Flip Royale — pay the board before and after the flip
A full reel of matching Coins generates more symbols. The game evaluates wins before the feature and again after the new symbols are placed.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Flip Royale by Quickspin is a low-volatility 5×3 slot with ten paylines and a Coin Flip feature. The official page explains the mechanics but does not print an RTP percentage in its readable feature copy, so the active return must be checked in the live game help.
How Coin symbols trigger the feature
Four Coin types can form ordinary line wins and can also activate Coin Flip. When all three positions on one reel contain the same Coin type, the feature begins.
Each of those three Coins generates an additional Coin of the same value, placed randomly in the play area. If multiple Coin types trigger on the same spin, the generated symbols become Wilds instead.
The sequence can continue. If the newly placed Coins or Wilds fill another reel with the required match, that reel also generates additional symbols. Record each generation separately rather than treating the final board as one unexplained result.
Two evaluations in one spin
Quickspin states that wins are paid both before and after the Coin Flip feature. The initial reel result is therefore evaluated first, followed by the completed feature board.
For a dispute check, capture the board before generation, list the triggering reels, capture each new placement and then compare the second win evaluation. A final screenshot alone may hide the first payment stage.
Free Spins
Three, four or five Bonus Scatters award six, ten or twenty Free Spins. During the bonus, Coin Flip is guaranteed to activate on every spin.
Guaranteed activation does not mean a guaranteed profit. The result still depends on Coin values, placement, paylines and any follow-on generation. Low volatility is a provider classification, not a prediction for an individual session.
On mobile, the full 5×3 field, Coin value, triggering reel and both payout stages should remain readable. Use game history when animations make the generated symbols difficult to follow.
The product page does not confirm a buy feature, maximum win, NZD stake range or New Zealand casino availability in its readable copy. Leave those fields unclaimed unless the active official documentation supplies them.
Slugger Time uses a bonus picker and sticky multiplier Wilds instead. The Quickspin catalogue guide explains how to verify the active provider version.
Reading the 5×3 and ten-line grid
Flip Royale uses five reels, three rows and ten fixed paylines. Record the total stake, opening grid and line number for every award before checking the Coin Flip condition.
Coin symbols can pay on ordinary lines as well as trigger the feature. Keep the line subtotal and trigger test separate: one uses the ten payline routes, while the other asks whether one reel is completely filled by the same Coin type.
Save the initial board as F0. It is the basis of the first evaluation and must not be overwritten by the generated-symbol state.
Four Coin types
The provider identifies four different Coin symbols. Record the type and value shown for every Coin on F0. Do not treat all Coins as interchangeable merely because they share a round shape.
One Coin type can create an ordinary payline while another fills a reel and triggers Coin Flip. Maintain separate labels such as C1 through C4 when reviewing the grid.
The live paytable supplies the values. Do not infer a value from colour or artwork alone.
Full-reel trigger condition
Coin Flip begins when all three positions of one reel contain the same Coin type. Record the reel number, three coordinates and common value.
Three matching Coins scattered across different reels do not satisfy this condition. The entire vertical reel must be filled.
Likewise, three different Coin types on one reel do not form the required matching set.
One triggering reel
When one reel triggers, each of its three Coins generates one additional Coin of the same value. Record the three source symbols and three generated symbols.
The new symbols are placed randomly in the play area. Save each destination coordinate after placement. The player does not choose the cells under the public rule.
Do not remove the original source Coins from the record; they remain part of the pre-feature board and explain the trigger.
Several triggering reels
More than one reel can be completely filled by matching Coins on the same spin. Record each triggering reel and its Coin type before generation begins.
Quickspin states that when multiple Coin symbols trigger the feature on the same spin, the generated symbols become Wilds. Preserve the number of source Coins and the generated Wild destinations.
Do not assume that the original Coin symbols themselves convert to Wild. The public description refers to generated symbols.
Generated Coin placement
For a single-trigger sequence, label generated Coins G1, G2 and G3 and store their same value as the source set. Record the board after each placement if the animation reveals them sequentially.
A generated Coin can land on an empty or occupied feature position according to the game logic shown. Use the settled server board rather than choosing a preferred destination.
Once all placements resolve, save the new board as F1 for the second evaluation.
Generated Wild placement
In a multiple-trigger state, generated symbols are Wilds. Assign identifiers and capture their destination cells. Use live help to determine substitution exclusions.
Generated Wilds can contribute to paylines and may help fill another reel for follow-on generation under the provider description. Preserve the exact symbol pattern.
Do not attach an invented multiplier to these Wilds. The public page identifies substitution behaviour through Wild generation, not a multiplier value.
First win evaluation
Evaluate F0 before any new Coin or Wild placement. Trace all ten paylines and record Coin and non-Coin awards according to the active paytable.
This subtotal is earned from the original result. It should remain in the round total even if later placements change the visible board.
Store line number, symbol, count and amount. A feature trigger can occur with or without an ordinary line award.
Second win evaluation
After the complete Coin Flip sequence settles, evaluate the resulting board again. Record the same ten-line data as a separate subtotal.
The second evaluation does not erase the first. Add the two confirmed subtotals to reconstruct the round result.
If the game performs several generation waves, use the live history to determine whether evaluation occurs only at the end or at documented intermediate states.
Follow-on full reels
Generated Coins or Wilds can fill additional reels with the required symbol pattern. When that happens, those symbols generate further symbols.
Label each wave W1, W2 and onward. For every new trigger, store the reel, three source cells, generated symbol type and destination cells.
Do not collapse the chain into the final grid; the intermediate boards prove how many symbols were legitimately created.
Coin and Wild follow-on distinction
If a single Coin type creates the next full reel, record the same-value Coin generation described by the server. If multiple triggering sets produce Wild generation, preserve that mode for the relevant wave.
The exact transition can depend on the state that caused the follow-on trigger. Use completed history rather than extrapolating from F0.
Keep Coin values and Wild identities in separate fields so the second payline calculation can be reproduced.
Preventing double counting
Source Coins, generated Coins and generated Wilds belong to different state roles. Do not add a source Coin again simply because it also appears on F1.
Only payline awards are added to the round total, not the face values of every visible Coin unless the paytable explicitly pays them that way.
Mark every transformed or generated cell so the same event is not counted in two waves.
Three Scatters and six Free Spins
Three Bonus Scatters award six Free Spins. Save their coordinates, six-spin opening counter and feature transition.
Coin Flip is guaranteed on every Free Spin, so record the trigger and generation sequence for each of the six states.
Scatters are a separate symbol class; Coin or Wild generation does not replace missing trigger Scatters in the base game unless the help expressly says so.
Four Scatters and ten Free Spins
Four Bonus Scatters award ten Free Spins. Record all four positions and the ten-spin counter.
Do not combine the six- and ten-spin tiers. One trigger count selects one starting package.
Each feature spin still requires its own before-and-after board, even though Coin Flip activation is guaranteed.
Five Scatters and twenty Free Spins
Five Bonus Scatters award twenty Free Spins, the largest published tier. Save the five-Scatter grid and opening counter.
Twenty scheduled activations do not guarantee a particular number of follow-on waves or a profitable result. Placements and payline outcomes remain variable.
Keep the starting twenty separate from any extension rule that might appear in deployed help; the public page does not state a retrigger.
Guaranteed Coin Flip in bonus play
Every Free Spin activates Coin Flip. Record how the server supplies the full-reel condition on each spin and which Coin type or generated Wild state results.
“Guaranteed” applies to feature activation, not an award amount. A generated board can still produce a modest or zero second subtotal under the paytable.
Do not claim that every spin begins with several triggering reels. One valid activation is sufficient for the published guarantee.
Free Spin state worksheet
Use one row per Free Spin with counter, F0 grid, first subtotal, triggering reel, source Coin type, generation waves, F1 grid, second subtotal and total.
If generated Wilds appear, add their coordinates and substitution role. Number follow-on waves so the final board can be reconstructed.
At feature end, sum every spin total and compare it with the server feature result.
Base-round worksheet
Recommended fields are round ID, stake, RTP, F0 grid, line awards, trigger reels, source types, generated cells, follow-on waves, F1 grid and second awards.
Keep both evaluations even when one is zero. This prevents the absent subtotal from being mistaken for missing data.
Compare the calculated combined result with the account ledger credit.
RTP evidence
The public feature page does not print an RTP percentage. Record the active value and Game ID from live help or the exact official sheet.
Do not borrow a 96% figure from Slugger Time or another Quickspin release. Each product’s configuration must be verified independently.
Low volatility is the provider’s broad classification and does not replace an exact RTP or predict one feature result.
No unsupported maximum or buy
The readable provider page does not state a maximum win or Buy Feature. Leave both unclaimed unless the current official sheet or live help supplies them.
Do not import the 75× purchase or 22,000× limit from Slugger Time. Internal links do not make rules transferable.
If an operator version shows a control, preserve its own terms and market availability.
Worked single-trigger sequence
Suppose reel two contains three identical Coins. Record F0 and all first-stage line wins. Each source Coin then generates one same-value Coin into the positions selected by the server.
Save the three destinations and F1. Calculate the ten paylines again and add the second subtotal to the first.
This example explains chronology without assigning a fictional Coin value, position or award.
Worked multiple-trigger sequence
Suppose reels two and four each contain a full matching Coin set. Record both triggers. The generated symbols become Wilds under the published multiple-trigger rule.
Save every Wild destination and check whether a new reel becomes full enough to continue the feature. Number any new wave before evaluating the final grid.
The example does not predict how often the state occurs.
Worked follow-on chain
Suppose W1 places Coins that complete another reel of the same Coin type. Record the new three-symbol source and generate the next set as W2.
Continue until no additional reel meets the trigger condition. Do not award a wave for a reel with mixed Coin types.
The final F-state is then used for the documented after-feature line evaluation.
Mobile presentation
On a phone, the entire 5×3 grid, Coin types and generation destinations must remain visible. The first board should be recoverable from history after animations replace it.
Show the ten paylines without hiding the feature result. In Free Spins, keep the counter and guaranteed activation state visible together.
Use labels or values as well as colour to distinguish the four Coin types accessibly.
Support evidence package
Provide title, Game ID, RTP, stake, round ID, F0, first subtotal, all trigger reels, generated cells, follow-on waves, F1 and second subtotal.
For Free Spins add Scatter count, starting counter and each spin record. Account passwords and payment credentials are unnecessary for a game-result dispute.
Source and market scope
Quickspin’s page supports the 5×3 layout, Coin trigger, generation, Wild conversion, double evaluation and Free Spins tiers. It does not establish a New Zealand casino listing, NZD stake range, RTP, buy or maximum.
The royal-salon hero is original editorial artwork rather than a reel screenshot. Use current game help and server history for deployed facts and date operator availability checks.
Closing the two-stage calculation
Before closing a Flip Royale round, compare F0 and the final generated board cell by cell. Every new Coin must link to one of the three source Coins on a triggering reel, while generated Wilds must link to the documented multiple-trigger state. A symbol with no source or placement event should not be inserted into the reconstruction.
Next list all ten paylines for F0 and calculate the first subtotal. Repeat the line check on the final feature state and calculate the second subtotal. Keep zero-value stages in the record: a round can trigger Coin Flip without paying on one of the two evaluations, and omitting that stage makes the sequence appear incomplete.
For chains with several waves, verify that each follow-on reel was fully occupied by the same Coin type or by the specific Wild condition shown by the game before it generated another set. Mixed Coins on one reel do not satisfy the published same-Coin trigger.
Finally, add the two server-confirmed subtotals and compare them with the round total and account ledger credit. During Free Spins, repeat the process for every guaranteed activation and confirm that only the original paid trigger consumed an ordinary stake. Preserve the Game ID, RTP if shown, trigger tier, complete history and timestamp together.
This sequence keeps every recorded outcome auditable.

Official source
Bottom line: treat Coin Flip as a sequence with an initial payout, generated symbols and a second evaluation.
How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Quickspin, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
