Football Superstar by Endorphina: sticky-Wild feature guide

Football Superstar uses 50 fixed lines on a 5×4 grid, then changes the tracking problem during Free Games by keeping landed Wild footballs sticky.

Football Superstar is a five-reel, four-row game with 50 fixed paylines. Endorphina publishes 95.89% RTP, medium-low volatility and a €0.50–€200 supplier stake range. Three Cup Scatters start 10 Free Games; Wild footballs that land during the feature remain sticky until it ends.

These are provider specifications checked on 8 October 2026, not proof of New Zealand operator availability. Confirm the title, version, active RTP, currency and controls in the live help before applying the figures to a real round.

Reading the 50-line base game

Fixed paylines require exact paths. A row of similar-looking symbols outside an enabled line is not automatically a win. Open the line map, label each reel from left to right and retain the highlighted route shown in history.

The 5×4 grid gives each line more possible row positions than a three-row game, but the number of active lines remains 50. Total stake and line stake are different quantities; use the definition displayed in the live help before reproducing a multiplier.

Cup Scatter and feature entry

The Cup is the Scatter. Three Scatters trigger 10 Free Games and the official symbol information publishes a 2x base-bet award for three. Scatter placement is limited to reels one, two and three according to Endorphina’s FAQ.

During Free Games, another three-Cup combination adds five rounds. Reconcile the counter chronologically: previous remaining games, minus the completed spin, plus five for the retrigger. Keep direct Scatter credit separate from the added-round value.

Sticky Wild footballs

The football is Wild and substitutes for regular symbols but not the Cup Scatter. Endorphina says Wilds appear on reels two through five. When one lands in Free Games, it stays in its position for the rest of the feature.

Create a four-by-five grid for the feature. After each spin, mark any new Wild coordinate and carry all earlier marks forward. This makes it possible to distinguish a newly landed Wild from one retained from a previous round.

Sticky does not mean expanding, moving or multiplying. It means the symbol remains at that coordinate. Any additional behaviour must be supported by the loaded help, not inferred from the animation.

Retriggers with an evolving grid

A retrigger extends the lifespan of every retained Wild. This can change the potential value of five added spins, but it does not guarantee a winning route. Record the counter and sticky grid immediately before and after the retrigger.

If the feature summary combines all credits into one total, reconstruct spin-level values from round history. Do not assign the entire feature total to the retriggering spin or treat retained Wilds as new awards each time they appear.

Symbol values and substitution

Endorphina identifies the football player as a leading regular symbol, with a published 2x base-bet value for three. A blonde-woman symbol is listed at 1.5x for three. Those figures illustrate the paytable hierarchy but do not replace the full table.

When a Wild completes a combination, identify which regular symbol it represents and which exact payline is highlighted. A single sticky Wild can support multiple independent lines in one result; count the settled lines, not the number of visual connections imagined across the grid.

Bonus Pop and Risk Game

Bonus Pop and Risk Game are listed by the provider. Bonus Pop may depend on casino and jurisdiction. If a paid feature control is visible, record its price, entry conditions and any RTP change before using it.

Risk Game follows an eligible settled win. Keep the original line result separate from the later risk decision. Record the amount offered, selection, outcome and closing balance so a lost risk attempt is not mistaken for an unpaid reel result.

RTP and medium-low volatility

The published 95.89% RTP is theoretical and long-run. It does not mean that 95.89 units return from every 100 staked in a session. Medium-low volatility is a broad model label and cannot predict when three Cups or a useful sticky Wild will arrive.

The most important live check is whether the deployed help repeats 95.89%. If it does not, preserve the active figure and version. Never average two configurations or choose the higher number for an article example.

Mobile usability

Endorphina states the game is playable on computer and mobile. Product compatibility does not prove access in New Zealand. On a phone, verify the complete 5×4 grid, all sticky positions, Free Games counter, total stake and result panel remain visible.

Test a history reopen after rotating the device. A sticky-Wild feature is difficult to audit from a final screenshot alone, so round-by-round history matters more than decorative animation quality.

Worked feature ledger

Suppose a Wild lands at reel three, row two on Free Game one. Mark C2 as sticky. On game four, another Wild lands at E4; retain both C2 and E4 on every remaining grid. If three Cups then add five games, write the counter change in the same row.

For each spin, list highlighted paylines and credit. Sum those credits once and compare them with the feature summary. The retained Wilds are inputs to the line calculation, not separate prizes.

Checking a disputed line

Take the line number from the result panel and copy its four row positions across five reels. Replace Wild coordinates with the symbol they support. Then compare the consecutive left-to-right match with the paytable.

If the route seems incomplete, check whether the history image was captured before the sticky overlay settled. Ask support for the server result rather than relying on a screenshot taken during an animation transition.

Evidence pack for support

Provide title, version, RTP, currency, UTC time, round ID, total stake, Cup trigger, initial counter, every sticky coordinate, retriggers, feature summary and balances. A short video can add context, but still images and round IDs are easier to match with server logs.

Ask which rule version governed the round and whether the result panel reports total stake or line stake. That terminology can explain an apparent multiplier mismatch.

Sticky-state edge cases

A Wild that lands on the final scheduled Free Game still participates in that spin, but it has no guaranteed future round in which to remain. If the same spin also retriggers, preserve the ordering shown by the counter and history to confirm that the new Wild carries into the added games.

If a retained Wild appears to disappear, first check whether the feature ended, the interface changed orientation or the history screenshot shows a pre-settlement frame. A genuinely missing coordinate should be reported with the immediately preceding and following round IDs.

Two sticky Wilds on the same reel do not create an extra payline. They occupy two positions that may support different enabled routes. Reconstruct each highlighted line independently and sum the currency credits once.

A practical pre-play checklist

Before a real-money round, open the information panel and note the active RTP, 50-line map, total-stake label and Free Games rules. Check that the title is Football Superstar rather than another football-themed product and that the version identifier remains stable after reload.

Set a fixed session ceiling that does not depend on reaching three Cups. Feature entry is uncertain, and a sticky grid can still produce no meaningful return. A stop point chosen in advance is more reliable than extending play because the feature “looks close”.

After the session, export or screenshot the relevant history while identifiers are still available. This small routine is more useful than attempting to reconstruct a sticky sequence from memory.

If history groups the whole feature under one parent round, save that parent ID together with each child spin. Support may search by only one of those identifiers. Keep the evidence securely in chronological order so the first appearance and continued presence of every Wild can be verified without inference.

Final assessment

Football Superstar is best understood as a conventional 50-line game whose feature creates persistent state. The audit challenge is not counting Cups; it is tracking every sticky Wild across a retriggerable sequence.

The provider page supports the grid, lines, 95.89% RTP, medium-low volatility, ten starting rounds, five-round retrigger and sticky-Wild rule. Availability and the exact live configuration remain account-level facts.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
