Betsoft lists Super Sugar Pop – HOLD & WIN as live from 24 October 2024. The official page publishes a six-reel, five-row grid, pays-anywhere evaluation, 96.50% RTP, high volatility and a 24.44% hit rate.

Eight or more Bonus symbols trigger Hold & Win. Double, Collect and Crush then affect Bonus values in different ways. Four or more Scatters award ten free spins where Multiplier Bombs range from 2x to 100x and the feature can retrigger.

Base cascades and pays anywhere

The provider describes a specialised cascading-reels game. Capture the initial grid, qualifying symbols, cleared positions and every replacement stage.

“Pays Anywhere” must be defined by Help: record minimum matching count and whether symbols need adjacency. Do not assume the rule matches a cluster or scatter-pay title from another studio.

Keep cascade awards separate by stage. A Multiplier Bomb belongs to free spins, not automatically to ordinary cascading results.

Hold & Win entry

Eight or more scattered Bonus symbols trigger the feature. Draw all 30 cells, copy each starting Bonus value and preserve the opening counter from live Help.

The public page does not state the number of respins or reset conditions. Record them directly from the deployed interface rather than importing a standard Hold & Win pattern.

Every new Bonus or special symbol should be logged by coordinate and settlement order. The three special types perform different operations.

Double symbol

Double increases some Bonus values. Record every value before and after the effect and identify the affected coordinates.

The public source does not publish selection count, doubling limits or repeat behaviour. Do not assume it changes every Bonus on the board.

If more than one Double appears, save the resolution sequence. Current Help must determine whether later effects can target already increased values.

Collect symbol

Collect gathers all Bonus values. Preserve the board before collection and calculate the raw sum independently.

Record whether special-symbol values contribute and whether collected Bonus symbols remain, clear or reset. The provider summary does not answer those lifecycle details.

A displayed collection is not necessarily the final feature total if respins continue. Keep interim collections separate from final settlement.

Crush symbol

Crush destroys all Bonus symbols on its reel. Mark the reel, removed coordinates and values before the animation.

Because this can remove visible value, it must not be described as a universal enhancement. Its effect depends on the current reel and subsequent rules.

Check whether crushed positions become available for new symbols and whether removed values were credited first. Only live Help and history can settle that order.

Free spins with Multiplier Bombs

Four or more Scatters pay and award ten free spins. Multiplier Bombs during the feature range from 2x to 100x, and free spins can retrigger.

Record the trigger award separately from the ten-spin counter. On each spin, map Bomb positions, values, base win and final multiplier application. Multiple Bomb arithmetic must follow Help rather than assumption.

For a retrigger, save the triggering Scatters, added spin count and new remaining total. The public page confirms retriggering but does not publish the added amount.

RTP and hit rate

The 96.50% RTP is long-run theoretical return. High volatility indicates uneven distribution, while 24.44% hit rate can include returns smaller than stake.

Use ledger columns for stake, cascade, Bonus values, Double changes, collection, crushed values, Bomb multiplier and final credit. This makes the most visually dramatic operations independently checkable.

Do not infer the frequency of 100x Bombs or Hold & Win entry from a short session or promotional video.

Limits and unavailable fields

The accessible official page does not publish stake range, maximum win, Bonus value distribution, Hold & Win counter or full paytable. Leave those fields unavailable until current Help provides them.

No Buy Bonus is documented on the cited public page. Do not add one from another Sugar Pop edition. Edition identity is part of the evidence.

Provider documentation also cannot prove New Zealand or 22Bet deployment. That requires a dated authenticated lobby record.

Mobile and continuity

On mobile, verify all six columns and five rows remain visible. Bonus face values and 2x–100x Bomb labels must be readable without zoom.

After reconnect, compare remaining feature spins, locked values and prior collections with server history. Save a round identifier if the board restarts or replays.

Accessibility checks include focus order, contrast, reduced motion and non-colour-only distinctions among Double, Collect and Crush.

Audit checklist

  • Match the exact Hold & Win edition.
  • Confirm 96.50% in Help.
  • Capture the six-by-five grid.
  • Record the pays-anywhere rule.
  • Save all eight or more triggering Bonus values.
  • Capture the opening feature counter.
  • Map every Double target.
  • Calculate every Collect sum.
  • Record every Crush reel and removed value.
  • Save Scatter count and ten spins.
  • Map each 2x–100x Bomb.
  • Record retrigger Scatters and added spins.
  • Preserve cascade stages independently.
  • Leave undocumented limits unavailable.
  • Do not claim local access without operator proof.

Worked special-symbol record

Before a special symbol resolves, copy the entire 30-cell board. If Double lands, annotate only changed Bonus values. If Collect lands, total every eligible value in a separate column. If Crush lands, strike through the removed reel values but retain them in the evidence record.

This method makes compound rounds readable. For example, a Double may change values before a later Collect, while Crush may remove another reel. Without a pre-effect snapshot, the final credit cannot be reconstructed reliably.

During free spins, use a different sheet for Bombs. The base cascade award should be visible before applying the documented multiplier rule. A 100x label is a possible Bomb value, not a guaranteed feature outcome.

Reading a mixed Hold & Win board

A mixed board needs a time-ordered record because its final appearance may hide earlier value changes. Number each respin and photograph the grid before any Double, Collect or Crush animation. Then write the resolved action beneath that frame. If several special symbols land together, do not choose an order from their screen position; use the order shown by Help, history or the actual settlement sequence.

For Double, retain both the original and revised face values. For Collect, create a subtotal from the eligible Bonus symbols before comparing it with the displayed collection. For Crush, list every removed value even if it was not credited. These three columns make it possible to explain why a board with many visible amounts did not necessarily pay their final on-screen sum.

The respin counter belongs in every row. A new symbol may reset it, leave it unchanged or interact with a special rule, but the accessible provider page does not publish that behaviour. The live rule panel is therefore essential evidence. A generic Hold & Win convention is not enough to fill the gap.

Bomb arithmetic in free spins

Multiplier Bombs have published face values from 2x to 100x, but that range alone does not explain how several bombs settle. Capture the winning symbols and base cascade amount first. Next, record every bomb and the calculation displayed by the game. Only then enter the credited result.

This sequence prevents three common errors: applying a bomb to the entire feature instead of one result, assuming that two bomb values are added, or assuming that they multiply. The correct operation must come from the active Help. A screenshot of a large multiplier without its base award is not sufficient to reproduce the settlement.

Retriggers should be documented in the same ledger. Note the triggering Scatter count, the spins remaining before the event, the number added and the counter immediately afterwards. The official page confirms that retriggering exists but does not state the added quantity, so this value should remain tied to the observed rules revision.

Pre-session verification card

Before committing a stake, a reader can confirm the exact title suffix, 96.50% RTP, six-by-five layout and both feature triggers. Help should also explain the pays-anywhere threshold, cascade sequence, Hold & Win counter, special-symbol order and multi-bomb formula. If those fields are missing or different, stop treating the public overview as a complete rules document.

Currency, stake range, maximum award, feature purchase and geographic access require separate operator evidence. None is established merely because Betsoft publishes the title globally. Recording those boundaries is more useful than filling a table with settings borrowed from another deployment.

Verdict

Super Sugar Pop – HOLD & WIN is defined by three verbs with different consequences: Double changes selected values, Collect gathers values and Crush removes a reel’s Bonus symbols. Treating all three as positive multipliers would be inaccurate.

The official page confirms strong headline evidence but leaves several deployment details to Help. Accurate coverage keeps the edition, feature state and local availability boundaries explicit.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Betsoft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
