IN JAZZ by Endorphina: Jazz Band Joker feature explained
IN JAZZ starts with 10 retriggerable Free Games and adds two musician Jokers to each feature spin, substituting and multiplying wins at x1, x2 or x3.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

IN JAZZ is a five-reel, three-row slot with 25 paylines. Endorphina publishes 96.06% RTP, medium-high volatility and a €0.25–€200 supplier stake range. Three or more logo Scatters start 10 Free Games, where two Jazz Band Jokers appear on every spin.
These specifications were checked on the official page on 8 October 2026. They do not prove New Zealand operator availability, a specific active RTP or local stake limits. Confirm the deployed help before using any figure.

Base-game line map
Twenty-five fixed lines cross the 5×3 grid. Copy the enabled paths from live help and use the result panel’s line numbers. Symbols that appear close together but do not follow a route are not payable.
The treble clef is Wild and substitutes for all regular symbols except Scatter. Five Wilds are published at 40x base bet. Record which lines use substitution rather than applying the Wild value to every occurrence.
Scatter trigger and direct award
The IN JAZZ sign is Scatter. Three or more symbols start 10 Free Games; five Scatters are published at 200x base bet. Preserve trigger-round line and Scatter credits separately from the feature total.
If three Scatters appear during Free Games, the feature retriggers. Record the remaining counter before the spin and the number added after settlement rather than assuming a fresh standalone feature.
Two Jazz Band Jokers per spin
The provider FAQ states that two Jazz Band Jokers appear per Free Game and substitute for symbols. The saxophone player carries x1, the double-bass player x2 and the singer x3. Record the identity, coordinate and factor of both Jokers before reading the final line credit.
Do not add x1+x3 and call the result x4 unless the loaded rules explicitly combine them that way. Multiple Joker factors may apply according to title-specific settlement logic, so the result panel must decide the arithmetic.
Joker substitution versus base Wild
The musician Jokers are a feature mechanic; the treble-clef Wild exists as the ordinary Wild. Keep them separate in the worksheet. A line can potentially include one or more substitutes with different roles.
For every highlighted route, list the regular symbol, treble-clef coordinates, musician coordinates and displayed multiplier. This prevents the singer’s x3 from being applied globally to unrelated lines.
Symbol hierarchy
The singer is the highest regular character at 32x base bet for five. The double-bass player is listed at 24x for five. Their paytable roles are distinct from their Joker appearances during Free Games.
A musician artwork on a base-game reel may be a regular symbol, while a special Joker overlay in the feature substitutes and carries a factor. Use the interface label and feature state to distinguish them.
Retrigger accounting
Build a chronological ledger with counter before spin, Scatters, added rounds, two Jokers, winning lines and credit. If the feature summary groups all rounds, use child round IDs to reconstruct the order.
Five-Scatter direct credit belongs to the round where it lands. Newly added Free Games have uncertain future value and should not be assigned a cash amount in advance.
Risk Game and Bonus Pop
The official page lists Classic Risk Game and Bonus Pop. Risk follows an eligible settled win; record the original credit before any doubling decision. A loss in Risk does not invalidate the underlying jazz-line payment.
Bonus Pop availability can vary by jurisdiction. If visible, note price, target feature and RTP disclosure. Keep paid and naturally triggered feature samples separate.
RTP and medium-high volatility
The published 96.06% is a long-run theoretical rate for the referenced configuration. It cannot predict the mix of x1, x2 and x3 Jokers in 10 Free Games. Medium-high volatility describes distribution rather than timing.
Check the active RTP in help. If another figure is displayed, preserve it with version and date and do not select the more favourable percentage for editorial copy.
Mobile and demo use
Endorphina states the game is available on mobile and desktop. This does not establish access through a New Zealand account. On mobile, verify both Joker overlays, factors, line highlights, counter, total stake and balance remain visible.
The official demo can teach symbol recognition. It does not prove real-money availability and should not be used to infer operator limits.
Worked Joker audit
Suppose the saxophone x1 appears on reel two and singer x3 on reel four. Copy all ordinary symbols first, then mark each Joker. Trace each highlighted line and identify which substitute participates.
Use the exact feature breakdown to determine whether one factor, both factors or another rule applies to a line. Sum settled currency values once. Never multiply the feature summary again simply because both characters are visible.
Worked retrigger audit
Start with 10. After each spin, subtract one. On a round with three Scatters, record the added count displayed by the game and update the counter. Preserve any direct Scatter credit separately.
If a connection interruption hides the animation, compare the last visible counter with server history. Do not replay the feature or infer missing rounds from balance alone.
Base-bet terminology
The public symbol section reports values against base bet, while an operator interface may emphasise total stake. Record line count, denomination and total debit so a 200x Scatter example is not applied to the wrong unit.
When history provides final currency credit, use it as the settlement anchor. Manual multiplier work is an explanation, not a substitute for server data.
Evidence pack for support
Save title, version, RTP, currency, total stake, UTC time, trigger grid, counter, both Joker identities and coordinates per spin, line breakdown, retriggers, summary and balances.
Ask support for the feature rule version and multiplier application order. Include the parent and child round IDs but remove unrelated personal information from any public example.
Two-Joker interaction edge cases
Two Jokers can appear on one feature spin, but their presence does not justify inventing a combined multiplier. If both participate in the same winning line, copy the line’s displayed factor and final currency credit. If they support different lines, audit each route separately.
The saxophone player’s x1 is still meaningful because the symbol can substitute even when it does not increase the numerical value. Do not discard an x1 Joker from the reconstruction; its coordinate may be necessary to complete a combination.
Where a regular musician symbol and a Joker version use similar artwork, rely on the overlay, factor label and feature state. Misclassifying a regular singer as an x3 Joker can triple a manual estimate incorrectly.
Counter and retrigger boundaries
Treat the paid trigger round, 10 starting games and any retriggered additions as distinct accounting stages. The trigger round may contain line and Scatter credits before the first Joker pair is generated. A retrigger spin can contain ordinary feature wins, Joker effects, Scatter credit and added rounds together.
Log those components in separate columns. The feature summary should equal settled child credits, not the speculative value of future added spins. If the game does not show how many rounds were added, preserve counter screenshots rather than supplying a conventional number from another title.
Mobile evidence quality
On narrow screens, two Joker labels may overlap line notices or disappear after animation. Capture the settled result panel and open detailed history before closing the feature. Test portrait and landscape layouts to confirm both factor badges remain distinguishable.
If colour or character artwork is the only differentiator, copy the accessible name from help. Text labels are more reliable than describing a performer by appearance in a support request.
Session checklist
Confirm the active 96.06% figure or record any alternative, verify 25 lines, save the Free Games description and note total stake. Decide limits before trying to reach the band feature. Musician appearances and retriggers are random and do not become due after quiet rounds.
Store the evidence securely. Public examples should omit account identifiers while retaining round IDs only when necessary for the operator query.
Final assessment
IN JAZZ’s defining feature is not merely Free Games; it is the two randomly presented musician Jokers and their x1–x3 values on every feature spin. Correct evaluation must be line-specific.
The provider source supports the grid, lines, 96.06% RTP, ten rounds, retrigger and Joker roles. Regional access and active deployment remain account-level facts.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
