Pots of Great Fortune Hold & Win evidence guide
A state-by-state record for three colour-matched pots, the 15-position respin grid and three Special Bonus transformations.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Betsoft lists Pots of Great Fortune – Hold & Win from 26 June 2025 with five reels, three rows, 25 paylines, 96.06% RTP, medium/high volatility and a 33.03% hit rate.
Three Fortune Pots collect matching Special Bonus symbols. Six or more Bonus or Special Bonus symbols trigger three Hold & Win respins; filling all 15 positions awards the Grand. Collect, Multi-X and Boost modify values in different ways.

Three Fortune Pots
The pots sit above the reels and collect matching Special Bonus symbols in the base game. Betsoft states that every collected symbol has a chance to trigger Hold & Win. Record each pot’s colour, opening state, collected symbol and state after collection.
Do not merge the three pot histories into one progress bar. A colour-matched collection belongs to its corresponding pot, and the public page does not say that progress in one pot transfers to another. If the deployed Help explains reset or persistence, preserve that wording with the version and date.
The existence of visible progress does not make a trigger due. Set a session boundary before play and do not extend it because a pot appears active. The collection display should be treated according to Help, not as a prediction.
Hold & Win trigger and respins
Six or more scattered Bonus and/or Special Bonus symbols activate the feature with three respins. Save the full 15-position trigger grid, label ordinary Bonus symbols separately from Special Bonus symbols and copy every displayed cash value.
Create one grid for the opening state and another after each respin. Mark newly locked positions and the counter before and after settlement. Confirm from live Help whether a new qualifying symbol resets the counter; the public feature caption establishes three respins but does not fully describe counter timing.
The Grand condition is concrete: all 15 positions must be locked. Preserve the completed grid and final settlement rather than inferring the award from an animation. Live Mini, Minor, Major or Grand figures need a currency and timestamp if the deployed version shows them.
Collect symbol
Collect gathers the values of all other Bonus symbols on the reels. Record the Collector position, every contributing symbol, their values and the total before it is credited. Exclude the Collector itself unless Help assigns it a cash value.
If more than one Collect appears, do not assume that they process simultaneously or collect one another. Capture the order shown by the game and compare the server result. The sequence matters because another Special Bonus effect may change values first.
Multi-X symbol
Multi-X applies a random multiplier to between three and eight Bonus symbols. The audit needs the selected positions, original values, multiplier attached to each selection and resulting values. “Three to eight” describes the count of affected symbols, not the multiplier range.
Do not apply Multi-X to every locked symbol merely because the animation crosses the grid. Only the selected symbols belong in the calculation. If the same position is later changed by Boost or another effect, preserve both states in order.
Boost symbol
Boost takes a random multiplier, combines it with the bet and adds that amount to all other Bonus symbols. Record the total stake, selected Boost multiplier, calculated addition, eligible locked symbols and each before-and-after value.
This operation differs from Multi-X. Boost adds a stake-derived amount across the eligible symbols; Multi-X multiplies selected symbol values. Mixing the two descriptions can greatly distort a worked example.
Use the exact total bet displayed for that round. Coin denomination or currency conversion should not be guessed after the session.
Mystery transformation
During Hold & Win, a Mystery symbol can transform into Collect, Multi-X, Boost, Mini, Minor or Major. Save the Mystery position before the reveal and the resulting identity after it resolves.
The official page does not list Grand as a Mystery outcome; Grand is tied to filling all 15 positions. Keep those award routes separate. A Major reveal and a full-grid Grand are different events even when they occur in the same feature.
Wild and ordinary line play
The Wild can appear on all reels and substitutes for every symbol except Bonus and Special Bonus symbols. Trace it only through the 25 base-game paylines. It does not replace a missing Bonus symbol to create the six-symbol Hold & Win trigger.
Capture the ordinary paytable and line map from live Help. The public page confirms the Wild exception but not every symbol value, stake limit or maximum line award.
Buy Feature evidence
Betsoft describes a Buy Feature with choices involving one to three randomly active Fortune Pots or all pots active. Whether that control is lawful and available depends on the deployment and territory. Do not claim it is accessible in New Zealand without direct account evidence.
If it appears, capture the price, selected option, activated pots, purchased starting state, stake basis and final settlement. A feature purchase changes access to a bonus state; it does not guarantee a particular return.
Mobile state management
On a phone, all 15 positions, three pot indicators, respin counter and symbol values must remain readable. Take a screenshot before a Special Bonus animation because the original values may be replaced on screen.
After a connection interruption, wait for the authenticated history to restore the feature. Compare locked positions and final credit with the last saved grid. Never repeat the purchase or wager solely because the animation failed to finish locally.
Evidence checklist
- Confirm title, Betsoft and 96.06% RTP.
- Capture the 25-line map and base paytable.
- Track the three pots independently.
- Save six or more triggering symbols.
- Record the opening three-respin counter.
- Preserve every locked position and value.
- Calculate Collect from contributing Bonus symbols.
- Mark the three-to-eight Multi-X targets.
- Calculate the stake-based Boost addition.
- Save every Mystery transformation.
- Prove a full 15-position Grand with the closing grid.
- Treat Buy Feature and NZ availability as deployment facts.
RTP and responsible interpretation
The 96.06% RTP is a long-run theoretical value for the listed configuration. The 33.03% hit rate does not mean one third of spins are profitable. Medium/high volatility does not predict when a pot will trigger or how a Hold & Win sequence will end.
The changing pots and locked grid can encourage continuation, so a pre-set time and money limit is particularly important. Near-complete progress is not a debt owed by the next spin.
Confirmed versus live-build data
The studio confirms the core grid, lines, published statistics, three pot system, six-symbol trigger, three respins, all-positions Grand, three Special Bonus effects, Mystery outcomes, Wild exception and Buy Feature categories.
Cash values, jackpot amounts, stake limits, detailed counter reset, pot persistence, purchase prices and territorial access require the active Help file. Keeping these fields separate makes the page useful after live values change.
A compact transformation worksheet
Use one row for each locked position and columns for original value, Mystery result, Multi-X factor, Boost addition, Collect eligibility and final value. Add a sequence number to every effect. This layout reveals whether an apparent discrepancy comes from the selected targets, the arithmetic or the order of operations.
Reconcile the completed worksheet with the feature total before adding any fixed-tier award. If the interface groups several effects into one animation, the server history remains the settlement reference. Do not simplify the sheet by deleting intermediate values; those states are precisely what make the outcome reproducible.
Revision rule
An operator screenshot can establish a dated deployment but not a provider-wide rule. Change the evergreen summary only when matching official documentation supports the broader scope.
Verdict
Pots of Great Fortune is best understood as a state machine rather than one bonus animation. Each pot collects a colour, the opening feature locks values, and Special Bonus symbols transform those values through different operations.
A grid-by-grid ledger turns the complex presentation into verifiable arithmetic without promising a result or importing another deployment’s limits.

How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Betsoft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
