Gladiators by Endorphina: sticky Wild teams and RTP evidence
A calculation-led guide to the 21-line fish arena, Scatter tiers, winning-team selection, laurel Wild persistence and optional controls.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Gladiators is a five-reel, three-row Endorphina slot with 21 paylines. The provider publishes 94.76% RTP, high volatility and a €0.21–€105 stake range. Three, four or five Bonus Scatters trigger 10, 20 or 50 Free Games respectively. During the feature, wins are doubled and members of the winning gladiator team can become temporary laurel Wilds.
The official page was checked on 8 October 2026. It establishes supplier rules, not availability at a New Zealand operator, NZD support or identical account limits. Verify those fields in the deployed help.

The 21 lines remain active in base play and the feature. A group of colourful gladiators only pays when it follows an enabled route from the first reel. Use the line drawer rather than treating the grid as a cluster system.
Scatter tiers
Three Bonus symbols award ten Free Games, four award twenty and five award fifty. Save the triggering grid and count before the transition because the difference is material. Free Games can be won again during the feature and run at the current bet.
A retrigger should be recorded as a counter change, not as a new cash award. Note the counter before the child spin, new Scatters, spins added and counter after settlement.
Winning-team selection
After each feature spin, the game determines which gladiator team has the majority on the reels. If different teams appear in equal quantities, Endorphina says a defined priority selects the winner. The accessible page does not spell out that complete priority order, so it must be read from the deployed paytable.
Record the count of each team before the selection animation. If a tie is resolved unexpectedly, send those counts and the live priority table to support. Do not invent a ranking from character colour or paytable value.
Laurel sticky Wilds
Every gladiator in the winning team receives a laurel wreath, remains in place for the next Free Game and becomes Wild. The wreath is removed when no gladiator lands on that position after the following spin. This is conditional one-step persistence, not a promise that every marked position stays until feature end.
Maintain a position ledger for all fifteen cells: team before selection, wreath added, next-spin replacement and retained or removed state. That record explains transitions which a fast animation can obscure.
Joker Wild
The Joker Wreath is the ordinary Wild and substitutes for every symbol except Bonus. It is distinct from the laurels awarded to the winning team. Label these sources separately when reconstructing a line.
Five Joker Wilds have their own paytable entry if shown in active help. Do not allow a Wild to replace the Scatter when checking whether 10, 20 or 50 spins should start.
Paytable evidence
The fish riding seahorses is the highest regular symbol, listed at 100 times base bet for five. The fish with sword and shield pays 48x for five. These are exact line values, not a documented maximum win for the whole title.
Several lines, sticky substitutions and the 2× feature factor can settle together. Capture the line subtotal before multiplication and the final child-spin credit.
RTP and high volatility
The 94.76% RTP is Endorphina’s published theoretical long-run figure for the cited profile. It is not a session repayment promise. High volatility describes uneven distribution on the supplier’s scale and cannot predict when a five-Scatter trigger will arrive.
Compare the deployed help with the official page. If another RTP appears, preserve both values with operator, game ID and date. Never average profiles or silently choose the larger figure.
Stake and base bet
The €0.21–€105 range is provider metadata. It does not confirm NZD limits. Identify total stake, line stake and base bet in the live interface before translating 100x or 48x into money.
Change one control and observe the wallet commitment. A 21-line total can differ substantially from the number beside an individual line or coin setting.
Feature arithmetic
For each Free Game, calculate ordinary line awards first. Apply substitutions, then confirm the displayed subtotal. The feature multiplies the spin win by two. Do not double a summary that already includes that factor.
The team selection and wreath changes happen around settlement but are state mechanics, not extra cash amounts. Keep them in a parallel position ledger rather than adding them to the award.
Risk Game and Bonus Pop
The official feature list includes a Risk Game and Bonus Pop. A Risk Game is a separate wager after a settled result: record prize before risk, amount exposed, choice, outcome and ending balance.
Bonus Pop may be unavailable in some jurisdictions. If present, save its price, confirmation and any separate RTP disclosure. Supplier listing does not prove local access.
Mobile and demo
Endorphina states mobile compatibility. On a narrow display, ensure all team symbols, laurel states, 21-line map, counter and total stake remain readable. Test an interruption with demo credit and compare the resumed state with history.
A demo can teach sequence but does not establish real-money availability in New Zealand. The authenticated operator catalogue supplies that evidence.
Evidence pack
Keep UTC time, operator domain, title, version, RTP, currency, stake, balances and parent round ID. Add the trigger grid, every child round, team counts, tie resolution, laurel positions, retriggers and final feature credit.
Preserve originals privately and redact account identifiers before sharing. One complete disputed spin is more useful than unrelated promotional screenshots.
Common errors
Do not describe every Scatter count as ten spins. Do not keep laurels sticky for the entire feature without checking the next-spin condition. Do not let Joker replace Bonus, and do not apply 2× twice.
Other mistakes include calling 100x a global maximum, converting euro metadata directly to NZD and claiming that a supplier demo proves New Zealand access.
Responsible session plan
Set money and time limits before play. Fifty initial Free Games can extend a feature, but they do not create extra budget or make later paid spins more favourable. Keep the original stake visible throughout.
Disable the Risk Game when another decision would conflict with the plan. Treat Bonus Pop, if available, as a separate cost rather than a shortcut to profit.
Questions for support
Ask for the active RTP, base-bet definition, complete team tie priority and exact laurel removal timing. For a disputed result, provide the child round and team counts.
If access is blocked, request the operator’s territorial rule. Do not attempt to bypass location controls.
Publication verification protocol
Recheck the source and deployed help whenever this guide is updated. Compare grid, line count, Scatter tiers, Free Games multiplier, team-priority table, laurel duration, Wild exclusions, RTP and stake range one field at a time. A changed RTP does not prove that the team mechanic changed, and a new interface does not prove that settlement rules changed.
Archive one ordinary win, one three-Scatter trigger and one complete laurel transition. Attach date, operator and build to every capture. If two primary sources disagree, show both dated values and request clarification rather than merging them.
For readers deciding whether the game suits them, the practical questions are simple: can the full stake be seen, is 94.76% displayed in this build, can the team priority be opened, and can session controls be set before play? If any answer is no, pause instead of filling the gap with a review-site claim.
Treat the feature counter and balance as separate evidence streams. The counter proves duration; the wallet proves settlement. A long animation or a large team majority does not alter the published multiplier unless the help explicitly records another factor. Keep notes factual, timestamped and tied to one version.
For every retrigger, preserve the Scatter positions and the exact counter increase shown after settlement. This final check distinguishes awarded spins from a replayed transition.
Short answers
How many lines? Twenty-one.
What is the official RTP? 94.76%.
How many Free Games? Ten, twenty or fifty from three, four or five Scatters.
Are feature wins multiplied? Yes, by two.
Do laurels stay forever? No; their next-spin retention is conditional.
Is NZ access confirmed? Not by the supplier page.
Final assessment
Gladiators combines clear Scatter tiers with a less ordinary team-state system. A reliable audit separates line payments, 2× settlement and laurel position changes. That prevents a visual state from being mistaken for cash value.
Use the provider page as baseline and the live build for account facts. The result is verifiable without promising availability or outcomes.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
