Super Stampede Hold & Win and Reset rules
A source-led review of the 15-position feature, repeated Reset collections and the exact conditions attached to the 5x multiplier and Grand prize.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Betsoft lists Super Stampede as live from 13 August 2026. The official product page specifies five reels, three rows, 243 ways to win, 96.07% RTP, high volatility and a 35.07% hit rate. Six or more Bonus symbols open Hold & Win with three respins.
The defining element is Reset. It collects all visible Bonus values, clears the feature grid and increases the multiplier by 1x, up to 5x. Filling all 15 positions while the multiplier is 5x awards the Grand prize. That sequence requires a ledger, not just a screenshot of the closing board.

Base-game ways and Wild
The 243-way layout evaluates matching symbols across adjacent reels rather than fixed line routes. Current Help should define the starting reel, required symbol count and whether gaps invalidate a way. Preserve the stopped grid before any feature animation because a ways total cannot be reconstructed from the award banner alone.
Betsoft states that Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols except Bonus and Reset and appears on reels two, three and four. A Wild can help a standard combination but cannot complete the six-Bonus trigger or act as a Reset. Mark those exclusions in the paytable notes.
The provider page does not publish the stake range, full symbol table or maximum ordinary award. These are deployed settings and should remain unavailable until read in the active rules panel.
Hold & Win opening state
When six or more Bonus symbols land, Hold & Win starts with three respins. Draw a 5-by-3 grid and copy every trigger value into its coordinate. Also record the stake unit, feature multiplier and respin counter before the first feature action.
Ordinary new Bonus symbols should be logged by position and face value. Help must establish whether they lock, reset the respin counter and remain until settlement. The public release material confirms the three starting respins but does not describe every counter edge case.
Do not combine the trigger-screen award with later collections. The opening board is the baseline against which each Reset is measured.
Reset collection sequence
During Hold & Win, a Reset symbol collects the values of all visible Bonus symbols and clears the reels. The multiplier then increases by 1x, up to 5x, and applies to Bonus symbols that subsequently appear.
Use one ledger row per Reset. Record the multiplier before the event, every visible Bonus value, their subtotal, the Reset symbol’s own recorded value where applicable, the amount collected and the new multiplier. Betsoft additionally states that each new Reset collects the value of the previous Reset together with the other visible Bonus values. Preserve that inherited value separately so it is not counted twice.
After the board clears, begin a new grid rather than erasing the old one. A sequence of three Resets should therefore produce four distinct board states. This makes it possible to verify which Bonus values were created under 1x, 2x, 3x or a later multiplier.
The multiplier is capped at 5x according to the official source. Reaching 5x alone does not establish the Grand condition; the player must also fill all 15 positions while that multiplier is active.
Grand and other Bonus prizes
Betsoft refers to four Bonus prizes and identifies the Grand condition. The accessible public text does not provide current monetary amounts for the four prizes. Progressive or operator-configured figures should never be frozen into the article without a dated live capture.
For a Grand audit, save the first moment the multiplier displays 5x and then every symbol that fills the 15 cells. Confirm that the final cell settles before the prize appears. If the board fills under a lower multiplier, do not infer the same outcome.
The award should be reconciled with server history and the post-feature balance. A prominent prize label is supporting evidence, not a substitute for the recorded round.
Buy Bonus boundary
The official release page documents a Buy Bonus route into Hold & Win with three respins. It does not establish the purchase price, active RTP, availability in New Zealand or availability at 22Bet.
If a deployed version offers the purchase, capture its cost, stake basis, confirmation screen and RTP before accepting. Compare the purchased opening state with the ordinary six-Bonus trigger rules. The route is an in-game wager, not a deposit promotion and not a free demo.
RTP, volatility and hit rate
The official 96.07% RTP is a long-run theoretical value. High volatility describes an uneven result distribution. The 35.07% hit rate can include returns lower than the stake and therefore is not a 35.07% chance of profit.
A session ledger should separate paid stake, ways wins, opening Bonus values, Reset collections, multiplier changes, final feature award and total credit. Short testing can confirm the interface and arithmetic, but it cannot reproduce the published long-run return.
Do not use the original Stampede or Stampede Gold settings for this title. Super Stampede has its own 5-by-3 layout, 243 ways and Reset-led Hold & Win design.
Mobile and interruption test
On a narrow screen, all 15 Bonus faces must remain legible. The multiplier, respin counter and collected total should not overlap. Reset needs a text or icon distinction that remains visible without relying only on colour.
Interrupt only after a settled state, reopen and compare the current grid, multiplier, stored Reset value and remaining respins with history. If an animation repeats, verify whether the server credited the collection once.
Audit checklist
- Match the exact Super Stampede title and Betsoft provider.
- Confirm the 96.07% RTP profile in Help.
- Capture the 5-by-3 layout and 243-way definition.
- Record six or more triggering Bonus symbols.
- Save the opening three-respin counter.
- Copy every board before Reset clears it.
- Separate current Bonus subtotal from inherited Reset value.
- Track multiplier growth one step at a time.
- Confirm the 5x cap.
- Verify all 15 positions for a Grand event.
- Record Buy Bonus cost only if deployed.
- Preserve the round identifier and final balance.
- Leave local availability unconfirmed without operator evidence.
Worked Reset record
Suppose the opening board contains seven Bonus symbols. List their coordinates and values under multiplier 1x. If Reset then lands, sum the visible values, record the displayed collection, copy the Reset value into an inherited column and mark the next state 2x. Start a clean grid for the next symbols.
If a second Reset appears, its row must include the previous Reset value plus the Bonus values visible immediately before clearance. The first board should not be added again. Continue the same process until the respins end or another documented prize condition settles.
This method makes the final credit reproducible and avoids the common mistake of multiplying old collections again whenever the multiplier rises.
Reset arithmetic quality check
Before accepting a Reset subtotal, convert every Bonus face into the same unit. Some interfaces display a stake multiplier while history reports currency. Mixing those formats can make a correct settlement appear wrong. Write the conversion rule at the top of the sheet and retain the original faces beside the converted values.
Next, compare three numbers: the visible Bonus subtotal, the carried value from the preceding Reset and the amount credited by the new Reset. The raised multiplier belongs to the new board state described by Betsoft; it should not silently revalue an already collected board unless Help explicitly shows that operation.
If the screen clears too quickly, a video capture can support the written grid, but server history remains the decisive record. Note any missing intermediate totals as unavailable instead of reconstructing them from the final balance alone.
Verdict
Super Stampede is built around repeated state changes. The important evidence is not simply how many Bonus symbols appear, but which multiplier applied, what each Reset collected and whether the grid was completely filled at 5x.
Betsoft confirms the headline mathematics and feature structure. Stake limits, complete paytable, prize amounts and New Zealand deployment still belong to the live operator build and should not be invented.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Betsoft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
