write down the counter before the retriggering round, subtract the consumed game, add 15 and compare the result with the interface. This prevents a long feature from being reconstructed incorrectly after several additions.
A retrigger extends the sequence; it does not reset prior accumulated results. The final feature summary should reconcile every round once.
Worked feature ledger
Use columns for free-game number, counter before, selected-symbol positions, Purple/Golden Star coverage, multiplier state, line subtotal, retrigger addition and counter after. Include zero-win rounds because they preserve the counter sequence.
Suppose the selected symbol expands on the centre reel while a Golden Star covers reel one. Trace only the lines formed by the expanded symbol, then check whether the 2× modifier is applied to those combinations. If the next round has Golden Stars on both outer reels, record the 5× state and the 15-game addition independently.
At feature end, sum the posted round outcomes and compare them with history. Do not add a summary figure to the components if it already contains them.
Classic Risk and Bonus Pop
Classic Risk can offer up to 10 doubling decisions on eligible settled wins. It is separate from Free Games and may not be offered after every result. Record the amount entering Risk and the final decision outcome.
Bonus Pop may offer another feature-access route where allowed. The provider specifically warns that its availability depends on the casino and jurisdiction. If it appears, record its cost, stated effect and RTP implications from current help rather than calling it a free trigger.
Neither optional control proves New Zealand availability. An operator deployment and account region must be observed directly.
RTP, volatility and mobile checks
RTP of 96.04% is the provider’s long-run figure, not a forecast of outer-reel stars. High volatility describes distribution over a large sample and does not mean a feature is due after a dry sequence.
On mobile, ensure both outer reels and the selected-symbol indicator are visible. Test portrait and landscape views, then locate history before the first paid round. A clipped multiplier label should be verified from help rather than inferred from colour.
The €0.05–€50 range is a supplier reference, not an NZD limit. Record the actual currency, total-bet controls, game version and loaded RTP.
Evidence for a disputed round
A useful record contains the trigger screen, selected expanding symbol, per-round counter and final history entry. If the issue concerns a missing modifier, include the Golden Star coverage and the exact line combination that should qualify.
State the expectation narrowly: for example, “Golden Stars covered both outer reels while the selected symbol formed this payline; help describes a 5× modifier.” This is stronger than saying the feature paid incorrectly without identifying the qualifying state.
If a reconnect interrupts the feature, record the last completed round ID and counter before reopening. Compare the restored selected symbol, star state and remaining games.
Separating trigger, expansion and payment
Three screenshots tell the full story more reliably than one final screen. The first shows Purple Stars on both outer reels and identifies the selected expanding symbol. The second shows a settled Free Game with its Golden Star coverage and expanded cells. The third shows the posted round result in history. Together they connect entry condition, feature state and payment.
When no Golden Star appears, record the selected-symbol line at its ordinary feature value. With one covered outer reel, identify the qualifying expanding-symbol combinations and compare their 2× result. With both outer reels covered, repeat the calculation using the 5× state. Keeping one example of each prevents the modifiers from being applied indiscriminately to unrelated fruit wins.
If both Golden Stars also add 15 games, the counter evidence must remain separate from the cash evidence. A row can contain a 5× qualifying settlement and a 15-game addition without treating the added games as a multiplier. At feature end, the remaining-counter path should reconcile independently from the money total.
For a support request, include the chosen symbol, outer-reel coordinates, active line map, total bet and round ID. State exactly which qualifying combination was expected to receive which factor. This allows the operator to examine one deterministic rule instead of a general complaint about the feature.
Common interpretation errors
- Treating one Purple Star as the 20-game trigger.
- Allowing Purple or Golden Stars on the middle reel without evidence.
- Applying 2× or 5× to every screen win automatically.
- Multiplying the 2× and 5× states together.
- Missing the separate 15-game retrigger.
- Calling Bonus Pop universally available or free.
- Presenting euro reference stakes as NZD limits.
- Claiming local access from the supplier catalogue.
Final assessment
Multistar Fruits is easiest to audit as a state table: Purple Stars start the feature, one selected symbol expands, Golden Stars determine outer-reel coverage, and simultaneous Golden Stars can also add 15 games.
The official page supports the grid, RTP, trigger and headline modifiers. Current help must confirm the line map, exact qualifying combinations, optional controls, RTP build and account availability.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
