Tiger's Glory Ultra — choose the battle model before the bonus

Ultra makes every Enraged Tiger win and stick; Classic sticks only successful Tigers. The mode changes both exposure and the published maximum.

Tiger’s Glory Ultra by Quickspin is described as an extremely volatile 4×6 reel game with 4,096 bet ways. The same public page also uses the phrase “40 paylines” in its introduction, so the live help should settle the active layout and evaluation model.

Ultra and Classic

The player can choose between two versions. In Ultra, Enraged Tigers always win their battles, remain sticky for the bonus and the published maximum is 32,000× the bet. In Classic, only Enraged Tigers that win their battles stick, and the published maximum is 12,000×.

These are different math experiences, not a visual skin switch. Record the selected mode before comparing results or feature behaviour.

Enraged Tiger Free Spins

Three or more Bonus Scatters trigger the feature:

  • three Scatters award seven spins;
  • four award ten;
  • five award fifteen;
  • six award twenty.

The first Enraged Tiger on each reel to win a battle adds one spin, allowing up to six extra spins. Tiger symbols pay anywhere during Free Spins and do not need to start on the left or occupy consecutive reels. Bonus Scatters do not appear during the feature.

What remains to verify

The public page says Ultra has higher RTP than the original but does not print a numerical RTP in readable copy. Check the live value, version, bet range and any jurisdiction-specific mode availability.

Resolve the layout wording

Quickspin’s page calls the title a 4×6 reel slot with 4,096 bet ways, while its introduction also says 40 paylines. Those descriptions are not automatically interchangeable. The deployed game help must identify the actual evaluation model for the selected mode.

Capture the grid, line or ways diagram and paytable. If the client presents 4,096 ways, use ways terminology. If it presents forty fixed lines, document those lines. Do not repeat both as simultaneous mechanics without evidence.

This discrepancy is a reason for version control, not a reason to choose the more familiar label. Save the Game ID, mode and help screen with every calculation.

Mode selection record

Ultra and Classic change feature behaviour and published exposure. Record the selection before any paid spin because the mode affects Tiger Battles and maximum win.

Ultra has a 32,000× published maximum and makes every Enraged Tiger win its battle and stick. Classic has a 12,000× maximum and sticks only Tigers that win. The page characterises Classic as more frequent and Ultra as larger and more volatile.

Do not switch mode labels after viewing a result. If the interface allows changing between rounds, create a new session row with the new selection and live RTP.

Scatter entry table

Three, four, five and six Bonus Scatters award seven, ten, fifteen and twenty Free Spins respectively. Capture the trigger board and count actual Scatter objects, not decorative arena symbols.

The schedule is non-linear. Do not interpolate an award or describe it as a fixed number per Scatter. Record the exact tier and initial counter before any Tiger Battle additions.

Bonus Scatters are absent during Free Spins, so extra spins come from the first qualifying Enraged Tiger on each reel rather than retrigger Scatters.

Enraged Tiger battle state

The Enraged Tiger appears only in Free Spins and battles the Gladiator. In Ultra it always wins and locks. In Classic the battle outcome determines whether it locks.

Create six reel columns. For each newly appearing Enraged Tiger, record reel, battle result, sticky status and whether that reel has already awarded its extra spin.

The Tiger is evaluated as the normal Tiger symbol. Keep its battle and pay evaluation as separate fields: winning a battle establishes sticky state; the pay-anywhere rule determines cash credit.

One extra spin per reel

The first Enraged Tiger on each reel to win a battle awards one extra Free Spin. With six reels, the published maximum addition is six.

Mark a reel as spin awarded after its first qualifying Tiger. Later Tigers on the same reel can affect sticky state or wins but do not earn another first-reel award.

In Ultra, every first Tiger should win and qualify because battles always succeed. In Classic, a first appearance that loses does not satisfy “first Tiger to win”; a later winner can supply the reel’s award. Confirm this interpretation in live history.

Write counter arithmetic explicitly: starting spins minus one consumed plus one for each newly qualified reel.

Tiger pay-anywhere evaluation

During Free Spins, Tiger symbols pay anywhere. They need not begin on the leftmost reel or appear on consecutive reels. This is separate from the base game’s line or ways model.

Record every Tiger position on the settled board, including sticky Enraged Tigers evaluated as Tigers. Use the live paytable to determine the required count and server credit.

Do not extend pay-anywhere treatment to other symbols. Gladiators, Scatters and regular icons retain their documented evaluation rules.

If several Tiger groups appear visually, let server history identify the total. A hand-drawn payline is not appropriate for the special anywhere evaluation.

Sticky map and feature ledger

Begin with mode, Scatter tier and initial spins. Use one row per feature spin with starting counter, new Enraged Tigers, battle outcomes, newly sticky positions, first-reel awards, Tiger count, other wins and ending counter.

Carry sticky Tigers into later rows until the feature ends. In Classic, only winners enter the map. In Ultra, every Enraged Tiger does.

At feature close, sum server credits and compare the summary and balance. There should be no ordinary wager debits during awarded spins.

The six possible extra spins are a ceiling based on one per reel, not a guarantee that every reel receives a Tiger.

Published maximums

Ultra’s 32,000× and Classic’s 12,000× belong to different selected models. Always name the mode next to the maximum.

If the live game presents currency, calculate from the triggering bet and preserve the bet multiple. Do not use the maximum as an expected or representative result.

When the server reaches a cap, use the detailed history to understand settlement and feature termination. Do not assign value to hypothetical remaining spins.

RTP and the 166% statement

Quickspin says the Ultra version has higher RTP and that average Free Spins payout was increased by 166%, but readable copy does not print the numeric RTP. The percentage increase is a comparison claim, not an RTP value.

Do not write 166% RTP. Capture the actual theoretical return from live help. Keep the comparison wording separate from configuration data.

RTP, mode and maximum should be recorded together. A figure from the original Tiger’s Glory cannot be transferred to Ultra.

Mobile verification

All six reel positions, sticky Tigers and per-reel extra-spin status should remain readable. If a side meter represents battles, ensure it is not hidden in portrait mode.

Test help navigation and return without changing the selected Ultra or Classic mode. A silent mode reset would invalidate later comparisons.

After reconnecting, compare selected mode, remaining spins and sticky map with history before continuing.

Confirmed boundary

The provider confirms extreme volatility, two selectable models, Scatter tiers, battle differences, sticky rules, pay-anywhere Tigers, one extra spin per reel and two maximums.

It does not provide numeric RTP, stake limits or New Zealand operator availability in readable copy. The layout wording itself requires live verification.

The review therefore gives a complete battle-state method without inventing a single universal reel model.

Ultra feature walkthrough

Begin with a selected Ultra mode and confirmed Scatter tier. On each Free Spin, identify new Enraged Tigers. Every one wins its battle under the published rule and locks in position.

For the first winner on a previously unused reel, add one spin and mark the reel’s award consumed. A later Tiger on that reel can contribute to pay-anywhere evaluation but does not add another first-reel spin.

Carry all sticky Tigers to subsequent boards. At feature end, the map can contain up to six reel-award markers, one for each reel, although the provider does not guarantee all will be reached.

Classic feature walkthrough

Classic begins from the same published Scatter schedule but battles are conditional. Record every Enraged Tiger appearance and whether it defeats the Gladiator.

Only a winner sticks. The first winner on a reel adds one spin. A losing first appearance does not lock and should not consume that reel’s potential first-win award unless live help explicitly says otherwise.

Keep losses in the ledger because they explain why the sticky map does not grow. Do not redraw Classic as Ultra after seeing the final board.

Anywhere-pay worksheet

After ordinary evaluation, count Tiger symbols across all positions as the live feature directs. They need not start from reel one or occupy consecutive reels.

Include locked Enraged Tigers because the source says they evaluate as Tiger symbols. Record the count and paytable award. Other symbols should remain under their normal evaluation model.

If the server groups Tiger anywhere pay with line or ways results, use separate worksheet rows and reconcile their sum to the spin credit.

Extra-spin ceiling

The six-spin ceiling follows from one qualifying first Tiger per reel. It is not tied to the initial Scatter count. A twenty-spin six-Scatter entry can still earn anywhere from zero to six reel awards depending on feature events.

Record the counter before a qualifying battle, subtract the current spin and add one. If two new reels qualify on one spin, verify the server adds two.

Do not add a spin merely because a sticky Tiger participates in another win. The award is tied to the first winning battle on that reel.

Mode maximum reconciliation

For Ultra, preserve the 32,000× model maximum and triggering bet. For Classic, preserve 12,000×. A currency amount should always be accompanied by the multiple and mode.

If the cap is reached, use history to determine whether the feature ends immediately and how remaining spins are treated. The public page states maximum exposure but not every settlement frame.

Never average the two caps or present 32,000× to a Classic session.

4×6 and 4,096 ways arithmetic

If live help confirms six reels with four positions and pay-anywhere or ways-style evaluation, 4^6 = 4,096 explains the headline ways count. This arithmetic does not prove the game uses that model when the same page also mentions forty lines.

Capture the exact help wording. The mathematical product can verify a displayed 4,096 figure, but only the game rules identify how regular symbols pay.

Do not call 4,096 a multiplier or maximum win. It is a count of possible routes under the stated geometry.

Volatility comparison

Quickspin calls Ultra extremely volatile and presents Classic as more frequent. This is a qualitative comparison between models, not a probability table.

The 166% average Free Spins payout increase is also comparative. Without the baseline and full model data, it cannot be converted into a predicted feature return.

Keep these labels in context and avoid suggesting that a player can control outcomes by switching modes after a sequence.

Mobile mode integrity

The selected mode should remain visible before stake confirmation and after returning from help. If the UI uses a toggle, test whether orientation changes or reconnects reset it.

During the feature, sticky positions and reel-award markers should be readable. The six-column grid must not be cropped.

History should identify mode or Game ID. If it does not, retain a pre-spin mode capture with the round timestamp.

Final evidence package

Archive mode selection, Scatter trigger, initial counter, every first-reel winner, sticky map, Tiger anywhere evaluations, feature summary and ledger.

Add active RTP from live help and the resolved pay model. These are the two essential deployment facts missing from readable marketing copy.

The package should allow another reviewer to reproduce extra-spin awards without needing the animated battle sequence.

Mode-specific feature totals

Do not place Ultra and Classic rounds in one undifferentiated average. Their battle success and maximum exposure differ. Group histories by mode and active RTP.

For each group, record initial Scatter tier, extra spins earned, number of sticky Tigers and gross feature credit. This describes observed sessions without pretending the sample establishes probabilities.

If the client changes mode automatically after logout, note it as an interface behaviour and reselect deliberately before another check.

Battle evidence without animation

When the animation is skipped, compare the before and after boards. A new sticky Enraged Tiger plus an extra-spin credit can document a winning battle even if the visual duel is absent.

In Classic, a Tiger that disappears without joining the sticky map can document a loss if history identifies the event. Avoid assigning battle outcomes from character poses alone.

The server’s counter and persistent grid are more reliable than the length or drama of animation.

Pay-anywhere settlement example

Suppose Tiger symbols occupy reels one, three and six plus two sticky positions on reel four. Under pay-anywhere, their non-consecutive distribution can still qualify if the live paytable count is met.

Record all five positions and the server award. Do not draw a left-to-right line or exclude reel-six Tigers simply because reel two lacks one.

This example explains geometry only. The actual count threshold and value come from the live paytable.

Maximum-win wording

Use “published maximum for Ultra: 32,000×” and “published maximum for Classic: 12,000×”. Keep the selected bet and mode beside any currency conversion.

Do not describe the difference as a bonus amount or guaranteed upside. It is exposure within two mathematical configurations.

If live help uses another maximum, preserve the conflict with Game ID and date rather than silently replacing provider copy.

Final consistency scan

Check that every extra spin is linked to the first successful Tiger on a distinct reel. Check that Scatters do not appear in feature rows. Check that Tigers are evaluated anywhere only during Free Spins.

Verify that numeric RTP remains absent until a primary live source supplies it. Ensure the 166% claim is never presented as return percentage.

These checks catch the errors most likely to arise from compressing Ultra and Classic into one generic description.

On mobile, the selected mode, six reel positions, sticky Tigers and extra-spin awards should remain visible. Extremely high volatility does not predict a result or guarantee access to the published cap.

The source does not confirm New Zealand operator availability. Use the Quickspin catalogue guide for the source method and Wild Harlequin for a different sticky-multiplier model.

Official source

Bottom line: record mode, Scatter count, sticky Tiger positions and reel-level spin awards before evaluating the feature.

How to verify the version you can actually open

A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.

Start with identity, then configuration

Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Quickspin, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.

When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.

Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration

Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.

Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.

Keep simulation figures in their proper scope

A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.

Audit a disputed round

If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.

Read the paytable as a calculation document

The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.

Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.

Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round

Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.

Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.

Confirm market and device behaviour independently

A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.

On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.

Keep a compact evidence record

For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.

Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.

Use limits that survive the feature design

Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.

No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.

Primary source and correction path

This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
