3 Thunders by Endorphina: stacked Seven Wild and Free Games guide

3 Thunders starts as a compact classic fruit game, then turns its Seven into a stacked Wild during 20 Free Games. This guide follows that change without mistaking animation for an extra prize.

3 Thunders uses three reels, three rows and five paylines. Endorphina publishes 96.04% RTP, medium-high volatility and a €0.05–€200 reference stake range. Three Scatters award 10× base bet and trigger 20 Free Games, where the Seven becomes a stacked Wild.

These are provider facts checked on 8 October 2026. They do not establish that a New Zealand operator offers the game, that NZD stakes match the euro range or that every deployment uses the same RTP.

The feature list includes Scatter, Free Games, Wild, Risk and Bonus Pop. Bonus Pop can depend on casino and jurisdiction, so its catalogue presence should be reported separately from its live availability.

Reading the five-line classic grid

Ordinary combinations must land on enabled paylines across adjacent reels starting from the left. Scatters count anywhere. Only the highest combination per enabled line is paid, while different line wins and Scatter awards can be added.

The Seven is the top published ordinary symbol: three pay 100× base bet. Watermelon is a lower documented example at 20× for three. The full live paytable remains necessary for every other symbol and for defining the currency value of “base bet”.

Save the five-line overlay and a simple result. Mark the path, symbol count and displayed credit. A diagonal-looking match is valid only if it follows an enabled line, and a visible symbol should not be paid twice on the same line.

Scatter trigger and opening evidence

Three Scatters both pay 10× base bet and trigger twenty Free Games. The trigger screenshot should show all three symbols, the Scatter award and the opening feature counter. Keep the 10× payment separate until the final history record reveals whether it is already included in the feature total.

Scatters can count on any position and do not need to follow a line. Regular Wild substitution cannot create a missing Scatter. The initial feature uses the same bets and lines as the triggering spin.

Free Games can be won again. For a retrigger, save the Scatter frame and counter before and after the event. The official overview confirms that the feature can recur; current help should be used for the exact number added.

Seven becomes a stacked Wild

During Free Games the charged Seven substitutes for all ordinary symbols except Scatter and appears stacked on all reels. Depending on where a reel stops, the screen may show a full stack or only the beginning or end of the sequence.

A partial stack is not evidence that the game failed to expand a full-reel Wild. The rule describes a stacked symbol strip, not an always-expanding symbol. Record the visible Seven positions and the highlighted paylines without filling unshown cells yourself.

One stack can support several paylines. Add each line settlement once and compare the sum with the spin credit. Do not award a separate “stack multiplier” unless live help explicitly shows one; the stack supplies substitutions, while the paytable supplies amounts.

Base Seven versus feature Wild

In the base game, Seven is the highest-paying ordinary symbol. During Free Games it also becomes Wild. That dual identity creates a practical verification question: when a line of Sevens appears, does the game pay the Seven combination, use substitution for another combination or select the highest eligible award?

The general rule says only the highest win on each enabled line is paid. Capture the result breakdown for any mixed Seven line and let the live game identify the paid symbol. Do not manually add both an all-Seven award and a substituted award on the same path.

This distinction is especially important when a stack spans multiple rows. The same visible stack can support different lines, but each line still has one highest settled combination.

Building a 20-spin ledger

Create one row per free spin with columns for spin number, Scatter count, Seven positions by reel, winning lines, displayed pay and remaining counter. Add a retrigger column when the counter changes.

At the end, compare the ledger sum with the feature summary. Then compare the summary with server history. If the 10× trigger award appears in the parent round rather than within free-spin credits, label it there rather than forcing it into spin one.

If the session disconnects, wait for history to settle. A resumed animation may skip visual stages, but the round ID and account credit should remain authoritative.

Classic Risk and Bonus Pop

Classic Risk lets an eligible win face up to ten doubling decisions. A failed decision may remove the offered amount. Risk is a separate wager after settlement and should not be used when auditing the original five-line result or Free Games total.

Bonus Pop is listed as available but may not appear in all casinos or jurisdictions. If visible, capture its cost, entry route and any changed RTP statement. A paid feature shortcut does not describe how often three Scatters land naturally.

Declining both options creates the cleanest first audit. Optional controls can be tested later as separate transactions with their own debits and conditions.

RTP, volatility and stake range

The published 96.04% RTP is a theoretical long-run setting, not a forecast for twenty Free Games. Verify the active value in the loaded help; do not infer it from the title or artwork.

Medium-high volatility describes the supplier’s classification. It does not mean a stack or feature becomes due after a particular number of spins. Short results can vary substantially from the theoretical return.

The €0.05–€200 reference is denominated in euros. It is neither an NZD limit nor proof of access. Record the account’s displayed currency, minimum, increment and maximum before any real-money decision.

Mobile and demo verification

Endorphina states that 3 Thunders can be played across mobile and computer devices and provides demo routes through approved partners. Demo mode can help locate the line overlay and feature rules, but it cannot establish a real-money operator configuration.

On mobile, all nine cells, the free-spin counter, total stake and history route should remain readable. Check whether a stacked Seven animation covers the result text or close button. Rotate the device and enlarge text to detect clipping.

Save the exact title, provider, version, RTP, currency, limits, line map, optional-control status, domain and check date. For a disputed round, add timestamp, round ID, balances, trigger grid and final feature summary.

Common mistakes

  • Calling the Seven an expanding Wild rather than a stacked symbol strip.
  • Treating a partial visible stack as a broken full-reel expansion.
  • Adding both Seven pay and substituted pay on one line.
  • Counting the 10× Scatter award twice.
  • Assuming retrigger quantity from the initial twenty.
  • Folding Risk outcomes into slot RTP evidence.
  • Converting the euro range into NZD limits.

Distinguishing a stack from a full-reel state

A stacked symbol is placed repeatedly on the underlying reel strip. Because the strip can stop with only part of that sequence inside the three-row window, one, two or three Seven positions may be visible. This differs from an expanding symbol that deliberately fills every visible position after landing.

The distinction changes the audit. For 3 Thunders, record the settled visible cells rather than drawing missing Sevens into the reel. If three Sevens cover a reel, describe that as a fully visible stack in that result, not as proof that every Seven occurrence must cover the reel.

A simple settlement reconstruction

Start with the five numbered paths. For each highlighted line, write its three coordinates and the symbol the stacked Seven replaces. Look up the paytable value, then compare the sum of the five possible line settlements with the displayed spin credit. Add the Scatter award only if the result contains three Scatters and the interface has not already included it.

This reconstruction is deliberately narrow. It checks arithmetic and rule application, not whether the random result was likely. It should use one settled round and one version of the help file, identified by date and game build.

When screenshots are not enough

Fast lightning animations may obscure the grid between trigger and feature. Use the game’s history view for the authoritative final state and round ID. If history shows only totals, contact authenticated support with the timestamp and round ID rather than sending account credentials.

Record the response and any configuration identifier. A support explanation tied to one deployment should not be generalised to every operator, but it can resolve that specific settlement and support a dated correction.

Final assessment

3 Thunders is a compact classic whose feature changes the function and distribution of its top symbol. The key audit is chronological: three Scatters, opening counter, stacked Seven positions, retriggers and final history.

The official page supports the 3×3 grid, five lines, 96.04% RTP, medium-high volatility, 10× trigger award and twenty-spin feature. The current deployment decides access, live currency, exact retrigger wording and optional controls.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Endorphina, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
