Betsoft’s product page lists Phoenix Inferno as live from 15 October 2026. Because this review was checked on 9 October 2026, that date is still in the future: the title is treated here as a scheduled release, not a currently playable game.

The pre-release page publishes 96.07% RTP, medium volatility, a 25.65% hit rate, a 3-4-5-4-3 layout and 720 ways. It also documents Collect Cash, three stored free-spin enhancers, restricted Wilds and three Buy Bonus options.

Release-status boundary

An official page can exist before a game reaches operator lobbies. The future date on Betsoft’s page is evidence of a planned release, not proof that it is playable on 9 October. This article therefore describes published rules while leaving launch, New Zealand availability and operator deployment unconfirmed.

After 15 October, the first editorial task is to revisit the official page and active Help. Record whether the date changed, whether the game launches, and whether the deployed RTP and feature wording match the pre-release copy. If launch is delayed, update the status without rewriting the documented mechanic as though it disappeared.

Do not label the sponsored route a Phoenix Inferno demo. It leads to a commercial destination and cannot prove that this exact future title is present.

Collect Cash feature

Collect Cash triggers when Cash symbols appear on two or more adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel. All winning Cash values are added and awarded. A valid record should mark every qualifying reel, each Cash value, the subtotal and final credit.

Adjacency and leftmost origin both matter. Cash symbols on separated reels or a run beginning away from the left edge should not be treated as qualifying unless the active Help explicitly changes the rule. The 3-4-5-4-3 shape means each reel holds a different number of positions, so a screenshot should show the complete grid.

Cash symbols can display cash prizes or Mini, Minor, Major and Mega awards. Any live amounts require a currency, timestamp and source screen. The tier names are evergreen pre-release rules; changing monetary values are not.

Stored Scatter collection

The Phoenix collects Scatter symbols during the base game. Those collections may randomly trigger free spins or increase one or more enhancer values. Record the state before each Scatter, the number collected and every visible change to the three meters.

The public wording uses “may randomly,” so a collection should not be described as guaranteed to increase a particular meter or trigger the feature. A long collection sequence does not prove that free spins are due. Preserve only the transition displayed by the interface.

Check post-release Help for persistence and reset conditions. The product page explains collection but does not establish how the stored state behaves after session closure, device change or a completed feature.

Three free-spin enhancers

The Multiplier can increase by 1x up to 5x. Spins can increase by one up to 15 free spins. Cash Bonus can rise by 1x the bet up to 20x the bet. One or more enhancers may change when Scatters are collected.

Use three independent ledger columns. After every collection, copy the prior value, increment and new value. This prevents a 1x multiplier increase from being confused with a 1x-bet Cash Bonus increase.

When free spins begin, the collected values become the starting package. Save the trigger screen and opening Multiplier, Spins and Cash Bonus values before the first feature spin.

Free-spin settlement

During free spins, the Cash Win meter collects all winning Cash symbol values plus the Cash Bonus value. For every spin, record the opening meter, winning Cash symbols, Multiplier if applied, Cash Bonus contribution and closing meter.

The public page does not fully describe operation order or whether every bonus contribution is multiplied. Use the deployed Help calculation rather than inventing an equation from the feature names. Keep base Cash values and added bonus in separate columns until the server history confirms settlement.

Number all awarded spins. If post-release Help permits retriggers, record them with the grid that produced them; do not assume retriggering from the maximum Spins enhancer.

Wild substitution

Wilds appear on reels two, three and four and substitute for every symbol except Cash and Scatter. They can support ordinary 720-way wins but cannot replace missing Cash symbols in Collect Cash or missing Scatters in the Phoenix collection.

Trace each qualifying way through adjacent reels and note the Wild position. Because the reel heights vary, a line-style diagram is inappropriate; the active ways evaluator or history should provide the settled total.

Three Buy Bonus packages

Betsoft publishes three packages: five free spins with a 2x Multiplier and 5x-bet Cash Bonus; ten spins with a 3x Multiplier and 10x-bet Cash Bonus; or 15 spins with a 5x Multiplier and 15x-bet Cash Bonus.

These are feature states, not promises of profit. The pre-release page does not establish purchase price, jurisdictional availability or post-launch operator access. If the control appears, record the package price, total stake basis, chosen package, opening enhancers and final settlement.

Do not infer that the 15-spin package includes the maximum 20x Cash Bonus; Betsoft explicitly lists 15x for that Buy Bonus option. The 20x figure belongs to the general enhancer ceiling.

Post-release verification plan

On or after the scheduled date, confirm the exact title, provider, version, RTP, ways calculation, stake range and every feature rule in Help. Compare screenshots with the pre-release fields without silently replacing earlier evidence.

Test the Collect Cash adjacency rule, Scatter meter transitions, free-spin opening values and Wild exclusions using permitted low-stake or non-wagering access. The purpose is rule verification, not estimation of return from a small sample.

If the title does not appear in a New Zealand account, report availability as unconfirmed. A global studio launch does not automatically establish territorial operator access.

Mobile and continuity checks

The uneven grid, three enhancer meters and Cash Win meter must remain legible on a phone. Verify that none is covered by browser chrome or the stake control. Capture the full state before rotating the device.

If connection drops during collection or free spins, reopen the authenticated lobby and compare the restored enhancer values, remaining spins and final balance with history. Do not start a replacement paid round while the first result is unresolved.

Support evidence should include release/build version, time zone, stake, round ID, pre-feature meters, disputed transition and closing balance. Never share passwords or one-time codes.

Evidence checklist

  • Treat 15 October 2026 as scheduled until rechecked.
  • Confirm 96.07% in post-release Help.
  • Save the 3-4-5-4-3 grid and 720-way wording.
  • Record Cash symbols on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel.
  • Track the four Cash prize tiers separately from amounts.
  • Preserve every Scatter collection transition.
  • Maintain separate Multiplier, Spins and Cash Bonus columns.
  • Save the opening free-spin package.
  • Restrict Wilds to reels two through four.
  • Record Buy Bonus price and territorial availability only after launch.

RTP and responsible interpretation

The listed 96.07% RTP and 25.65% hit rate are pre-release product specifications. They do not promise a session result. Medium volatility does not predict when random free-spin activation will occur or which enhancer will increase.

Persistent-looking meters and three purchase packages can encourage escalation. Set a limit before opening the game and do not treat accumulated graphics as money already won. Until an award is settled in history, it is not an account balance.

Confirmed and unresolved

Confirmed as published pre-release information are the planned date, layout, ways count, statistics, Collect Cash adjacency rule, four prize tiers, Scatter collection, enhancer ceilings, Wild restrictions and three Buy Bonus packages.

Actual launch, New Zealand access, operator catalogue presence, stake limits, purchase prices, maximum award, meter persistence and detailed settlement order remain unresolved as of 9 October 2026.

Verdict

Phoenix Inferno has detailed advance documentation, but timing matters more than usual. A future official date must not be converted into a claim of current playability.

Once launched, the page can be verified through three ledgers: adjacent Cash collection, Phoenix enhancer transitions and the final free-spin meter. Until then, it remains a sourced pre-release rules guide.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Betsoft, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
