Trinity Reels rules and sixth-reel Boost guide
A primary-source explanation of split positions, stacked mysteries, Wild/Split/Multi Boosts, ten free spins and the evidence needed to audit a high-way-count settlement.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Trinity Reels is listed by Betsoft as live from 27 October 2022. The official page publishes 95.96% RTP, high volatility, a 20.03% hit rate, six reels and as many as 177,147 ways when symbol positions split.
The first five reels can show one, two or three symbols inside a position. The sixth reel remains single-symbol and carries three special Boost types. This guide follows those mechanics without importing third-party stake limits or maximum-win claims that are absent from the accessible studio copy.

How split symbols change the grid
On reels one through five, ordinary symbols can remain single or divide into double or triple instances within one position. Scatter and Wild symbols are excluded from this split rule. The sixth reel does not split.
A position that shows three instances contributes three symbol paths, not three independent paid spins. The high ways count is therefore state-dependent. Save the entire field and count instances by reel before trying to reproduce an award.
Do not assume every spin reaches 177,147 ways. That is the published maximum. The live interface or Help should show the active count, and a settlement check should use the actual split pattern for that round.
Ways reconstruction without line diagrams
For one qualifying symbol, count its eligible instances on each consecutive reel and multiply the reel counts. A gap ends the route unless Help states another rule. Repeat for each symbol and keep Wild substitutions visible in the worksheet.
The exact minimum consecutive-reel requirement and starting-reel rule are not written in the accessible product copy. Those details must come from Help. Do not convert the maximum ways figure into a universal formula without them.
When split positions and Triple Wilds coexist, preserve whether one visual Wild contributes multiple instances. The label suggests that effect, but the calculation should be confirmed against the paytable example.
Wild Boost
Betsoft’s overview says Wild Boost spawns one or two Triple Wild symbols on reels two through five. The feature panel phrases this as turning up to two symbols into Triple Wilds. These are compatible summaries, but Help should establish the exact selection and substitution rule.
Record the original positions, chosen positions and resulting Wild instance count. A Triple Wild is not automatically a 3× prize multiplier; its name can describe three symbol instances. Do not multiply currency awards unless the rules explicitly instruct it.
Split Boost
Split Boost selects two or three positions on reels one through five and converts them into double or triple symbols. The source does not publish the selection probability or whether already split positions can be chosen.
Capture the grid immediately before and after the transformation. Recalculate the ways contribution only for symbols connected through consecutive reels. A visually larger field does not make every symbol part of a win.
Multi Boost
Multi Boost applies a randomly selected 2×, 3×, 5× or 10× multiplier to wins. The public page says multiple special Boosts can land together, but it does not explain how two Multi Boosts combine or where rounding occurs.
For a live check, save every multiplier icon and the pre-multiplier award shown in history. Determine whether multiple factors add, multiply or settle separately. Never choose the most favourable calculation when Help is silent.
Stacked Mystery symbols
Stacks of Mystery symbols can appear on a spin or cascade and transform into identical symbols. Their presence does not guarantee a win; the revealed symbol still needs a qualifying connection across reels.
Store the pre-reveal stack, common revealed symbol, any split state and all later cascades. A Mystery transformation and a sixth-reel Boost are different events, so their order should remain visible in the evidence log.
The provider mentions cascades but the accessible copy does not detail removal, multiplier progression or cascade termination. Capture those rules in the deployed Help instead of borrowing them from another avalanche game.
Free spins and a favoured Boost
Three or more Scatters award ten free spins. One Boost is selected randomly to appear more often on reel six for the duration of the feature. Betsoft also confirms that free spins can retrigger.
“More often” is not a published probability. Do not assign a frequency or claim the selected Boost appears on every spin. Record the chosen type, opening counter, each reel-six Boost, retrigger event and final summary.
If more than one Boost lands in a free spin, note the application order. The favoured type does not exclude the other two unless Help says so.
RTP, volatility and hit rate
The studio’s 95.96% RTP is a long-run model figure. High volatility describes uneven result distribution, while the 20.03% hit rate counts provider-defined paying events. Neither number predicts when split symbols or free spins will appear.
A high number of ways can create many small simultaneous combinations without making a round profitable. Do not equate route count with expected currency return. Stake and award remain the relevant settlement values.
If the live game displays an RTP range or another percentage, record the active value beside version and territory. Keep the studio figure as a dated comparison rather than averaging configurations.
Buy Feature and missing commercial settings
The official overview names a Buy Feature but the accessible feature panels do not state its price, purchased state, jurisdictional availability or separate RTP. Those fields are unavailable until the exact client shows a confirmation screen.
Similarly, Betsoft’s page does not publish minimum bet, maximum bet or maximum award in accessible text. Third-party values can vary and should not be promoted to primary facts. Capture the live denomination and cap.
Mobile audit
At phone width, verify that six reels and split sub-symbols remain distinguishable. The active ways count, free-spin counter and reel-six Boost must not be hidden behind controls. Test landscape if portrait compresses the sixth reel.
Check reduced motion and muted audio. Mystery reveals and Boost selections need persistent visual labels. After interruption, retrieve server history because a restored cascade can skip earlier transformations.
Demo and New Zealand boundary
The official product page links a Betsoft preview. Sponsored links here are not that demo. Neither the preview nor global catalogue confirms that Trinity Reels is available in a New Zealand account or at 22Bet.
Use authenticated operator evidence and current territorial terms. Record an availability check with date, account currency and title ID; do not generalise one successful launch to every NZ user.
Settlement worksheet
Create columns for reel, position, instance count, revealed symbol, Wild substitution and Boost modification. Then record consecutive-reel counts and the resulting ways for each winning symbol. Keep multiplier application in a separate column.
For cascades, start a new row while retaining the same paid round ID. For free spins, add the feature-spin number and favoured Boost. The sum of all stages should reconcile to the history total.
Recording simultaneous Boosts
Because Betsoft says more than one sixth-reel Boost can land together, a useful worksheet needs an event-order column. Capture the reel-six symbols before animation, then note whether Wild, Split or Multi resolves first. Preserve the grid after each transformation rather than saving only the final state.
If Split Boost creates extra instances before Wild Boost selects positions, the resulting route count may differ from the reverse order. Multi Boost should be attached to the award stage shown in history. Do not choose an order based on which produces a larger result.
Run the same check during free spins, where one Boost is selected to appear more often. The favoured label changes frequency, not necessarily priority. A second Boost can still require its own settlement record.
Where the interface resolves everything at once, use the Help example or detailed history. If neither reveals sequence, report the combined effect as observed and leave internal order unavailable. This is more accurate than reverse-engineering hidden steps from animation speed.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Betsoft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
