Cash Tank by Endorphina: both-ways paylines and re-spin guide

Cash Tank compresses its rules into ten paylines with wins evaluated in both directions. Its stacked Wild can expand on the middle reels and start up to three re-spins.

Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Cash Tank is a five-reel, three-row game with 10 paylines that can pay from left to right and from right to left. Endorphina publishes 96.01% RTP, medium volatility and a €0.10–€200 supplier stake range. Its tank Wild appears stacked on reels two, three and four, expands across the reel and can trigger up to three re-spins.

Those facts describe the provider profile checked on 8 October 2026. They do not guarantee availability or identical settings at any New Zealand-facing operator. Confirm the live title, version, currency, RTP and help before staking.

The euro range must stay labelled as a supplier reference. An operator can apply another currency, minimum, maximum or step size. The account interface is the source for transactional limits.

What “win both ways” changes

On a conventional left-only line, a combination starts at reel one. Cash Tank’s provider description says its ten lines can also award combinations running from the opposite edge. That doubles evaluation direction, not the number of line shapes.

For a disputed round, open the line overlay and mark each route once. Check it left-to-right, then right-to-left, applying the live paytable. Do not treat a sequence beginning in the middle as valid merely because both directions are available; it still needs to connect from an outer reel under the rules.

If a single arrangement qualifies in both directions, rely on the game’s highlighted settlement and help wording rather than automatically doubling it. The current build determines whether separate directional awards are displayed.

Expanding tank Wild and re-spins

The tank substitutes for regular symbols and appears stacked only on reels two, three and four. It expands to cover the reel and triggers a re-spin. Endorphina says the sequence can provide up to three re-spins.

That wording creates a specific audit order. First save the initiating grid. Record which middle reel contained the tank and how many positions it occupied before expansion. Then capture the full-reel state, the re-spin counter and every replacement grid. A final screenshot without the initiating state cannot show why the sequence began.

Expansion is not the same as persistence. If the full-reel Wild stays for a re-spin, document that observed behaviour and check it against live help; do not assume it remains for all later re-spins. Likewise, “up to three” is a ceiling, not a promise that every trigger produces three.

Symbol values and base-bet wording

The official page identifies the dollar sign as the highest ordinary symbol at 100× base bet for five. The bag is listed at 50× and the money symbol at 20×. These examples need the active paytable’s definition of base bet before conversion to currency.

Keep coin value, line stake and total stake in separate fields. A multiplier applied to base bet may differ materially from one applied to total stake. The settled history is more reliable than a mental calculation based on the largest number in the stake control.

Risk Game is an optional second decision

Endorphina lists a classic Risk Game. It occurs after an eligible win and should be logged separately from the slot settlement. Record the original credit first, then the amount offered to Risk, the choice, the result and final balance.

A failed Risk attempt does not erase evidence that the base round paid correctly. Conversely, a successful gamble does not change the RTP or mechanics of the ten-line slot. Keeping two rows in a ledger prevents the two systems from being conflated.

The supplier page says Cash Tank does not have Bonus Pop. If an operator interface labels another promotional tool similarly, do not attribute it to the studio game without matching documentation.

RTP, medium volatility and session expectations

The 96.01% RTP is theoretical and long-run. It cannot forecast the return from one re-spin chain. Medium volatility is a broad distribution label, not assurance of frequent wins or a stable session.

Choose a loss limit and a time limit that remain affordable if no tank appears. Never chase a missing re-spin by increasing stake. If the loaded help displays a different RTP, preserve that value with the version and date; operator configurations can vary.

To compare two builds, use identical fields: version, RTP, paylines, direction rule, Wild reels, re-spin ceiling and stake currency. Theme screenshots alone are insufficient.

Mobile verification checklist

On a phone, confirm that the outer reels are not cropped because both edges matter to directional evaluation. The total stake, balance, line highlight and re-spin counter should remain visible or accessible without dismissing the settled result.

Test portrait and landscape modes, open the paytable, and verify that a completed round remains available in history after reconnecting. If an animation covers the central reels, wait for settlement and capture the numerical summary.

The Endorphina demo can explain controls, but it does not prove real-money availability in New Zealand. Demo balances and stake ranges are not cash-account evidence.

A repeatable re-spin audit

Create one row for the paid spin and one row for each re-spin. Include round identifier, tank reel, pre-expansion positions, post-expansion coverage, direction of each win, credited amount and counter. The sequence should never exceed the published ceiling without an explicit version rule explaining why.

For every highlighted line, write “L→R” or “R→L”. This small notation catches a common error: counting the same route twice merely because the symbols look symmetrical. Add only the awards the result panel recognises.

If a second tank appears during a re-spin, record whether it resets, extends or leaves the counter unchanged. The public headline alone does not settle that implementation detail; the live help and server record do.

Support evidence

A useful support request contains the round ID, UTC timestamp, version, active RTP, total stake, complete grids, re-spin counter and balance movement. Ask for the server-side event sequence for the disputed round.

Avoid sending only a video of the animation. Compression and frame timing can hide line highlights. Pair any recording with history screenshots and redact personal data.

Resolving a both-ways settlement step by step

Start with an untouched grid and select one of the ten official line shapes. Read the five positions from reel one toward reel five, then reverse the same positions from reel five toward reel one. Write down the qualifying symbol count in each direction. This produces two test results for one route without inventing an eleventh payline.

If the expanding tank occupies a middle reel, substitute it only after the initial directional sequences are visible. Repeat the test against the post-expansion grid and mark which new route became valid. The difference between the two tables explains the Wild’s effect more clearly than the animation.

For a re-spin chain, retain the initiating stake as the financial input. A re-spin normally belongs to that event rather than a fresh paid round, but confirm the history shows no additional debit. If a new debit appears, stop and ask support to identify whether a separate control was used.

The ceiling of three re-spins should be tested as a sequence counter, not as three guaranteed awards. Number observed replacements R1, R2 and R3. If the chain stops after R1, that remains consistent with “up to three”. If an R4 appears, save the complete log and verify whether the interface counted a newly triggered chain.

Directional wins can be visually confusing when the same high symbol sits on both outer reels. Never infer the centre symbols from symmetry. Use the actual row position selected by the line map, and compare the numerical line breakdown supplied by history.

A clean reconciliation sheet therefore has five layers: paid grid, expanded grid, each re-spin grid, directional line calculations and final balance. With those records, a support agent can inspect the precise rule rather than attempting to interpret a general complaint about the tank.

Final assessment

Cash Tank’s distinctive rule is not simply an expanding Wild. It is the combination of ten both-ways paylines with a middle-reel stacked tank that expands and initiates a limited re-spin sequence. That interaction rewards careful directional accounting.

The provider page supports the grid, 96.01% RTP, medium volatility, euro stake reference, Wild placement and ceiling of three re-spins. The live deployment remains authoritative for currency, active RTP, detailed persistence and availability.

Retain dated evidence whenever the help changes; it preserves which rule governed the disputed round.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
