Cockroach Fortune: three champions, three ledgers

Red, green and blue boxing gloves lead to different bonus states. This review records each champion route without confusing animations with settlement.

Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Cockroach Fortune by Endorphina uses a 5×3 grid and 30 fixed lines. Its checked studio page publishes 96.07% RTP, medium volatility, a €0.30–€180 reference range and Pending status. Hold and Win, Pick Game, Pile, Free Games and jackpots are listed as core features.

The boxing story is organised around red, green and blue champions. Each colour has a different trigger token and record type. This guide treats the provider page as dated product evidence, not proof of a New Zealand operator listing.

Provider-page configuration

Field Published value
Grid 5×3
Lines 30 fixed
RTP 96.07%
Volatility Medium
Bet reference €0.30–€180
Page status Pending
Bonus Pop Not listed

The euro values are not NZD limits. Before a session, record the actual account-currency stake steps, game ID and RTP shown in help. Pending status makes it especially important not to imply universal release.

Base paytable and Wild

The Championship Belt is the top regular symbol. The provider publishes 40× base bet for five. “Base bet” must be taken from the loaded rules; it may not equal the total amount debited across 30 lines.

Boxing rings are Wild and substitute for symbols other than Boxing Gloves and Bonus Rounds symbols. They can appear in the main game and Free Games. For a line win, record the line number, symbols, Wild positions and final credit rather than estimating from the animation.

Glove tokens and champion states

Red, green and blue gloves are Tokens. They appear only in the main game, leave the grid and may trigger the corresponding champion route. Maintain one counter for each colour. A mixed set cannot be treated as progress toward one bonus unless live help explicitly says so.

Record the state before and after a glove leaves the reel. If the counter changes without a feature opening, note collection only. If a champion is knocked out, save the trigger round ID and then start the appropriate child ledger.

Red Champion Free Games

The studio description assigns red gloves to 20 initial Free Games. During that sequence, a Bonus Rounds symbol can add three, five, seven or ten spins. The page does not say that every appearance awards the same quantity.

Number every free round, write the remaining counter after any extension and reconcile the final feature credit. An extension changes the sequence length; it is not a separate cash win. If the starting count or retrigger table differs in live help, report the observed build instead of forcing the public description onto it.

Green Champion Hold and Win

Green gloves lead to Hold and Win. The source lists cash symbols from 1× through 30× total bet, three named jackpots and a 1000× Red Jackpot for collecting all 15 positions. Create a 5×3 grid record and mark the initial values before the first respin.

After each respin, note new positions and the attempts remaining. A reset should be recorded only when the counter visibly resets. At settlement, sum regular symbols separately from jackpot awards and compare the total with history. Filling 15 positions is an observed condition, not a reason to continue another session.

Blue Champion Pick Me

Blue gloves open an 18-briefcase selection route. The provider states that regular prizes may reach 10× total bet and names MIN, MID, MAX and ULTRA awards. It does not turn an unopened briefcase into a known value.

Write down the pick order and every revealed result. Stop the ledger when the rules declare the feature complete. If the animation reveals unselected cases afterwards, label those as display-only unless history credits them.

Pile and settlement boundaries

Pile appears in the feature list but lacks a full public rule on the checked page. Do not import its behaviour from another game. Record the object collected, threshold, persistence and reset directly from the loaded help.

All three champion routes can contain several visual stages. The account ledger still needs one parent paid round and one final settlement. Intermediate totals should be annotated as states, not added again to the closing balance.

RTP and medium volatility

The 96.07% value is a theoretical long-run reference for the provider page. It neither predicts a session nor confirms every certified build. Save the current help percentage and date whenever making a version-specific statement.

Medium volatility is Endorphina’s category, not a promise of regular prizes. Long losing runs and clustered wins remain possible. Compare affordability through the live minimum and session cap, not by assuming a label smooths results.

Demo, mobile and usability

The provider offers a demo link and describes mobile support. Access may be restricted by age, jurisdiction or the host site. Demo presence is not evidence that real-money play is available to a New Zealand account.

On mobile, verify that glove colours also have labels or shapes, the Free Games counter remains visible and all 15 Hold cells fit without horizontal scrolling. Pick briefcases must remain distinguishable after screen rotation. If colour is the only cue, note the accessibility limitation.

New Zealand availability

The checked public jurisdiction list does not name New Zealand. That is not a complete legal conclusion, but it prevents this page from claiming local availability. Search the actual operator lobby after sign-in and record the exact domain and game identifier.

Supplier status and operator permission answer different questions. A provider’s Malta registration or technical approval does not establish that a casino may accept a particular player. Keep the two claims separate.

Worked reconciliation

Assume a NZ$0.60 paid round collects a green glove and opens Hold and Win. Record NZ$0.60 once as the debit. If symbols display 2×, 5× and 10× values, retain them in the feature grid and wait for the final credit. Do not add the displayed subtotal to a final amount that already includes it.

If history shows NZ$10.20 credited, the reconciliation is opening balance minus NZ$0.60 plus NZ$10.20. The example explains bookkeeping only; it does not assert a particular live paytable or expected result.

Support-ready evidence

For a disputed red route, provide the trigger round, starting spin count, each extension and final history credit. For green, include the cell ledger and counter. For blue, include pick order and revealed award. Always state local time with time zone, account currency and game ID.

Redact personal and payment data. Contact support through the verified operator channel and never disclose passwords or one-time codes. A short chronological record is more useful than many unrelated screenshots.

Common questions

Is the 1000× value a normal line win?

No. The official description associates it with collecting all 15 Hold and Win symbols. Verify the loaded rule.

Does every glove trigger its champion?

No such guarantee is published. The source says gloves may trigger their corresponding route.

Is Bonus Pop included?

The checked page says it is not. Optional controls should still be verified in live help.

Can the demo confirm NZ availability?

No. Demo access and real-money operator availability are separate claims.

Separating knockout animation from a trigger

The champion presentation can include punches, a falling opponent, crowd effects and a belt screen. None of those elements should be used alone to decide what was awarded. The reliable chain is glove accepted, colour meter changed, bonus title opened, rule counter started and history settled. Capture those checkpoints rather than a random dramatic frame.

If the animation plays after a connection interruption, match its round ID with the earlier event. A replay is not another paid spin or another bonus. Conversely, if history contains two different debits and two identifiers, keep the records separate even when the same champion appears twice.

Checking Free Games extensions

For the red route, prepare a table with columns for free-round number, counter before the round, Bonus Rounds symbol, extension awarded and counter afterwards. The published extension values are three, five, seven or ten, but the loaded help must establish the symbol pattern and timing. Do not infer an extension from artwork that resembles the Bonus Rounds icon.

The final number of free rounds equals the starting allocation plus confirmed extensions, not the highest counter ever displayed. A counter can decrease and then rise; adding every screen value would exaggerate the sequence.

Comparing cost and feature complexity

At the live minimum, calculate how many ordinary rounds fit the session budget. Keep feature purchases out of that estimate because the checked provider page says Bonus Pop is not included. If an operator displays another paid shortcut, document it as a deployment-specific control rather than attributing it to this source.

Medium volatility does not make the game automatically suitable for a small budget. Thirty fixed lines and the live stake increment determine actual debits. The clearest choice is the one whose rules and cost can be understood before the first round.

Final assessment

Cockroach Fortune’s useful structure is a three-colour evidence map: red needs a spin ledger, green a grid ledger and blue a pick ledger. That distinction makes the feature-heavy game easier to audit than its animated boxing presentation suggests.

Use the provider figures as dated references and the loaded help as deployment evidence. Keep a firm time and spending boundary; champion progress does not make a future result due.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
