Wild Beans — identify all six powers before choosing a bonus

Four Wild types can appear in the base game, two more join Free Spins, and Pick'N'Choose changes which combination enters the feature.

Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Wild Beans by Quickspin is a 5-reel, 4-row game with 26 paylines. It uses six Wild Bean effects: Cash, Tall, Big and Random Wilds in the base game, plus Multiplier and Diagonal Wilds in Free Spins. Pick’N’Choose lets the player select one of three feature packages.

The official Quickspin page and game sheet support these mechanics. They do not prove availability at a New Zealand casino, NZD stakes or local access to Extra Bet and Buy Feature.

Verified configuration

Quickspin lists total RTP versions of 96.08%, 94.19%, 92.07% and 84.21%. All four carry volatility two out of five. The reference stake range is €0.05 to €100 with a €1 default.

The sheet gives a hit rate close to 49.54% across the models and simulation maxima of 4,374x, 4,369x, 4,374x and 4,353x in 100 million spins. Hit rate includes any result under the supplier definition; it does not say how large the result is or whether a session is profitable.

Extra Bet costs 1.4x. Buy Feature prices are 50x for a chosen standard Free Spins game and 100x for King’s Castle. Market availability can differ.

Twenty-six paylines

Wins are evaluated on 26 fixed lines across five reels and four rows. Open the live paytable for direction, symbol values and Wild substitution. A Wild area can cover several line positions, but only qualifying line combinations pay.

The provider’s euro stake range is technical reference data. It is not evidence that a New Zealand account uses euros, supports NZD or offers the same limits. The total bet shown in the deployed game is the relevant cost.

Wild Beans can activate before payout evaluation. That order matters because a feature can alter the grid, add Wilds or attach values before line wins are calculated.

Four base-game Wild Beans

Cash Wild places a random cash value on itself. Published values are 1x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 20x and 100x the bet. The value pays when at least one line win includes that Wild, in addition to ordinary wins. Several line wins through the same Wild do not repeatedly pay the cash value.

Tall Wild fills every tile in one selected column. Big Wild fills a 2-by-2 area. Random Wild places between three and five Wilds at random grid positions.

Only one Wild Bean type and one instance can activate on a base-game spin. That limitation prevents the base game from being read like the more permissive Free Spins state.

Two Free Spins-only powers

Multiplier Wild places one of the published multipliers—2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x or 100x—on itself. Line wins containing that Wild are multiplied. When more than one multiplier affects a line during Free Spins, the values are added, not multiplied together.

Diagonal Wild fills a diagonal set of positions with Wilds. The exact diagonal is determined by the feature. It is distinct from Tall Wild’s full column and Big Wild’s square.

During Free Spins, up to three Wild Bean effects or instances can trigger on the same spin, including repeated types. This makes order and overlap important. Use the settled line calculation rather than multiplying every visual number together.

Natural Free Spins trigger

Three Bonus symbols award ten Free Spins, four award twelve, and five award fifteen. Every Bonus symbol landing during Free Spins adds one additional spin.

The extra spin is tied to each Bonus symbol, not necessarily to a scatter combination. Check the counter change in round history if several appear at once.

All Wild Bean powers behave according to their type during the feature, but the selected Pick’N’Choose mode controls which set is available.

Pick’N’Choose

Before Free Spins begin, the player chooses one of three rounds. Each unlocks a different group of Wild Bean effects. The official page confirms the choice structure but the deployed help should provide the exact mode names and included powers.

Treat the choice as a rules preference, not a prediction of profit. One mode may create more spatial Wilds while another foregrounds values or multipliers. Without feature-specific probabilities, no honest review can rank one as universally best.

Record the chosen mode if a feature result is disputed. Two bonuses with the same number of starting spins can use different Wild inventories.

Extra Bet

Extra Bet costs 1.4 times the standard wager and increases the chance of triggering a Wild Bean feature. It is available only in the base game and cannot be combined with Buy Feature.

The product page does not quantify the increase. Do not present 1.4x cost as a 40% improvement in return or trigger probability. The known fact is the changed price.

If the toggle remains active, include the higher deduction in every budget calculation. The interface should show total stake clearly before the spin button is pressed.

Buy Feature

A 50x purchase enters one of the standard Free Spins games with at least three Bonus symbols. A 100x purchase enters King’s Castle Free Spins with at least three symbols. Not all purchase levels are available in every market.

The price buys a feature state, not a minimum return. At an illustrative $2 stake, the routes cost $100 and $200; this does not confirm NZD support. A feature can settle below its price.

Check which Pick’N’Choose options remain available through each purchase, the delivered spin count, active RTP and promotion restrictions before committing.

RTP and probability context

The four RTP versions are different mathematical configurations. A review must list them without silently choosing 96.08% as universal. The live information screen should identify the active model.

The similar overall hit rates do not make the configurations equivalent. Base-game and free-game contributions differ, and the lower RTP versions reduce long-run return while keeping familiar artwork.

Volatility two out of five is lower on the supplier scale than many Quickspin games, but it is not a guarantee of a smooth personal session. High multipliers and optional purchases can still produce uneven spending.

Reading overlapping features

Suppose a Free Spin activates a Tall Wild and a Multiplier Wild. First identify the positions changed by Tall Wild, then the paylines passing through the Multiplier. If another multiplier touches the same line, the documented multipliers add.

A Cash Wild only pays its attached value when at least one line win includes it. A 100x value that does not participate in a line win is not automatically credited. This is why the paytable and final line highlights matter.

Do not infer the payout from a screenshot taken before all effects finish. Use the settled round record.

One Cash Wild, two winning lines and two multiplier identities

Here is a hypothetical Free Spins worksheet illustrating a boundary that can be obscured by a total-win animation. Assume the selected route and settled board permit one Cash Wild plus two Multiplier Wilds, within the documented three-instance feature limit. The Cash Wild carries ten bet units; the multiplier identities M1 and M2 carry three and five. These values are examples, not sampled outcomes, probabilities or a claim that every choice enables this combination.

Suppose two qualifying lines both include M1 and M2 and the same Cash Wild C1. Their unadjusted paytable awards are one and two bet units. Under the published additive line-factor rule, each qualifying line uses factor eight. C1’s attached value is a separate one-off award because at least one winning line includes it.

Credit component Invented calculation Bet-unit subtotal
First ordinary line 1 × (3 + 5) 8
Second ordinary line 2 × (3 + 5) 16
Cash Wild C1 Ten paid once, despite two line references 10
Illustrative combined credit 8 + 16 + 10 34

Paying the same cash attachment per line would incorrectly give 8 + 16 + 10 + 10 = 44. Multiplying its separate attachment by eight would give 104 instead of 34. Neither shortcut follows the source’s distinction between normal line wins and the additional once-per-Cash-Wild payment. Keep C1’s identity and its paid-once flag, not just the count of lines that highlight it.

At an assumed stake of 0.20 currency units, 34 bet units convert to 6.80 currency units. That is a gross illustrative award, not profit, a guaranteed bonus value or proof of a supported currency. Reconcile the actual server credit before subtracting any paid entry cost. Do not combine an Extra Bet debit with a purchase: the current supplier says those controls cannot be active together.

If only the first line included M2, the table would need a different factor for the second line. A factor attached elsewhere on the board does not automatically become a round-wide multiplier. Similarly, if no winning line included C1, the qualifying condition for its attachment would not be met. These alternatives show why a single total screenshot cannot reveal the formula.

The worksheet is intentionally conditional about feature placement and selected route. It does not invent simultaneous-action order, replacement priority or a reel geometry. A complete replay would add the route’s enabled Wild inventory, the action sequence and per-line coordinates. If those are unavailable, retain the displayed credit while marking the intermediate reconstruction incomplete. The arithmetic can demonstrate correct bookkeeping without claiming an observed session.

For replay reconciliation, attach C1’s paid-once flag to the completed round identifier. A replay of that same line highlight must not clear the flag and create another cash attachment. A genuinely new round requires a new object record rather than reusing the old C1 settlement.

Mobile checks and evidence

On mobile, ensure that Wild type, attached value or multiplier, paylines, remaining spins and total bet remain readable. Animations should not hide whether a Wild is Tall, Big or Diagonal.

For support, save the round ID, chosen Free Spins mode, Wild types, Bonus count, active RTP and credited amount. The operator manages the ledger; Quickspin’s documents explain product rules.

Scope and comparisons

Provider material does not confirm local casino availability, account eligibility, NZD, operator payments or withdrawal terms. Those require operator evidence.

Fire Tale concentrates on stacked Wilds and fusion. The Grim Reaper uses a value-collection meter. The Quickspin guide provides the broader verification checklist.

Six Wild Bean actions

Cash Wild carries a random 1×, 3×, 5×, 10×, 20× or 100× payout. It is paid when at least one line win includes that Wild, and several line wins through the same Cash Wild do not repeat the cash award. Keep the ordinary line total and the one-off Cash Wild value separate.

Multiplier Wild uses 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 10× or 100× and applies only to line wins containing it. In Free Spins, several multiplier Wilds affecting the same line are added together rather than multiplied. Tall Wild fills one column, Big Wild fills a 2×2 area, Random Wild places three to five Wilds, and Diagonal Wild fills a diagonal path.

These geometry features can overlap during Free Spins. Record the generated cells by source so the same Wild position is not counted as two symbols simply because two effects cover it.

Base-game and free-spin activation limits

In the base game, a Wild Bean feature can activate randomly before payout, but only one feature type and one instance can appear on a spin. This boundary makes a base result easier to audit: identify the single action, apply the board change and then settle the 26 paylines.

Free Spins remove that restriction. Up to three Wild Bean features or instances can activate on the same spin, and they can be the same or different types. Order becomes important when an area-changing Wild interacts with Cash or Multiplier Wilds. Use the animation log or paytable sequence rather than assuming that all effects occur simultaneously.

Multiplier and Diagonal Wild are exclusive to Free Spins. Their appearance in a base-game screenshot would therefore require checking whether the screen is actually showing a feature, demo tool or another version.

Free-spin counts and Pick’N’Choose

Three Bonus symbols award ten spins, four award twelve and five award fifteen. Every Bonus symbol landing during the feature adds one spin. Before the feature begins, Pick’N’Choose offers three rounds, each unlocking a different set of Wild Bean features.

Record the chosen route and its enabled Wild types. The public page confirms that the rounds differ but the active help is needed for the exact set assigned to each choice. Do not describe every route as containing all six Wild actions.

Additional Bonus symbols extend the spin count rather than restarting the feature. Keep the opening allocation, added spins and remaining counter in separate fields so a later history review can reproduce the duration.

Optional mode separation

Extra Bet costs 1.4× and increases the chance that a Wild Bean feature triggers in the base game. It does not purchase free spins and cannot be combined with Buy Feature. The 50× purchase allows entry into one of the Free Spins games with at least three Bonus symbols, while 100× enters King’s Castle.

Not every purchase level is offered in every market. Record which controls appear, the selected route and the final price. The four RTP families—96%, 94%, 92% and 84%—also require a live Game ID rather than assuming the highest version.

Because the optional controls are mutually exclusive, the round history should show either an Extra Bet base round or a purchased bonus entry, not both on one decision. This is a useful interface and settlement check.

Wild Beans line-audit worksheet

Start with the 5×4 board, 26 paylines and total stake. Record the active mode, Wild Bean actions before payout and every generated Wild position. For each winning line, identify ordinary symbol value, contributing Wilds, any Cash Wild payment and the sum of applicable multiplier values.

During Free Spins, add the selected Pick’N’Choose route, remaining spins and any Bonus-symbol extension. When several features activate, preserve their order and the board after each action. The final line totals should reconcile with the round-history settlement without multiplying additive Wild values or repeating one Cash Wild award across multiple lines.

Geometry of Tall, Big, Random and Diagonal Wilds

Tall Wild chooses a column and fills all four positions. Big Wild fills a 2×2 area, so its placement must include two adjacent reels and rows. Random Wild places three, four or five Wilds across eligible positions. Diagonal Wild creates a diagonal line and appears only in the free-spin feature.

These actions change the board before the 26 paylines settle. Draw the generated cells on a 5×4 coordinate grid. If two effects overlap during Free Spins, the shared cell remains one Wild position even though two animations reached it. The overlap can allow both feature rules to be visible without doubling the symbol count.

The active paytable should define placement boundaries and whether existing special symbols can be replaced. Do not infer that a Big Wild can extend outside the 5×4 area or that a Random Wild can overwrite a Bonus symbol merely because an animation passes across that location.

Additive multiplier calculation

When one Multiplier Wild affects a line, apply its printed value to that line under the paytable. When several affect the same line during Free Spins, Quickspin specifies that their multiplier values are added. For example, x3 and x5 form x8 for the qualifying line, not x15.

Separate lines can pass through different Multiplier Wilds. Calculate each line independently before summing the spin award. A Multiplier Wild not included in a particular payline has no effect on that line, even if it is visible elsewhere on the board.

Cash Wild follows another rule. It pays its printed cash multiple once when at least one line win includes it. If three paylines use the same Cash Wild, the cash value is not paid three times. Keep line awards, additive multipliers and one-off Cash Wild payments in separate worksheet columns.

RTP and choice-screen evidence

Wild Beans has four announced RTP families: 96%, 94%, 92% and 84%. Record the exact live value and Game ID before describing the mathematics. A Pick’N’Choose screen can offer different mechanics while remaining inside the same deployed configuration; choosing another feature does not prove that the RTP changed.

For every choice, capture the route name and Wild Bean types it enables. A screenshot of one route cannot establish the rules of the other two. If a 50× purchase lets the user select among routes, record the choice after purchase as well as the original price. The 100× King’s Castle option should remain a separate entry.

The result record becomes complete when it connects configuration, selected route, generated Wild geometry and line calculation. None of those fields can be replaced by the title’s general 96% marketing label.

Restoring a multi-feature spin

An interrupted Free Spins result can be difficult to reconstruct because up to three Wild Bean actions may occur before payout. Use round history or replay to recover the action order, generated positions and line calculation. A final board alone may not show which Wild came from Tall, Big, Random or Diagonal placement.

Record the choice-screen route, opening spin count and any Bonus-symbol extensions. If a Cash Wild and several Multiplier Wilds affect the same result, reconcile the one-off cash value separately from the additive multiplier applied to each qualifying line.

On mobile, verify that all four rows and the outer reels remain visible after orientation changes. A cropped diagonal or 2×2 area can make the generated geometry appear incomplete. The settled history should still identify the total even when the local feature animation does not resume.

Bottom line: distinguish the six Wild powers, then read the chosen Free Spins package. Similar animations can follow different payout rules.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Quickspin, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
