Kamchatka by Endorphina: Geyser Bonus and Free Games explained

Kamchatka combines 243 fixed ways with two distinct features: a five-pick Geyser Bonus and 15 Free Games with stacked Wilds and a doubled win multiplier.

Kamchatka is a five-reel, three-row slot using 243 fixed ways rather than paylines. Endorphina publishes a 96.08% RTP, medium volatility and a €0.30–€90 supplier stake range. Its main rules divide cleanly into a Scatter-triggered Free Games feature and a separate Geyser pick bonus.

Those figures describe the provider page checked on 8 October 2026. They do not prove that a New Zealand-facing operator carries the title, uses the same RTP or converts the euro range directly into NZD. The version loaded in an account and its help screen remain the operational source.

Published configuration

The euro range is a product reference, not a local deposit or staking recommendation. Before recording a round, save the currency, denomination, total stake, title version and displayed RTP.

How 243 ways are evaluated

With five reels and three positions per reel, a paying way usually starts on the leftmost reel and continues across adjacent reels. The game does not require symbols to sit on a drawn line. If three matching symbols appear on reels one, two and three, each usable position can contribute to the number of ways.

That does not mean every visible duplicate is payable. A matching symbol on reel four cannot bridge a missing match on reel three. To audit a result, count qualifying positions on each consecutive reel, multiply those counts, then apply the paytable value for the match length. Use the in-game breakdown whenever it is available.

Volcano Scatter and 15 Free Games

Three or more volcano Scatters trigger 15 Free Games. The official symbol section also states that five Scatters award 100x the base bet. Keep the direct Scatter award separate from the value of the feature so the trigger round is not counted twice.

Free Games use a x2 multiplier and can include stacked Wilds. Record the counter before the first spin, each round credit and the final summary. If the feature can be retriggered in the deployed build, the counter history is stronger evidence than an animation.

Bear Wild and stacked symbols

The bear is Wild and substitutes for regular paying symbols, but not for the volcano Scatter or Geyser. Endorphina lists five Wilds at 17x base bet. Wilds may appear stacked in the base game and during Free Games, which can increase the number of valid 243-way combinations without changing the pay system.

When several Wild positions appear on one reel, do not apply the 17x figure to each position. First identify the final symbol combination represented by the Wilds, then use the game’s ways breakdown. A Wild may support more than one symbol family in the same result, but the engine decides the settlement.

Geyser Bonus as a separate route

The pick feature is triggered when Geyser symbols appear simultaneously on reels one and five. This is not the same as landing volcano Scatters. The feature offers five picks, and the provider FAQ states published prizes range from 2x to 15x total bet.

For a clean record, capture the triggering reels, total stake, each selected object, each revealed multiplier and the feature total. Do not add the largest possible published pick five times unless that exact sequence occurred. The phrase “up to 15x” describes an individual published prize range, not a guaranteed total.

Symbol hierarchy

The deer is the highest regular symbol and is published at 12x base bet for five. The bear Wild sits outside that regular hierarchy because it substitutes. Volcano and Geyser symbols have triggering roles and should not be treated as ordinary animals merely because they occupy reel cells.

A useful worksheet therefore has separate columns for regular combinations, Wild-supported ways, direct Scatter credit and Geyser Bonus credit. That separation makes the round reproducible without guessing which animation produced which balance change.

Bonus Pop and Risk Game

Endorphina lists Bonus Pop and Risk Game among the core features. The provider notes that Bonus Pop availability can vary by jurisdiction. If a paid entry control is present, record its displayed price, the feature it enters and any alternate RTP notice before activation.

Risk Game is a post-win decision rather than part of the reel probability. Preserve the original settled win, the amount risked, the selection and the final outcome. If the risk attempt loses, the reel win was still valid; it was subsequently placed at risk.

RTP and medium volatility

The published 96.08% is a long-run theoretical return for the referenced configuration. It is not a prediction for 15 Free Games, five Geyser picks or a single session. Medium volatility is a broad distribution label, not a promise of regular feature entry.

Do not infer that a long sequence without a volcano makes one “due”. Every new round follows the deployed rules. Decide money and time limits before starting and never increase stakes to recover an earlier balance movement.

Mobile and interruption checks

Endorphina states that Kamchatka is available on mobile and tablet. That establishes product capability, not access through a particular NZ account. On a small screen, confirm all fifteen cells, the Free Games counter, pick values, total stake and balance remain readable.

If a connection drops during a Geyser pick or Free Game, do not replay from memory. Reopen round history, note the round ID and compare the settled balance. Server settlement can complete even when the final animation was not displayed.

Worked Geyser audit

Suppose Geysers land on reels one and five and the interface opens a five-pick screen. Write the opening balance and total stake first. For each pick, record the revealed multiplier in order. Sum only those five revealed values and compare the displayed feature total with the resulting account credit.

If the interface reports the prize as multiples of total bet, multiply the verified total once by the stake used for that round. Do not apply the Free Games x2 multiplier to a Geyser result; the two features have separate rules unless the loaded help explicitly says otherwise.

Worked 243-way audit

Imagine elk symbols occupy two positions on reel one, one on reel two and three on reel three, with no elk on reel four. The candidate three-reel count is 2 × 1 × 3 = six ways. Look up the three-symbol elk value and compare the product with the game history.

If a stacked bear replaces an elk position, include it only where the engine treats it as that symbol. Repeat the count for each payable family. This method explains why a busy grid can settle differently from a simple visual count.

Evidence pack for a query

Save the title and version, active RTP, currency, total stake, UTC time, round ID, trigger grid, feature screens and before-and-after balances. For Free Games, include the start counter and final summary. For Geyser, include all five picks.

Ask support for the server-side round record and rule version. A cropped screenshot of a volcano or bear is not enough to reconstruct a 243-way payment.

Distinguishing base bet from total bet

Kamchatka’s public page uses both base-bet and total-bet language. The five-Wild and five-Scatter examples are expressed against base bet, while the Geyser FAQ describes pick prizes against total bet. Those units must not be treated as interchangeable without checking the help glossary.

Write the displayed total stake and any denomination or coin value on the same worksheet. For a Geyser pick, use the total-bet definition shown by the game. For a symbol award, follow the base-bet definition. If history reports currency credit directly, regard that settled value as authoritative and use multiplier arithmetic only as a cross-check.

This distinction also prevents a common error: multiplying a Geyser prize by 243 because the base game uses 243 ways. The pick bonus is settled by its own published multiplier, not by the number of ways.

When the interface exposes only one monetary figure, ask support which stake basis was used instead of reverse-engineering it from rounded currency. Small rounding differences can appear when denominations are converted. Preserve the original displayed values and avoid presenting a reconstructed amount as an official paytable fact.

Final assessment

Kamchatka’s useful distinction is structural: volcano Scatters open 15 multiplied Free Games, while Geysers on the outer reels open a five-pick bonus. Stacked Wilds then affect the 243-way arithmetic rather than a payline map.

The provider source supports the 5×3 grid, 243 ways, 96.08% RTP, medium volatility, feature triggers and stated multipliers. New Zealand availability, the active RTP and local stake options must still be confirmed in the loaded account.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
