Moon Tiger: big-symbol Free Games and Full Moon Bonus rules

Moon Tiger uses three separate spatial ideas: fixed lines in the base game, a 3×3 big-symbol centre during Free Games and a 15-cell Full Moon collector. This guide maps the trigger and settlement evidence for each state.

Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Moon Tiger is a five-reel, three-row Endorphina slot with 25 fixed paylines. The official product page checked on 8 October 2026 publishes 96.09% RTP, high volatility, a €0.25–€175 reference stake range and Approved status. Three Scatters start five Free Games with big central symbols; six or more moon symbols can start the Full Moon Bonus Game.

The title also includes stacked Tiger Wilds and a Starfall route that may activate Full Moon with five or fewer moon symbols. Since Starfall changes the normal trigger threshold, round-specific evidence is essential.

Base-game lines

Ordinary combinations follow the 25 fixed paths shown in help. Save that map before evaluating a spin. Record line number, symbol, consecutive reels and any Tiger Wild substitution.

The ship is identified as the highest-paying ordinary symbol, with five listed at 20× base bet. Five Tiger Wilds are also listed at 20× base bet. These are useful version anchors, not a full paytable or maximum-win figure.

Keep “base bet” attached to the multiplier until the loaded interface defines it. It may not equal total stake.

Stacked Tiger Wild

Tiger Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols except Scatter and moon Bonus symbols. It can appear stacked in the base game and Free Games.

Mark every occupied Wild cell and the fixed lines crossing it. A vertical stack fills several positions but does not multiply a line simply because one graphic is tall. Each active line uses the cell on its path.

Wild cannot replace a missing Scatter on reels one, three or five, and it cannot complete a moon count for Full Moon. Calculate line and feature eligibility separately.

Scatter positions and Free Games

Three or more Scatters trigger five Free Games. The Scatters appear only on reels one, three and five. Capture the qualifying grid and confirm one symbol on each permitted reel.

During Free Games, reels two, three and four unite as one central reel carrying big symbols. One big symbol represents nine standard symbols of a kind. It is a single 3×3 area, not nine independent reel stops.

Record the starting counter and the central big symbol on every feature spin. Any outer-reel symbols and Wilds still need to align under the current 25-line rules.

Evaluating a big symbol

A big symbol covers the nine cells formed by the three middle reels and three rows. To audit a line, map the relevant path through that area and identify which covered positions contribute.

Do not automatically pay nine copies of a symbol. The provider says one big symbol equals nine standard symbols of a kind, but the paytable and line map determine how those cells participate in winning combinations.

Take a screenshot before animation reduces or replaces the large artwork. History should identify the resulting line wins rather than only showing the visual centre piece.

Big Bonus symbol

If the large central symbol during Free Games is the Bonus symbol, it triggers the Full Moon Bonus Game according to the official description. Preserve the Free Games counter before moving into Full Moon and after returning.

This nested bonus remains part of the original paid round. There should not be another stake debit. The feature total may incorporate Full Moon as a child settlement under the same round ID.

Do not apply the normal six-moon threshold to a single big Bonus symbol. It has its own stated feature route in Free Games.

Standard Full Moon trigger

In the base game, six or more moon Bonus symbols trigger Full Moon. Each qualifying moon must be counted as a Bonus symbol, not an ordinary moon-themed picture.

The feature uses a 15-cell collection grid. Regular moon prizes can reach 20× total bet, while named jackpots include MIN, MID, MAX and ULTRA under the product’s symbol summary.

Record the triggering moon coordinates, the transition and every fixed value carried into the bonus grid. Printed moon values are feature values, not base-game line wins.

Starfall alternative

Endorphina says five or even fewer moon symbols may activate Starfall and trigger the Bonus Game as normal. The public summary does not publish a simple deterministic threshold for Starfall.

Therefore, never report five moons as a universal standard trigger. Capture the Starfall animation, initial moon count and history label. The activation is a separate random route, not evidence that the normal six-symbol rule has changed.

If fewer than six moons enter Full Moon without a visible Starfall label, consult the current help and operator history before classifying the event.

Full Moon collection and jackpots

The Full Moon grid offers regular prizes up to 20× total bet and three named jackpots up to 100× total bet in the detailed provider description, plus the Ultra condition. The exact mapping for MIN, MID and MAX must come from the loaded table.

Do not assign invented currency amounts to a label. Record the printed multiplier, total stake and settled value. If a jackpot is dynamic in a particular build, save its timestamp and currency.

Collecting all 15 Bonus symbols awards Ultra at 1000× total bet. Confirm whether that amount replaces or supplements collected values by reading the current help; do not build a maximum from isolated figures.

Fifteen-cell audit

Number positions from top left to bottom right. For each collection step, log newly occupied cells, printed values, jackpot labels and any attempt counter. A value remaining visible on a locked moon is not newly awarded every time the grid updates.

Capture the full final grid and the settlement recap. If history supplies one inclusive total, do not add every animation value again.

A nearly full grid does not mean the last moon is due. Each random event remains independent under the game’s model.

Classic Risk Game

The Classic Risk Game is listed as available. It occurs after an eligible settled win and remains separate from big-symbol lines and Full Moon collection.

Save the eligible amount before entering, every decision and the final value. An operator can disable Risk without changing the base feature rules.

Declining the option preserves the ordinary settlement. Risk should never be used as a recovery plan.

RTP, high volatility and stakes

The 96.09% provider RTP is a theoretical long-run reference. It does not predict Starfall, a Full Moon fill or the next stacked Tiger. High volatility describes uneven distribution, not a timetable.

The €0.25–€175 range is supplier metadata in euros. It does not establish NZD limits or steps. Save the live currency and total debit before citing any stake.

If live help shows another RTP, publish it separately with operator, game version and date. Do not silently replace or average figures.

Mobile and demo checks

On a phone, ensure the 3×3 big symbol remains recognisable without hiding outer reels, line results or the Free Games counter. The Full Moon grid must show all 15 values clearly.

Test portrait, landscape, enlarged text and browser restoration. After returning from a nested bonus, verify that the remaining Free Games counter and round ID are preserved.

A permitted demo can show interface and mechanics but cannot prove real-money availability, operator RTP or New Zealand access. Label all demo evidence with mode and date.

Reconstructing a complete round

Begin with title, game ID, version, operator, date, device, currency, stake and displayed RTP. Save the 25-line map, Scatter reel restriction, Wild exclusions and Full Moon instructions.

For Free Games, log the central big symbol and the line awards for each spin. For Full Moon, map every cell and identify whether entry came from six moons, Starfall or a big Bonus symbol.

Reconcile opening balance minus one paid debit plus the final round credit. Add Risk only if selected after settlement. Keep the history record for support.

Common interpretation errors

  • Allowing Tiger Wild to replace Scatter or moon Bonus.
  • Placing Scatter on reels two or four.
  • Treating a big symbol as nine separate random stops.
  • Calling five moons the standard Full Moon threshold.
  • Ignoring Starfall when fewer than six moons trigger.
  • Awarding locked moon values repeatedly.
  • Assigning invented amounts to jackpot labels.
  • Treating 1000× Ultra as an unconditional overall maximum.

Separating entry route, grid state and final history prevents these mistakes.

Who may prefer the format

Moon Tiger may suit readers who like fixed lines but want a dramatic central-symbol feature and a separate collector bonus. Its three feature routes create useful visual evidence points.

It may be less suitable for someone who dislikes high volatility, nested features or jackpot labels that require live-table checks. A collection grid can end without filling all positions.

Final assessment

Moon Tiger has three distinct rule states: a 25-line base grid, five Free Games with a unified 3×3 centre and a 15-cell Full Moon collector. Full Moon can begin through six moons, Starfall or a big Bonus symbol during Free Games.

Endorphina supports 96.09% RTP, stacked Wilds, the 20× regular prize ceiling and 1000× Ultra condition. Live help must still confirm the exact jackpot table, attempt logic, account access, stakes and deployed RTP.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
