Wilds of Fortune is listed by Betsoft as live from 28 July 2022. The official product page documents five reels, ten paylines, 96.33% RTP, medium/low volatility, a 20.91% hit rate and a headline maximum of 500× the bet.

Its mechanics are deliberately compact: Wilds expand on the three middle reels, expanded Wild reels start free respins, and three or more Money Bag Scatters award an automatic win. The public page identifies the structure but not the complete paytable, stake range or build number.

The combination of medium/low volatility and 20.91% hit rate should not be translated into “frequent profit”. A hit can be smaller than the stake, and volatility is a broad model label rather than a schedule.

Reading the ten-line game

The official page confirms ten paylines but does not expose their full diagrams in accessible text. Open the in-client paytable and identify each path before checking a result. Determine whether the symbol table is quoted per line bet or total bet.

With only ten lines, a grid can look visually close to a win while missing the exact path. Use the history highlight rather than drawing an assumed diagonal. When several lines share a symbol, settle them separately and then compare the sum with the credited total.

Betsoft does not publish the wager range on the accessible page. Do not infer NZD minimums from another operator or convert a foreign-currency range. Record currency, total stake and line-bet relationship from the active client.

Expanding Wild timing

Wilds appear on reels two, three and four. After all reels stop, a Wild expands vertically to cover the entire reel. The timing means the opening symbol position and the final full-reel state are both useful evidence.

Capture the pre-expansion grid, the reel that expands and the completed result. The official wording does not say that a Wild must already be part of a line win before expanding; its appearance is enough. This differs from titles where only a participating Wild expands.

Reels one and five are not listed as expanding-Wild locations. A decorative symbol on those reels should not be treated as the same mechanic unless live Help explicitly documents a new build.

Free respins: guaranteed until a win

One or more expanded Wild reels trigger free respins. Betsoft states that respins are guaranteed to continue until there is a win. This is a stopping rule, not a guaranteed profit statement.

The clean reading is that losing respins continue and the sequence ends when a winning respin occurs. To verify a deployment, record the starting expanded reels, every no-win respin, the first winning respin and the point at which normal paid play returns.

The public text does not specify whether Wild reels remain expanded throughout the sequence, move, accumulate or reset. Those details must be taken from the loaded Help rather than inferred from the feature name or animation.

“Free” describes the absence of a new stake during the respin sequence. It does not return the cost of the triggering paid spin. Keep the trigger stake in the session ledger.

Money Bag Scatter awards

Three or more Money Bag Scatters anywhere produce an automatic win, and the official page says more Scatters mean a larger award. It does not provide the exact multiplier table in accessible text.

The Scatter is therefore evaluated separately from ordinary paylines. Record the number of bags, total bet and the award line in history. Do not allow an expanding Wild to stand in for a Money Bag unless Help explicitly says it can; the product page gives no such substitution rule.

An “automatic win” still needs a documented amount. The number of Scatter symbols alone is not enough to calculate currency without the official payout factor and stake denominator.

Worked respin audit

Suppose a Wild lands on reel three. Save the initial grid, then confirm that reel three expands after the stop. That event starts the free-respin sequence. For each respin, note whether a line award occurs and whether the expanded reel state remains visible.

If the first two respins have no win, the documented condition says the sequence continues. When the third produces a win, record its line breakdown and confirm that the next action returns to ordinary paid play. This example illustrates the stop logic, not an average number of respins.

If Money Bags appear during the same sequence, keep their award separate from line wins. A history entry that combines totals should still show enough detail to reconstruct the parts; if it does not, document that limitation.

The 500× headline

Betsoft’s overview states the chance to win up to 500× the bet. Treat this as the studio’s headline cap for the product page, not as a typical result or a probability statement.

Verify the maximum clause in live Help because the accessible page does not identify a build number. Record whether “bet” means total bet and what happens if a result reaches the cap. Do not turn 500× into a currency promise without the chosen stake.

Compared with very large promotional caps, 500× is easier to understand, but it remains a ceiling. It should not determine a deposit, session budget or loss-chasing decision.

Mobile readability and accessibility

On a phone, expanding reels should remain distinct without covering total stake or balance. Test whether the ten-line diagram, respin state and Scatter award can be opened with keyboard or accessible controls.

The interface should not rely only on an animation to explain why another respin starts. A textual counter or history entry makes the “continue until a win” rule auditable. Check reduced-motion behaviour if available.

If connectivity drops during a respin sequence, reopen history and identify the original triggering round. A resumed animation may not show every server-settled step. Compare opening balance, trigger stake, all feature awards and closing balance.

Demo and New Zealand boundary

Betsoft links a demo from the official product page. The sponsored routes here are not the official Wilds of Fortune demo. Studio publication does not prove New Zealand access or availability at 22Bet.

Use operator country terms, authenticated lobby and loaded Help as separate evidence. If the title launches, save date, account currency and version. If it does not, report the tested account result rather than claiming the game is absent everywhere.

Who may prefer this format

The game may suit readers who want a small number of lines and one easy-to-observe feature sequence. Expanding middle reels and a respin chain that stops on a win can be followed with a simple round ledger.

It may not suit someone who expects complex feature choices or who interprets “guaranteed until a win” as guaranteed recovery. The final winning respin can still be smaller than the triggering stake and earlier paid losses.

Evidence checklist

A respin ledger that avoids false guarantees

Begin the ledger with the paid trigger spin, its total stake and the reel that expanded. Give every later respin its own row with opening expanded reels, new Wilds, line result, Scatter result and whether the sequence continues. Finish with the first winning respin and the return to ordinary play.

The word “guaranteed” applies to continuation until a win, not to the size of that win. Compare the terminal award with the original paid stake and with the whole session separately. A small winning respin can close the sequence without recovering earlier cost.

If additional Wilds expand during the sequence, record whether they remain. The accessible studio text does not settle that persistence rule, so the live Help and history are required. Likewise, a Money Bag award should be logged independently rather than assumed to be the win that ends the respin sequence.

Do not use the number of losing respins to predict the eventual award. The ledger proves what occurred and exposes interface errors; it does not create a progression system or make a larger outcome due.

  1. Match the exact title and Betsoft provider.
  2. Confirm 96.33% RTP in loaded Help.
  3. Identify total stake and ten payline patterns.
  4. Capture Wild position before expansion.
  5. Track every respin until the first win.
  6. Record Money Bag count and separate award.
  7. Verify the 500× clause and bet definition.
  8. Save round ID and final credit.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Betsoft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
