Wild Drops is listed by Betsoft as live from 29 July 2021. The studio page identifies five reels, 16 fixed paylines described as eight rows paying both ways, 96.11% RTP, high volatility and a 21.40% hit rate. Winning gems disappear, exposing new positions and sometimes hidden coins.

The accessible official page documents the feature sequence but not the complete paytable, stake range, build number or maximum win. Those fields remain unavailable until the loaded Help can be checked.

Horizontal matching and direction

A normal award requires at least three identical gems in a horizontal line. The provider says five of a kind on any row pays both ways. That wording does not make every three- or four-symbol match bidirectional; the loaded Help must show the exact directional rule for each length.

Treat each of the eight rows as a separate path and each direction as a separate evaluation where applicable. Save the opening field, identify the left or right origin and trace consecutive positions. Do not count matching gems on another row or across a gap.

The 21.40% hit rate is not a promise of one result in every five spins. A hit may be smaller than the stake, and high volatility describes uneven distribution rather than a calendar.

Drops and repeated clears

Winning gems disappear after evaluation. New gems occupy the cleared spaces, creating another opportunity to match. Record each board state independently: opening grid, first match, removed positions, replacement grid and any later match.

The accessible page does not publish a cascade multiplier. Do not import one from another gem game. If the deployed Help applies a multiplier or pays each clear at a different stage, capture that wording and version before adding it to the article.

Board animation can obscure whether two wins occurred in one paid round. History should keep the original stake and the combined settlement under one round ID. A new visual drop is not a new wager.

Hidden coins and five free spins

Winning removals can uncover concealed positions. Finding five hidden symbols in one spin awards five free spins on a second screen. The official overview calls them hidden coins, while the feature text says hidden symbols; the live legend should confirm the exact icon.

Use one worksheet row per drop stage and mark every uncovered coin. The trigger requires five within the paid spin, not five collected across unrelated spins unless Help explicitly says otherwise. When the feature starts, record the opening counter and verify that no new stake is deducted.

During free spins, Betsoft states that the central reel is always fully Wild. That describes the reel state and does not promise a paying result. A horizontal match still needs the required gems or Wild substitutions across its row.

Clearing the whole board

Removing every gem from the board creates an extra award. In the base game, Betsoft states a bonus prize of 5× the win added to the base win. During free spins the clear-board bonus is 10×.

The phrase “added to the base win” matters. A 5× bonus plus the original base win may settle differently from simply replacing the original award with 5×. Verify the history breakdown and avoid declaring a total factor without seeing how the client labels both entries.

For a full-board reconstruction, sum the winning rows for each clear, preserve any later matches and then identify the clear-board line separately. Do not multiply non-winning symbols or the original stake.

Worked evidence example

Imagine three blue gems align on the upper row and disappear. Record their stated paytable award, then capture the replacement grid. A second match clears another region and uncovers two coins. Continue until no match remains.

If five coins are exposed before the paid spin ends, save the transition to the five-spin screen. During those spins, confirm that the centre reel is Wild in every settled grid. If all gems are removed, check that the 10× feature bonus is listed apart from the underlying win.

This example explains order only. It does not quote symbol values or imply that five coins are likely. Only the deployed paytable can convert the sequence into currency.

RTP, stake and maximum boundaries

Betsoft publishes 96.11% RTP but no accessible stake range or maximum multiplier on the product page. Currency, minimum, maximum and cap are therefore unverified. An affiliate’s number may belong to another operator configuration.

Read RTP and total stake from Help before play. If another percentage appears, store both dated sources and label one studio-level and one deployment-specific. Never average them or select the larger value.

High volatility makes a fixed budget important. Cascading visuals can prolong one round and blur how many paid spins were started, so use history rather than memory when tracking spend.

Mobile and interruption checks

At phone width, all eight rows and both directions must remain distinguishable. The centre Wild reel, hidden coins and remaining free spins should not be covered by commercial controls. Test portrait and landscape.

If a connection fails mid-drop, wait for history to load. Compare round ID, original stake, every clear and final credit. Replayed animation may begin at another stage while the server result is already fixed.

Colour-coded gems should also differ by shape or label. Readers with colour-vision differences need a way to identify matches without hue alone.

Demo and New Zealand boundary

Betsoft links an official demo from its product page. The sponsored routes here are not that demo. A studio catalogue does not prove New Zealand access or availability at 22Bet.

Verify operator terms, authenticated lobby and loaded Help separately. If the title is absent, report only the tested account and date rather than a country-wide conclusion.

Who may prefer this format

Wild Drops may suit readers who like visible state changes and a feature whose progress can be reconstructed board by board. It may be less comfortable for anyone who prefers a fixed grid or low-variance pacing.

The clear-board multipliers are conditional awards, not targets. Stop limits should be set before the first paid round and should not expand because several gems have already disappeared.

Evidence checklist

A complete drop-chain ledger

For one paid spin, draw eight horizontal rows and number the first screen A. Circle every qualifying match and note its reading direction. After those gems disappear, redraw the replacement screen as B; continue with C, D and later states until no further award occurs. Keep all letters beneath one server round ID.

Add a coin column beside each state. A hidden coin is counted when the clearing action exposes it, not merely because a gold object appears elsewhere in the artwork. The running coin total should reset at the boundary defined by Help. The provider’s public wording supports five coins within one spin, so a counter carried from an earlier paid spin would need explicit deployment evidence.

For a complete clear, mark the state in which the last gem leaves. Record the underlying win separately from the additional 5× or 10× clear-board entry. This avoids describing “5× added to the base win” as though the original credit vanished. If history supplies only one combined number, preserve the screenshots and label the component split unreproducible.

The same ledger also reveals whether replacements are drawn from the top, refill fixed positions or transition to another screen. Those presentation details matter for auditing but do not prove a change in probability. Never use a long unfinished chain as evidence that a full clear is due.

  1. Match title and Betsoft provider.
  2. Confirm 96.11% RTP.
  3. Record total stake and row directions.
  4. Save every grid before and after a clear.
  5. Count hidden coins within one paid spin.
  6. Verify the full central Wild reel in free spins.
  7. Separate base win and clear-board bonus.
  8. Preserve round ID and closing credit.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Betsoft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
